Jeanne and Robert's gem of a store was a fixture in downtown Arlington Heights for twenty-three years. Fantastic wines at great price points was the main attraction and the housewares selections were equally top notch. Beyond the fantastic products were the amazing cast of characters that crossed the threshold. Customers, vendors, and employees alike congregated within and created quite the social amalgamation. I count myself lucky to be both a customer and a former employee. The eight years I worked there flew by and I'll cherish the conversations, the laughs, and the great moments of life that we shared along the way. How about a vintage Gaultier pant suit? It's there. And it's cheap. From my $15 Vivenne Westwood sunglasses find to my $40 Armani suit, Sharin has been outfitting me since my sophomore year of high school. Seriously great stuff. Amazing staff that are happy to help you find gems in the racks and racks of clothes of clothes stuffing the tiny storefront. They're only open on weekends so turn down the service road and keep your eye out for an open sign on an otherwise unmarked doorway.
