Recently used Shining Image for my window. I'm a repeat customer and they came out last year and did a very good job. This year was a complete disaster. They sent their first technician out. I politely asked for him to clean some windows on the second floor. The tech had a complete meltdown and walked off the job without completing the work. I contacted their customer service department. They apologized and sent a second technician out who arrived a few hours later. He was here about 15 minutes and apparently broke one of his tools. He told me was going to buy a new tool and he would call and come back. I never heard from him. The next day they sent a 3rd crew to finish the job. This was the same crew that came last year. They were very good. This company has some work to do finding professions to the job. They are sending people to work inside your home so this is critical. read more

My neighbor recommended this company for window cleaning and I am glad I went with them. It was super quick and easy to schedule an appointment. You can fill up a form online and you will get a call within few hours from their office. They have some nice packages for cleaning windows according to what's best suits you. They lady explained me their pricing and I was able to get an appointment immediately! The person who was going to clean my windows showed up on time. Quickly checked all my windows and gave a quote as well. I wanted to even get my screen and tracks cleaned so he was able to tell me the exact pricing. He did an excellent job and was very professional and courteous. He was wearing the mask and made sure while he was inside cleaning the windows, not to disturb us. I have a 2 story house and he did a great job in cleaning all the above level windows from outside. They are insured and bonded as well. We called Shining Image Windows for an estimate on cleaning the Anderson Windows in our two story house. Anderson is particular about what is used to clean the windows so we needed to make sure the company we used did not use alcohol or ammonia. The office personnel were quite friendly and helpful. We received a very reasonable estimate and made the appointment for the work. The crew (Louis and David) arrived on time and completed the work professionally, quickly, and efficiently, cleaning the windows, screens, and casings. Our windows are sparkling now. I booked an appointment two weeks ago and received a call at 7:30 this morning asking if they should still come out because it's windy. Told the gentleman to pls come and reiterated our 10:00 appt time. At 11:15 called back to be told that Gilbert was in the hospital. Seriously? !! Not a happy camper....received a coupon for window cleaning in the mail. The price was good and the company appeared professional. I called left a message and they called back to discuss the service, price, etc and set an appointment. Long story short. They never showed up for the appointment so I called after an hour to ask what was going on and they didn't seem to know. Said they would find out where their tech was and would call me back. It's now 5 PM and they didn't call back. I called them and left a message to please verify if they would be there tomorrow (TODAY). Did not hear back. Called multiple times this morning and only got leave a message. Have not heard back I don't get the fact that they advertised for my business, made an appointment, sort of followed up once and never called back. I DO NOT recommend this company or it's services UPDATE!!!! Just heard back from the company to let me know they got my negative review. I would have preferred that they return my calls sooner rather than wait to see me post a negative review. Silly consumer :-) read more

This is the most pathetic excuse for a service I have ever seen. They stood on our furniture, asked for refreshments while cleaning, took 6 hours to clean 20 windows. They knocked on our door to let us know they were here, then took 15 minutes to eat thier brekfast while we waited on them. They did not want to do the high windows which was the whole reason they were here in the first place. They did not move things out of the way or put them back. They said the windows were stained and scratched, when in reality, this is a 5 year old home and the windows were just dirty and he was lazy. They counted some windows as 2 windows. They would say some windows were clean when they obviously were not and was just too lazy to do thier damn job. I am disgusted and irate. There were more excuses than windows in my house. I recommend you pass on these idiots. I will never use them again. A total waste of money and time.mi am shocked by the unprofessionalism. He was argumentative. I almost think he had mental issues. He was bossing his helper...a woman..around and very rude to her. If they had a negative star rating, I would give them that. What is worse is my wife is scared that I write this review because the guy that "serviced" my house was sketchy at best. Signed, a very DISGRUNTLED veteran. here's an update...over this weekend 2 guys came to the house.they did not do as good a job as Zach did the last two times. I understand training a new guy and doing your job can be time consuming..windows aren't as clean as the way Zack did them..so I'm seeing a few different ways these gentleman clean theirs..so maybe Zach can show them his technique with the wiper blade..these guys even missed spots where I had to have A*** go back and get the area where he totally missed on the inside..hey I'm not complaining really..but there are noticeably towel streaks..missed places.somebody dropped their comb and a blue pen outside so now the dogs have blue tongues and thank gosh the pen didn't leak on the carpet.only the tile...the woodwork got banged also.noticed after the workers left. read more

Based off the interaction between the two companies and how they conducted themselves with me I would never recommend using Shining Image services. I thought both parties acted unprofessional, dishonest, and worked together to falsify timelines and emails. This company says it works in San Antonio; it sends mailer coupons every week. I called to get an estimate, explaining I lived in an old house. I was given a quote and told only if the number of windows went up would the price increase. This is not true but more of a bait and switch thing. They sent out a subcontractor who was really just a man and his family. He requoted my job, saying there were 10 extra windows and there was a charge for removing the screens. The new "charge" was almost double the original bill. When I said I would skip the garage and apartment, so that the number of windows was the original amount and that I would pay the screen removal fee, he balked and called the company saying he wouldn't do the job for that fee. What a rip! I lost the day from work and have out of town guests coming, but no clean windows. Just do not get involved with this company, as they do not have their own employees just hire out and then do not honor their prices. read more
