Bought a truck from them and the next morning noticed a drip spot under it, but I figured a used…read morecar has minor leaks I'll keep an eye on the fluids, that small drip 2 day later turned into low Trans fluid then quickly into no reverse. They were kind enough to take it in and find a Trans for it. They felt that even though I paid for the vehicle and less than a week later it had no Trans it was still somehow partially my fault and split the cost 50/50. Ok fine burned me, I'll live problem is everytime I call I get passed around and as their finance guy put it "everyone is passing the buck" it's been over 2 months now 1 month of that was waiting for them to even tell me what they were going to do about the piece o crap lemon they sold me half the second mo the was waiting for them to actually do anything about it an now I'm waiting to find out if they could work with me on a payment plan of some sort seeing as how the job I had required me to have a car so they had to pass my work to someone else and I get minor jobs when I can catch rides. Money is tight and seeing as how they had to have known there were issues with that car and still sold it I would think a reputable company would want to take care of the problem or at least get it taken care of quickly and quietly, instead of producing a review of there shady business of selling used cars with existing major problems. When I walk onto that lot I had my whole family, wife and 3 kids, I explained I needed a reliable car to get to my new job and had a very tight budget. The mistake I made was a looking myself to believe that a salesman was anything more than a thief and a lier. He assured me that this car was used but in good shape, he pushed hard to get it out the door fast and made it seem like he was helping me. But 3000 for a car that only lived in my driveway for 5 days then sat without reverse for a couple days and now resides in their mechanics lot is not a good deal. And the fact they can't even contact me to say anything, I have to chase them down. I can't recommend this as a place to buy a car. Stay far away from this place Craigslist would be a better option, hell the dump would probably provide u a more reliable purchase than I got. At this point I'd much prefer to just have my money back but I can't imagine they would agree to that they can't even tell me if I can make payments, hell they have never ever given me a straight answer on what they want me to pay for the work. Need a car go somewhere else, anywhere else.

I have been taking all my cars to and trucks to Silver Lake Auto Body for over 20 years and was…read morealways happy. Recently my truck with 20,000 miles was hit while it was parked by some dumb old man. He had USAA Insurance. My truck was fixed with all used and aftermarket crap parts including the Alloy wheel that looked like junk yard quality. I expected this truck to look as good or better to what it did before accident. I do not know what has happened there but I should have walked away when I asked where all the workers were and was given some Covid excuse. The place used to be busy. It looked like a ghost town. Now, lets talk about the paint.........$50,000 Truck but treated like your kids $2,000 car. There was lint and debris in the front fender paint and overspray in between door and body. The minute you opened door you knew it was in accident. The front fender also did not line up correctly due to inferior parts used. I also asked the owner if Bondo was used and he said, "Well, I had to use a little". I bought this Truck for my retirement and it was fully paid for. Due to Silver Lakes butcher job, I decided I could not live with it and traded it in for much lesser vehicle because I did not want payments. I lost about $15,000 due to this incident and Hack job of a repair. Silver Lake Auto Body lost a life long customer and I will spread the word about their drastic decline in work quality!
