My name is Joel Escobar,   I signed up for the basics and the advanced buffing class, and the experience was incredible. Learned so much more about detailing a car from washing an engine to polishing a carbon hood to absolute perfection. My knowledge of washing cars was pure videos and trial and error but in this class they really put things into perspective on how to handle a vehicle and really take the time and effort to reach the best possible outcome on detail your ride. Our instructor Jackie made the class easy and fun to understand. Thanks to the Detail Garage Team for a memorable experience. I definitely recommend the class to anyone beginner to advance to give these classes a try . read more

Don't ever buy a gift card here. I've been here over the years and easily spent over $1000 just in air fresheners for my wife. I've never had a problem, and would gladly recommend anyone here. I had a gift card with a large balance given to me for Christmas a few years back to this place. Since there was no expiration date, I sat on it. About a week ago I went in to use it. To my surprise, I was told they no longer use these gift cards. They had no way to access the card information. They refused to honor it, or give me any other option but to leave. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I won't throw it away. Currently looking into what I can do to get the money my family spent back by other means. Enjoy the free money guys, my family appreciates it. read more

1st time lots of good info from the guys in the shop. I'd recommend going into the shop vs online to talk with the guys

I felt that the staff was knowledgeable and was more interested in meeting my needs than increasing sales to a higher level. it would be nice if items had price tags. Detail Garage is a subsidiary company to Chemical Guys, and, as such, only sell Chemical Guys product. It's pretty much the complete line of CG products. Products are on shelves and not Walmart lock cases. No Walmart employee rhetoric to listen to regarding the high cost of theft, no appointed Walmart key person to wait 15 minutes for. Going to a place like this can cause you to spend less money, because you can pinpoint your needs better and get only what you need. Good experience. read more

Hello yelp family. My name is James Lerma and I want to give my good friend Jackie from the chemical guys a shot out. We just had our polishing class this weekend, Jackie gave us a lot of good information and hands on training. The quality of training and the chemicals he has to offer will launch us out into success. There was great people also on the team, shots goes out to Elsie and my boy Nick who also to the course. The chemical guys are family and you can always come through and ask any questions. I recommend anyone to come down and take some classes. They will show you how to have you own business, trust me one skill leads to another. read more

Been watching detail videos for a minute now and decided it was time to start taking care of my car. I walked in and was promptly greeted with a friendly associate. Highly Recommend these guys! Went in because I had swirls on my custom metallic paint job, (forgot dudes name) but he was super knowledgeable and hella helpful. He recommended the same products he used on his car with a very similar paint. Left there dropping less than $150 on two bottles of wax, a couple packs of foam applicators and towels (All Chemical Bros brand) came home and followed his directions...my car never looked better!!! Mind you, had one guy somewhere else suggest I do a complete paint job, another guy quoted me damn near a G to wax with a machine. Love this place and will be back. read more

First time buyer and honestly new to detailing my own vehicles. Daniel was there and helped me out, didn't push product but asked what my needs were (he obviously knows best) but I was hesitant at first and he let me shop around. Came by to check in on me and I admitted there was a lot to this and if he could point me in the right direction. Walked away with an intro to the detailing world and I'm glad it was with this store. Super cool vibe and seemed to welcome families. Thanks guys! read more

Great service the guys they were very knowledgeable and they had everything I was looking for

This was my first time coming to this location and it definitely won't be my last. I was assisted by Andre and it was like connecting with an old friend. I was nervous coming in because sometimes women aren't taken seriously in "guy"stores but it was the complete opposite here. I felt comfortable asking questions and was treated with utmost respect and kindness. Andre showed me first hand how to use several products and let me try the techniques as well. You are not rushed or pressured and they are available for your questions and concerns. The selection is great, the service is awesome and you're not treated like just another "number". Keep up the excellent work!!! read more

Great shop. Owner is honest and truly cares about doing a good job. This place is a throwback to how service used to be and he does an amazing job with his repair work. Brought in a large scratch this summer and been bringing him work ever since. No one wants to have to go to a body repair shop, but if you end up needing one you'll be glad you went here. read more

Went in on a Sunday; Short hours (9a-3p), but this is really convenient, because no other specialty shops are open on Sunday. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful, and happy to answer all of our questions. Went in to purchase a polisher, and they were happy to let me try them. They have a decent selection of quality machines from Torq to Rupes, so you'll find something that fits your budget. I ended up picking up the new Rupes 21 MkII -- it's great to see a local store carrying high-end products to try and buy, without having to go online. Pricing is identical to the chemicalguys website, so you don't have to fuss with wondering if you're getting the best price. All website deals also appear to be available, but ask the staff first. Huge selection of products -- waxes, soap, tools/brushes/buckets/mitts/towels -- they'll very likely have anything you'd need from hobbyist to professional. read more

I will start this review off by saying this has nothing to do with the chemical guys products. From what I have seen and used they are great, this is strictly related to my experience with management and how they dealt with an unhappy customer. Several weeks ago i purchased a new boat and motorhome. Wanting to take care of my investment I stopped in to grab some products for those vehicles as well as my Harley and 4 household cars, I believe I spent about 250 that day. One of the products I bought was a ceramic coating for about 110 dollars that I intended to apply to the motorhome. Fast forward 3 weeks and the more I look at the rv the less I trust my skill to apply the coating so today I went in to make a return and buy other products that may be a bit more user friendly. After walking in and letting them know I wanted to make a return the young man at the front told me to look for anything else I would want and he called his boss to ask how to proceed. As I was walking the store he came back and told me his boss said i would only be able to receive store credit. I asked him to call his boss back because i was starting to get bothered at that I couldn't have my money back even though I had followed their return policy. Boss got on the phone and after insisting I wanted cash back he told me there would be a 15% restocking fee and he was required to charge me because it was corporates rules and not his. I went on to remind him that the receipt say a restock fee "may" be applied not "will"be applied. He kept on insisting he had to because corporate mandated it at which point I reminded him he is a franchise not a corporate store. As a small business owner I understand the purpose of a restock fee, the item I returned was the size of an advil bottle and went into the display case 18 inches from the register and returned at a time when there was 2 employees sitting at the desk and no other customers in the store. From a business owner standpoint This was not the time to try and press the issue but to each their own. This message is to the owner or manager I spoke with today; this was not a matter of money, had I not been told I couldn't have my money back I would have gladly spent it all and kept coming back for more. I truly hope the $8.89 you kept to "restock" the item was worth it because you failed at customer service and lost a customer that truly liked your store. At a time when brick and mortars struggle to stay afloat you just sent somebody with a fair share of disposable income back to amazon. Thanks goodness for prime! read more

I came in for the 3rd time to pick up a few things. As somebody still relatively new to car care, seeing a familiar and friendly face today really is an added bonus to this place. From the the first time coming in, Alan has helped recommend products and help me understand how to use each product (often times without even asking) coming today and knowing I have a shop that's decent priced, with great products, and employees like Alan that will take the time to really help me out. Even as somebody pretty new to this, I can recognize and appreciate above and beyond customer service and that is, without a question, exactly what I got from Alan. Definitely recommend to anyone and am impressed by the products and the customer service. read more
