Beware!! New Owners who do not know what they are doing…read more I am a 20 year customer and loved all the people who worked there and never had a problem until now. The new owners are not cleaning the clothes on the premises. When I went to pick up my shirts on the day they were due and they could not locate them as I waited for 45 minutes. The person who was at the counter is part of the new ownership and is totally incompetent. She finally called someone to find out the tags or slips are falling off and would be there the next day. When I went there the next day, they were still not ready. She said they may arrive the next day after 2:00pm. I asked them for a discount of any amount just for my inconvenience. The person at the counter called her manager and I spoke to her on the phone and after I explained my situation she said no discount. I asked her if she still wants my business. She said NO. Thank God it was a small order. The total for the two shirts was just 6.50. All I wanted was something to tell me they respected and appreciated my business with them. Even a dollar or two. Now I will never go back and will tell everyone I know this story. No Business Acumen and another example of a new owner coming in a screwing up a business that had been around 70 or 80 years.

The other was a suit I had worn once. I bought that suit from a very reputable store and their tailor did the alterations on it. I was foolish and did not try it on until the day before I was going to wear it to a wedding. Holy crap! The pants were way too short and the sleeves on the jacket were not only short but uneven. I had no choice but wear it and looked like a clown. I brought both suits to Ann Harrington at Take me to the cleaners and she could not help but laugh when I showed her a picture of me in the suit. Ann said she would do what she could but that I shouldn't expect too much. The outcome was unbelievable. She had to add extra fabric to the pants and the sleeves because the butcher had not left enough material. Absolutely everything fit perfectly! What a fantastic job she did. The pants were supposed to be 29 inches and Ann measured then and said they were 23. I thought I was going to have to thrown the suit away but thanks to Ann I now have 2 suits that fit beautifully. Old fashion quality and workmanship and at a reasonable price. Could not ask for more and I will NEVER go any place else again. Thank you so much Ann, you are great. Wish I could offer more than 5 stars.

I would highly advise no one to go into this "store". Especially please no children. Something is…read moreseriously disturbing about the place. Dark and creepy feel. From the outside it appears that nothing exists. But when you enter, there is a so called business in operation. The outside windows are filthy and looks like it has never been cleaned and maintained for decades and has very old magazine cut outs of Levi's jeans. When you enter you have to go at least half way into the store to see very very little merchandise. I would say only about 10 pairs of Levi's scattered around and some military shorts, sacks, flight jackets. As soon as you enter there is extremely strong mold odor all about and the ceilings are terribly cracked like it will fall. There is a lot of empty shelves and about old 3 hand written signs with prices that don't reflect the actual price of the item when you ask for it. Prices are outrageous and nothing has a price tag on it. DO NOT ENTER the other door. There is a giant hole in the wall. The size to fit humans. I swear, we felt very uneasy in there and it really appeared to be a FRONT for something else really going on behind the scenes. Very strange and uncomfortable and creepy. Something not right about this place and the very strange old sales guy. DO NOT GO IN. Way cheaper and better quality elsewhere. Safety of your life first. This place should be demolished. Lots of health and safety violations.
