So I use to go to Shila for my brows about 6yrs ago when she worked for another employer whom should remain nameless. Once she left the company I had a hard time finding someone to get my brows how I wanted. Went in with bushy eyebrows came out half way decent. I have thick hair so if you pull out one wrong hair you will make a gap. I am very particular with my eyebrows, getting them threaded for 5 yrs. Moved from Cali and found this place never going back. They said i had a gap...really? ?!! It wasn't shila that did my eyebrows but still not going back. Poor customer service. Got a full face threading Monday and made this mistake of not waiting for Shila. I was in somewhat of a hurry and she had 4 people waiting for her at 11:00 am. So I went to the other girl, didn't catch her name, and instantly regretted it. I've never had such a painful threading in my life. As she went around my face she continually pulled hair from my scalp and hairline. Besides this the actual threading was so painful! So imagine my surprise when I got into my car and saw that my face was still completely hairy. She didn't properly thread my face and the hair was cut. So now I have short hair all over my face instead of long, and my eyebrows are butchered. One is very tiny one is very full. I wanted to cry. I've been numerous times before and Shila has always done a fantastic job. I just wish they took appointments because I don't always have an hour or more to sit and wait. read more

If i could give a zero star i would. This place is not clear with eyelash extensions. The way they do it is not professional. It looks like falsies once applied. The glue was thick and bulgy. It did not look cute. Also, it seems like she was rushing it. I feel like this place needs to add pictures of what they do and how they do. The staff here are all so friendly and cute. They get really busy in the evening right when everyone is heading home from work, but I've never minded waiting. I've never had a bad job from them, but then again I don't think I'm very particular about my eyebrows - I just want them to look neatly groomed. I've also had my arms waxed as it was recommended for a photo shoot I was doing and the wax was only $35. I don't see how you can mess up arm waxing, and they didn't, so that's good. read more

Before I had my eyebrows done, I had been growing my brows for about a year. Keep in mind that I have sparse/ light colored brows and if I over pluck, it'll look like I won't have any eyebrows. Before I went to get my brows threaded, it looked fairly thick. Unfortunately, the woman I had made my eyebrows too thin, it almost looked like my brow weren't there and the ends of my brows had gaps without hair. I've had many bad experiences and they were able to not only fix my eyebrows but have done an outstanding clean up every time. I came back here and I will never come back again. I grew out my eyebrows for almost 2 months before I decided to treat myself and get them done at Shila's for an occasion. They are absolutely ruined and I'll have to draw them in for a few weeks now. They are miles apart, not remotely the same shape and one is higher than the other. I made the mistake of not waiting for Shila. I had already been waiting for 10 minutes and decided to go with the other threader who had just walked in. Quite disappointed. My wait was 45-50 minutes. When I came up to look at the sign in sheet to see why girls who came in much later than I did were being called, one of the ladies working came up to see and I pointed to where my name was... She simply said, "oh, you're next.. You must have not heard your name".... I was sitting right there... It was impossible for me not to hear my name. I probably should have just took my loss in time and left but decided to stay to get my eyebrows done... They are not symmetrical and I could have done a better job with tweezers. I was in Las Vegas for fun and decided I should get my eyebrows threaded. I normally do not go because mine are pretty thin and I can keep them looking nice. However, I had not done any upkeep and decided that I would just continue to let them grow until being in Vegas. I used yelp to find this place & was not disappointed. It was very quick & was done well. Something new for me was the use of rose water on my eyebrows after the threading was complete. This was really soothing & felt very nice.
