She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! She did tell me they would be here the next morning between 7-8 am I am still waiting for them but when I called her to ask if there was an eta she blew up on me, was Cussing me out and Hung up on me, Again this was all caught on camera, when I told her I am leaving a review. Not only do the new windows look sleek and modern, but the entire process was top-notch from start to finish. What really stood out to us was their honesty. While other companies tried to sell us on full-frame replacements, SHS actually advised us to go with insert replacements. They pointed out that our house has high-density older wood framing that was worth preserving. Following their advice preserved the character and strength of our home while saving us a significant amount of money. Their communication was excellent throughout the project, and the installation crew was fantastic: punctual, respectful, and meticulous about keeping the worksite clean. On top of that, their guarantee is rock-solid. I feel completely confident that this was a lifelong investment and that they will stand by their work if anything ever comes up down the road. If you're looking for high-quality window replacement with an honest team you can trust, highly recommend Scientific Home Services.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

Chris didn't do any of that and it was a much less time consuming, no nonsense appointment. The work started when promised and his workers were respectful of our house and provided phenomenal quality work. I am so happy we chose Chris for this large project. I would highly recommend E V Windows for all your window needs!

They came out to measure everything we needed, quoted us on what we wanted and a few other optional windows as well since we were debating on doing everything at once. After selecting the quote for the windows we wanted to get done, a down payment was made and the windows were ordered. They came in a few weeks later and two of their team members came out to install them in the morning. Everything was done quickly and professionally with care. After the install, I had a question about one of the windows since it looked like there was a small crack at the top corner and they sent someone out to look at it right away. It turned out it was just some glue residue that was attached on the inside of the window that made it look like a crack and was easly scraped off with a razor blade. I definitley recommend using Semko as they provided a very reliable service and also beat out many other window companies with their competitive pricing.

We ordered new doors for our house including a new front door. Following installation, the front door was snapping and popping when the sun hit it, and started to fade and paint was flecking off. We called to have it replaced because it was under warranty. They replaced it with a door that looked worse. You could see the unpainted inside window trim thru the windows. We went back and forth, requesting our money back, but we were not able to make any progress other than they would order a new door for us. This took months, many phone calls with service and general manager. Finally they said they had 2 doors for us, and that we could pick. It's not lost on us that if we picked between the 2 doors, that then they could come back to us and say, "you picked it". One of the doors had sand inside the windows-clumps of sand. The other one looked better, but it was obvious that it was the first door that we had returned, just painted. We were done! This company has gone down hill since we ordered from them back in 2020. Avoid them at all costs. They are sneaky and don't have good customer service. Nor do they have effective management.

The windows were leaking to the point that it was taped. Basically, all he did was unstick the window and nothing else. I pointed out the tape and he said he hadn't noticed it. That's his job. He went back and caulked the edge of one window. For this we paid $450. My neighbor went to look at the work and was appalled. I was embarrassed. We feel completely ripped off.
