Unassuming from the outside, but super friendly and great selection. Definitely worth stopping in.

Great selection of bourbons and Cigars for sure. I had a nice Reuben sandwich for lunch. I also…read moreordered the chips and salsa. . The serving of salsa was pretty skimpy Given the size of the basket of chips I got. I had to ask for a refill on the salsa. Also, the salsa to me was not salsa, It was more like pico de gallo as it was all just chunks, which was tasty enough, but if I'm to be dipping chips into salsa I was really expecting something a little more liquidy and not just chunks. Also, their chips are way too thin for their salsa, as such as it is. The chips kept breaking every time I wanted to scoop up any of the chips/pico de gallo sauce. Finally, I was a little annoyed at the end, when I noticed the was a slight price increase on my angels envy bourbon. Apparently they charged me $.50 to have one ice cube in my glass. I noted to my server that nobody had asked me what size ice I wanted I had merely said angels envy on the rocks. I didn't get rocks plural. I got one piece of ice. And it wasn't one of those humongous cubes like I have at home either.

So disappointing to see they still sneak a 5% "admin fee" onto the bill…read more Today they closed early and required payment in cash because their point of sale system is down. They even turned off the TVs almost an hour early and started turning off the lights 30 minutes before the announced early closing time (5:30pm). Despite this utter admin failure, they still had the nerve to charge the 5% extra.

I ran out of room giving the backstory so I cut it and and will start from here…read more ... We get there and there is a line. Not a long one but it wasn't moving so one of us says "Let's get a table". Guess which one didn't say that. While they are deciding if we are going to get a table, I read the dress code. It said not sweat pants but my sweats weren't bad. What I was wearing looks like casual sweats that a ball player would be wearing so when I asked if I would be able to get in, the guy was like yeah, no problem. I was a little suspicious and my boy started laughing because it seemed like dude didn't even let me finish my question before he said yeah. He must have know how smooth I was and how I would add appeal to the club LOL. My thought was we would stand in line and enter because the main reason we were going to do bottle service was to ensure we get in with what we were wearing. Come to find out, we were entertaining bottle service because we are old and they wanted to ensure they had a place to sit down. So we tell them we want to get a table and this is when we get to see the staff in action. Up to this point, we only see out front security dude and a lady letting people in at a slow pace. They go get someone to arrange our table and they walk us in. The dude that walks us in is very professional. I thought he was walking us into a safe deposit box in a vault the way he handled us. It was nice. We get in and there is a section to our right of younger people, mid 20's it turned out and 2 were having a birthday. They were pretty mellow but they were coupled up. Once the single women started to join the party, it was a whole different vibe. Table was a $850 spend which I thought was a bit much for this place. I mean, it's in the MGM but it isn't Vegas which was only $150 more. I got Uncle Nearest because supporting black businesses is important to me and a bottle of Grey Goose because we don't drink Tequilla and we love Grey Goose. We asked for ginger beer, cranberry juice, orange juice and sprite. We didn't get the ginger beer at first but we did get ginger ale. Eventually they brought out the ginger beer but that took a while. However, that didn't matter because it took even longer to bring out the spirits. I don't remember the woman's name but she was a good server. She was reasonably attentive considering it seemed like she had a lot of tables to attend to. There were times we had to stop her as she walked by because we needed something. She was obviously preoccupied with what the other table asked of her but we also needed something so I stopped her and asked if they had stir straws that you get in rock glasses because we had full size soda straws but only rock glasses and that don't work well. She did get some straws cut for us in a timely manner. I'm just going to come right out and say it. There were way too many dudes in there. I don't know if it was more balanced at one point and the women were just like, nah and rolled out but I hope they weren't just letting people in because they were in line. I am a compassionate person and I understand it's a struggle to get into some clubs at times but you have to keep the balance. I know you want to make money and dudes spend money but they spend more money if women are in there. I guess some money is better than no money but I think it taints the brand. I'm not pressed to go back because it had to be 11 guys to 1 woman. Now, we weren't out for that but the ratio is still the appeal. The DJ was pretty good. I don't remember when he actually started spinning because I was focused on the game and didn't notice him til the TV went off which I'm guessing is when he got up there. I hope my vision wasn't that focused on the game that I didn't see a DJ standing right there but there wasn't really much of anything to watch but the game unless I wanted to watch a club full of dudes watch the 6 women dancing together on the dance floor. Most of the people dancing were couples that look like they came together and groups of girls. I saw two girls dance with what seemed like randoms but everyone else was just standing around. I guess they were taking just a break from gambling. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't one that makes me want to go back anytime soon. If this service was in a different place or if it was a better night the review would be slightly different. They can't help that I chose to come out on this specific date but it was a Friday and we did stay til they kicked us out. Yup! The old dudes shut that piece down! LOL.

