    $150 Nigiri Plate

They charged me $150 for each plate. One of the worst party plates I've ordered. Waste of money. Food quality was not even great. Sushi rice had no taste at all. I would never go back..

My friends brought me to this amazing seafood place. We called in for reservations. We ordered the flatfish sashimi plate that was $250 and it was a 10-12 dish meal. We split it between 6 people. Everything tasted delicious and the service was also the best. The ambiance is an under the sea theme which was super cute. I would definitely come back again.

Awsome food i have been here so many times with my friends and family and honestly i have never had something bad too say. The people there are so nice they always provide outstanding service. such a beautiful place as well very comfortable to eat there (semi private). My favorite rolls are the Godzilla roll, Creamy crab and shrimp tempura roll. I recommend the fried rice it's so good too.

I was really craving sushi and was in the area. I called and ordered Spicy tuna roll Alaskan Roll Spicy scallop roll The woman who took and gave me my order was nice and I appreciated her service! I thought the salmon and scallop were very fresh! I did like the spicy tuna roll, but overall, the sushi was not for me. Both the Alaskan Roll and the Spicy scallop roll seemed very disconnected. I think it's because the rice want sticky enough, so it felt like I was eating each ingredient on its own. I would also recommend eating the sushi without the soy sauce because it was super salty and it overpowered the sushi.

The sushi was fantastic! Very appealing menu that offers a wide variety of classic rolls and signature modern twists. The sashimi was very fresh and nice thick cuts! The service was phenomenal! Very friendly staff that want to make sure your visit is a good one. Highly recommend for good sushi!

The plaza where the restaurant is at could be very packed on weekend nights so be aware that it might take you very long time to find parking. Much easier to find parking during weekdays. I ordered sashimi bibimbap ($22) - a premium choice for poke. I personally don't like poke because of the bad quality of the fish. But this sashimi bibimbap has pretty fresh sashimi. Portion is big too. So even if it's pricey compared to your normal poke bowl, I recommend this over poke. Environment is nice too.

They said $85 on the phone, but charged $120. Lied on the phone. Complete rip off. Trust me. I get sushi regularly. Do not go here.

We absolutely love it here. If you are a nigiri lover, they have excellent quality options and take a ton of care. Super fresh, expertly cut. Also really nice generous welcoming people! The rolls are delicious too, and awesome value. We need to make sure this place is packed so it sticks around! I never do reviews but feel compelled in this instance.

This spot is perfect to celebrate a family birthday or have a big gathering out on a weekend dinner! They take precaution for COVID with masks and gloves and sanitizing. The atmosphere was very well lit and clean. This is my second time coming here and I'm still blown away about the freshness of the food and the quality of the dishes. The workers are very friendly and checked up on us often.

I ordered the hwedupbap (Korean sashimi rice) as pictured & really enjoyed it. I liked that it was really fresh, they gave us a lot of sashimi and provided the perfect ratio of ingredients. They even gave us little side dishes and offered us miso soup (pretty standard for korean sushi restaurants). We went there during lunch time on a Saturday, and it was pretty quiet. Everything was also very clean - would go again when we're in the area!

You have to come here for the limited $19 special you get 4 dishes and so much food!!!

This is my go-to sushi spot in the suburbs. I wish they had a spot in the city, it would save me from the drive but it is worth it visiting my parents in the suburbs each time. I like that they have an anniversary special right now for only $19 which includes several courses from sashimi, chirashi, tempura, appetizer. It is a lot of food for the amount and I always get full which is hard when I go out to eat sushi/japanese food. I like that the fish is fresh and they have tanks of other seafood that they can grab and serve right away like squid to other items that I don't see very often in seafood restaurants. My other favorite item is hay-dup-bap which is an array of sashimi pieces in a bed of rice and vegetables which you mix with a spicy sauce.

Our waitress was wonderful, and helped us with some recommendations upon us letting her know it was our first visit! She checked in with us frequently, and made sure drinks were always refilled promptly! We had a bunch of different items, and all were very good! We tried sushi rolls, beef noodles, and ramen. I'd have to say that the beef noodles probably were the best item for me! A few chewy seaweed pieces but I won't let that knock the freshness of the sushi. Service is where I have to drop a star. Not friendly, just pointed to the bar and told us to have a seat. When she came to take our order she didn't greet us or ask about anything besides "what would you like". We ordered 4 rolls which came out fairly quick...one at a time and the last two together. We then asked for 2 more rolled after flagging her down. She kept coughing which was a bit off putting. Assuming she was sick and maybe wasn't feeling well. Eeeeek. I'd go back as the place is close, cozy and quality of sushi was better than others in the area. I also like the options they had which were not the standard as we find around most places in this area. Usually they're similar rolls with different names.

It's quaint - doesn't have a lot of decor, but it's decent looking. We sat at a two top by the front door and window, but it is next to a short wall with a decorative piece on the shelf so it makes that table kind of private. We were amazed to see how many servers they had working that evening when we arrived 7:30 pm without a reservation. There were probably six open tables and within half an hour the place was completely packed so they had staffed up well with five servers for maybe 15 tables. We enjoyed the ike karaage which is octopus tentacles. They call them squid on the menu, but squid tentacles are much smaller than that. They were crispy on the outside and tender inside. The dipping sauce was super light and fluffy maybe with a tiny bit of lemon and miso and it complemented the karaage very well. We also had the blistered shishito peppers which were dusted with ground red pepper and came with a soy base dipping sauce and a lemon. We thought maybe they would be good with the miso lemon aïoli, but actually they were much better dipped in the soy sauce mixture. My entree was the sashimi salad, which really had an enormous amount of fish. All I could see was tuna and salmon chunks (probably leftovers that could not be used in sushi because of their shape) with a nice mixture of greens and tobiko. It was lightly dressed with a soy, ginger and sesame vinaigrette and very tasty. My husband had the hama chili roll and it was very light but flavorful. The pricing is great and we plan on returning in the near future.

So we got out of the car and saw someone pull up in front of the restaurant and jump out at 11:59. As soon as the door was unlocked at 12pm, this customer went in, and a few others after them. This is a small joint, and it was already half full by the time we ordered, then sat down (they told us the table at which to sit). I didn't know, but asked, and found out that a salad bar and miso soup are also included. The salad bar was pretty decent, with fresh vegs. They even had French fried onions (my guilty pleasure) and a very good House dressing (ginger vinaigrette). The portions are enormous. The couple next to us got ramen, and it was practically overflowing. We ordered takoyaki (too much food, we didn't need). I had the Pork Katsu bowl and my companion had a Katsu curry. I wished I had ordered the curry -- it looked dark and rich and thick like pudding (not like a boxed curry). They also gave us a bonus piece of chicken karaage which was so large and crispy. I think I'll get the curry next time, or the ramen. We originally came because we were going to get a karaage sando, but get the curry.
