I always get the $10 ultra wash for my mini-van and one sticking point is the "forever" dirty tail gate. UGH! Ultra Shine gets the whole vehicle clean but the big bonus, something the others don't accomplish, is the tailgate is virtually dirt free. When you lift the tailgate the inner portion of the bumper is also clean! WOW!! Price, value and a superior wash! And....glide slowly through the auto-dry blower and drive away dry and spotless. I can drive home, pull into my garage and wax away, the washing is complete.

With this in mind, I have tried to be trusting and loyal to a particular, major auto repair shop in the area. I come from a small town--you know who to trust and who will do right by you. Youngstown isn't a "small town," at least not where I come from. It is difficult to know who to trust here. When you own an old vehicle, are on a budget and still realize that there is a need to leave room for car repairs--it means a lot to be able to trust people with your car. When you go to a large, commercial shop hoping that loyalty might mean something and excuse you from being taken advantage of, especially as a female--you hope that you can rely on these men to be straight with you. Not jerk you around because they can and because you have a balance on the charge card you felt blessed to have to cover extraordinary charges that come along with owning an old vehicle. FYI, ladies: Don't trust everywhere you go. These guys at Pep Boys have been kind, understanding, accommodating and empathetic. They haven't neglected to help me and shoot me straight. For that, I am grateful to these guys. I'm done with Midas seriously don't even care about any "warranties" on work I have had there. They have done me wrong too many times and I'm not spending another minute in that disgusting waiting room. Thanks to Adam, Eric and any others at Pep Boys for helping me when I've needed it most. However, the one young man that works there who wears a beret looking hat and drives an early 2000's silver Ford Taurus has an absolutely foul attitude. Every time I pull up and see him working I regret going because he looks and acts as if I'm inconveniencing him. He barely hoses down my car and never wipes it down with the brushes and does everything as fast as he can so he can go sit in his car until someone else comes. Other than that, it's a great car wash and every other employee properly wipes down my car every time I go through.

My vehicle was involved in a minor collision involving the left fender and front bumper. Upon…read morepicking up the vehicle, I advised the owner of the facility (Joel) of the poor fit of the bumper to fender. Joel advised this is how the bumper fits and there is nothing he could do. After driving the vehicle for a few weeks, the issue became worse. I returned to Paul's Collision Repair, where I was told to leave the vehicle and they would try to re-align the front bumper. I picked the vehicle up a second time and the alignment was no better. I have had another collision repair facility look at the vehicle where they advised the front bumper tabs were broken and were glued and taped. They literally advised that "your bumper is being held on by adhesive tape." Joel has not been willing to remedy the situation and is very unprofessional and rude at every interaction. This has been, by far, the worst interaction I have had with a vehicle repair facility. Would highly advise against this repair facility.
