While in Rome, my husband and I wanted something other than Italian food, just to change things up. They do take reservations, but we didn't have one. They still were able to seat us immediately. This was probably because we went around 7:30pm, which seems early for dinner in Italy.
The prices were pretty expensive for what you get. Our bill would have been probably half of what we paid in the US. One sushi roll was 20€. We're on vacation and the location was convenient, so we didn't care much.
The restaurant itself is modern and clean. Low lighting and not too loud.
The menu was not in English so we were a little intimidated at first. The server was extremely nice about it. We explained we were having a hard time deciding because we were struggling with our Italian reading skills. He was patient and asked what we were looking for and made great suggestions.
While our appetizer and sushi came out in a reasonable amount of time, it did take a while to get our entree. We weren't in a hurry and were enjoying our wine. It took a bit to catch the attention of the server when we were finished to get the bill also. We've found this pretty typical during our time in Florence and Rome, so it's possibly a cultural difference from the US. Overall, great! We would eat there again. read more
