It's bright, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere whether you're meeting up with friends, hosting a Bible study, getting some work done, or enjoying a slow brunch. The staff has always been kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. As for the coffee, I'd personally rate it around a 7/10. They have fun signature drinks that are worth trying, but I've had coffee elsewhere that I prefer. Everyone's taste is different, though, and that's just my personal opinion. The food is good, but I do find it a bit pricey for the portion sizes. Because of that, I don't usually order food when I visit. That said, their pastries are fantastic! The banana bread is easily one of my favorites and is a solid 9/10. Even though I think it's on the expensive side, I still find myself going often because it's close to home and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Sometimes you're paying for the overall experience, and Coffee Crush definitely delivers on that. Overall, I'd give Coffee Crush an 8/10. If you haven't been yet, I'd absolutely recommend checking it out and deciding for yourself. Between the gorgeous space, friendly staff, and creative signature drinks, it's definitely worth adding to your coffee shop bucket list.

We ordered when there was one other person in here eating. We ordered half a dozen donuts and two orders of breakfast tacos. We were given two breakfast sandwiches 10 minutes after ordering and I told the girl up front we ordered two orders of breakfast tacos (4). She went to the back and said they would remake. They brought us out only 2 tacos. I asked the guy and girl up front if the breakfast tacos are no longer an order of two and they said "oh yeah they are." I said well I ordered 2 orders, 4 tacos. She then said they would make two more and she forced me to pay again for another order of breakfast tacos saying she only charged me for one order. So I paid. I then realized she charged us for 2 breakfast tacos, so shouldn't have charged me again for two breakfast tacos since it's the same price. Mind you, we are still waiting for our donuts. It's been 40 minutes. Once I realized that I should not have paid again because I got the receipt and she put the order in wrong and charged us for 2 sandwiches, not tacos so I told her and she over charged me she then tells me no "it was actually cheaper". I said no, you charged us for two sandwiches, which is almost exactly the same price as 4 tacos and then you make me pay for two more tacos. You need to refund us for a sandwich you initially charged us for. She said she was confused but had no manager there and no one knows how to refund anything there today because the manager is "on the news right now". I asked her once more and the girl in the back who was cooking how much longer it would be and she rolled her eyes at me and said "yeah, you're the one I had to remake their tacos so it'll be a while longer." I asked why because we had been waiting 40 minutes and others who have ordered and eaten and come and gone already and she snapped at me that they were busy and had other orders to work on and walked away while I was talking to her. I wanted to ask for my money back for it all, but no one working knew how to give refunds!! I haven't ever been to a place with so many clueless people who were not only clueless, but so extremely rude with poor manners and zero customer service skills. The girl up front was nice enough, but clearly struggling and maybe untrained. The girl in the back was absolutely dreadful. I was told to call and see if someone could partially refund me later and she actually recommended I do a charge back with my credit card company, which is insane because the business pays fees for that and this could have been done so easily had someone been trained. We waited FAR too long for donuts here and far too long to get the wrong order twice before it was corrected and we weren't the only ones complaining. I certainly hope a manager sees this because this location is in trouble if this is the way it's being run. I will NEVER come here again. We're bringing haphazardly made donuts home and breakfast tacos for my in laws that are now cold because we waited so long. I know good help is hard to find, but behavior as disgusting as what I witnessed today by the girl in the back cooking was so disappointing and proves just anyone doesn't belong in hospitality. I'm absolutely ashamed that we spent $50 here today and were treated the way we were. Aside from all of this, 2 of the donuts were made incorrectly and all of them tasted no where near fresh. A refund for anything was impossible there in the store when no one is capable of handling anything. **EDITED TO ADD** I called yesterday to try and speak with a manager and no luck. I called the following day (this morning) again. The same girl answered and cluelessly said "a manager?" I said yes, please, a manager. A girl came to the phone who said she wasn't a manager but was in charge and if something happened I needed to speak with a Christy who was a manager and she gave me a direct number. Unfortunately, Christy (sp?) has AI call screening on her phone and wouldn't take my call. I left a message explaining I had a horrible experience at her store and needed someone to contact me and she never did. Very obvious that this place is headed for no where good. Don't expect to clear up any issues when you come here and trust me, you will likely have issues because 80% of people we encountered there also did. No one here can do anything correctly, with any urgency or cares that they can't.

We can turn something as…read moresimple as grabbing breakfast into an adventure filled with laughter, conversation, and, of course, great food. This time, our morning led us to Pan & Coffee, a bakery and café I picked after spotting its impressive 4.7-star Yelp rating. Pan & Coffee is located on Stone Oak Parkway in San Antonio and proved to be every bit as charming as we expected. From the moment we walked in, the café felt warm, inviting, and bright. The open, airy layout, high ceilings, and oversized windows bathed the space in natural light. First, the bakery case immediately steals your attention. Rows of beautifully crafted pastries behind perfectly constructed glass cases practically beg you to take one or three home. Smile. Their selection includes flaky croissants, colorful conchas, sticky monkey bread, cinnamon rolls, fruit-filled pastries, and other freshly baked treats. My brother and I couldn't resist ordering a cinnamon roll and a lemon pastry, and both were absolutely delicious. The pastries were generously sized, making them perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself. For breakfast, I ordered the avocado toast while my brother chose one of their breakfast sandwiches. Both dishes arrived with generous portions and were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Pan & Coffee also shines when it comes to its beverage menu. In addition to traditional espresso drinks, they offer creative specialty lattes infused with Mexican-inspired flavors, including the Dulce de Leche Latte, Brown Sugar Latte, Café de Olla, and the unique Concha Latte. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which was warm and super flavorful. Great bonding with my big brother and first time experience at Pan & Coffee.

The latter I waited I would say at least 25 minutes for. No, that's not a typo. You could argue I should have asked for a refund or just left, but I already felt committed at this point. I watched them batch up 10 drinks at a time, work on them a bit, walk away, come back and do the next step, then walk away again. Batching drinks makes sense for an order. It doesn't make sense for the whole restaurant. People who ordered 15 minutes after me were getting their stuff at the same time. Drinks at the end of batch were fresh and hot, drinks at the front were of course sitting for that entire time. I could see they were busy, and I prefer to not give people a hard time, but at minute 20 I finally asked if my drink was still being made. I got a shoulder shrug, then she checked and then it was finished and handed to me. No apology for the wait. Apparently I should have asked 15 minutes prior Again, the pastries and coffees are fine. None of them are worth the time spent waiting for them.
