I am so glad I called AutoGlass Discounters next. I called them, they answered immediately,and then we made an appointment for a day later, fitting with my availability. They gave me a quote on the spot for my Honda Civic's rear quarter panel replacement and checked to see they had it in stock. They let me know they'd meet me at my house. The day of the appointment, they called me to say they could come earlier to my house if I wanted, which was great, though I kept the original time due to my availability. The repairperson Thomas was very prompt, very polite and professional. He easily found the meeting spot I asked him to meet me at. It was a very hot summer day, and we were in the dead of the sun, but Thomas made it go by easy by being so well-natured and making me laugh. He fixed the quarter panel and reassembled everything back together again and vacuumed out the broken glass from the back of my car. First, Gerber said we had to wait a week to bring the car in, then they told us we had to wait on the estimate, then we had to wait some more, then we had to call into the shop only to be told that ultimately they will not fix our vehicle. They stated they "could" fix our car they just "don't know when" because our car was damaged! It's their job to fix cars that were in a collision! Horrible service! I'd rather give no stars!!!

The wait for an appointment was reasonable even with CV19. The price was good. The techs came to…read morethe job site as promised and the installation was solid. Cleanup and finished detailing left something to be desired. There was grit and pieces of old gasket from the old window removal inside the cab, dirty hand prints on the door exteriors, some adhesive on the inside driver window and outside passenger side verticle window frame that was not cleaned up. If the cleanup had been complete this would have been a 5 star review. I sent an email about the cleaning issues but have not gotten a response as of yet. UPDATE: Rich from Defender contacted me first thing this morning and apologized then offered to send out a tech today to finish up a 10 minute cleanup. I own a home remodeling company and in my opinion you can't do much better than that! Issues inevitably come up from time to time and when it is addressed like Rich did that's a sign of a stand up business! Thanks Rich and Debbie for a great job!