You MUST go on "Felt Friday". Its a whole vibe. I appreciate the dress code because everyone looks…read moreso nice and pretty...everyone always has good energy and easy to talk to. I usually go solo and party with random awesome people. The drinks are pricey but ladies not to worry, a nice gentleman will treat you to a drink or two. The dj is usually good as well. I remember coming to Casta's Rum Bar back in the day when it was more of a nightlife spot, but…read morerecently I've been going for their happy hour - and honestly, it's become one of my favorites. Their mojito is exactly how it should be: super refreshing, light, and not overly sweet. I also tried the frozen piña colada, and it genuinely transports you with every sip. So good. Food-wise, you really can't go wrong. The yuca & tostones basket is a must every time - perfectly crispy with a slight tang from the sauce that keeps you going back for more. I've had both the chicken and beef empanadas, and adding a little of the sauces they serve with them just brings everything together. I was a little hesitant about the maduros envueltos en tocino (plantains wrapped in bacon), but they completely surprised me - in the best way. Sweet, savory, and honestly addictive. And the Cuban sandwich? Top notch. You can tell they've really nailed the bread, which makes all the difference. Everything also comes with a side of greens in a light vinaigrette, which balances things out so you don't leave feeling too heavy. The vibe is lowkey with dim lighting and always great music playing - perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends. The servers are always very attentive and polite, which makes the experience even better. They also have a separate smoke room where you can wind down with a Cuban cigar, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to.

Food was decent but there are some misses that I wouldn't get again. The service was really good,…read morewe sat at the bar and even though they were on their phones a lot they made sure to be aware of what was happening around the bar. I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars. I honestly didn't realize this was more of a club vibe until I was asked for my ID at the door and heard how loud the music was, but at that point there was no turning back, I wanted to try the food. As more people came in the music got louder and louder and I remember how much I liked this vibe when I was younger and it was funny how much I wasn't a fan of it now. The drinks were good I got the white flag which tasted like tamarind with a smooth after taste from the vanilla. For the food. We ended up only really looking the empanadas and the guac, I would pass on the octopus the flavor tasted pretty off. I eat a lot of octopus and it tasted like it wasn't stored properly. If you are looking for a place with a lot of energy and a slightly younger working professional crowd, it's a nice spot. I think some people were secretly smoking inside though and it ended up triggering my asthma so be aware of that if you have asthma.

From the moment you step through the door, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between old-world sophistication and genuine warmth. What truly sets this establishment apart, however, is the unparalleled customer service. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Teresa Wessling, and "excellent" doesn't even begin to cover it. She is truly amazing; she made me feel like family rather than just another customer. I could not have been more pleased with the care and attention I received throughout my visit. For the aficionados, the selection here is top-tier. They boast what has to be the largest selection of Padrón cigars I've seen, covering everything from the classic lines to the most sought-after anniversaries. But don't leave without trying their exceptional house blend, the Caucus cigar. It is a standout smoke that holds its own against any major label. Whether you are a seasoned smoker or a curious newcomer, the hospitality and expertise here make it a world-class destination. Highly recommended!

Excellent service!!!!! Great selection of premium cigars…read more Great recommendation for local cigars (PG) Great prices on premium cigars. I finally made it into Georgetown Tobacco!!! I'm from NC but, I've visited DC countless times over the years and I have walked past GT plenty of times. On this trip to DC my wife and I were strictly shopping and relaxing so what better way to relax than to pick up a couple of cigars. I'm so glad we stopped in I was first being helped by a young man who did a wonderful job. After asking a couple of questions Teresa stepped in to give me a personal concierge experience that was outstanding she made recommendations and answered any questions I had. We shared some laughs and talked about the history of Georgetown Tobacco, I picked up some really good sticks that I can't wait to try out. I will definitely be stopping back in when I'm in town and I'll also purchase some online to get shipped to me.
