Absolutely delicious! It was so nice to try Ethiopian cuisine. Everything was so very tasty. The chicken and waffles was the best I've tasted in a long time. The chicken was crispy, moist, and it has this tasty sweet glaze on it. Even though it was coated in sauce you could see layers of Ethiopian spices coating the chicken wings. The waffle was light, a little spongy, and had a bite of spice to it. The dish overall had great flavors that worked together well. I also tried Injera with an array of Ethiopian vegetables, including Kinche, CheChebsa, cabbage, eggs, and red lentil. My favorite of all the vegetables was the red lentil. It was rooted in very deep rich flavors and spices. The eggs were also super flavorful. The Kinche I would eat again for sure just not with the Injera. It reminds me of a chunky oatmeal with a perfect bite. I would eat it again with an array of breakfast proteins like sausage and eggs. Additionally, I got to participate in the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Not only was it special, I learned a lot about their culture and how they view coffee and the ceremony itself. I was scared to try Ethiopian food for no reason, it was magnificent! read more
