Matthew came and looked at it and recommended a pressure treated fence to match the rest of the deck. He looked closely at it, took pictures and did an absolutely beautiful job. I was delighted by my experience with Major Home Improvement, and I want to share how impressed I…read moream with their quality and efficiency. From the very beginning, the process was clear and reassuring. Quote Process: We started by seeking multiple quotes for our home renovation. I personally reached out to 15 companies in our area for the job, which included replacing our roof, gutters, siding, windows, and doors. Tom Smith from Major Home Improvement visited us and provided a detailed presentation of materials and options with no pressure or aggressive sales tactics. Of the 15 companies, eight refused to provide written quotes, four offered written quotes lacking detail, and three provided thorough information on products, costs, and timelines. After careful research, Major Home Improvement stood out for their reputation and the quality of their products, ultimately tipping the scale in their favor. Installation Team: Once we decided to move forward, Tanya from the office staff was very kind and courteous, efficiently scheduling every aspect of the project. The installation team--Philip, Edwin, Ivan, and field supervisor Mark--all performed exceptionally. Philip and Edwin, in particular, worked tirelessly and demonstrated strong dedication, ensuring the area around our house was spotless at the end of each day. Ivan and his team handled the doors and windows with impressive attention to detail, taking extra time to guarantee everything was perfect. Mark visited the site several times, making sure the project was running smoothly and promptly answering any questions I had. Final Outcome: The entire experience was a pleasure, marked by clear communication, hard-working staff, and outstanding results. One memorable moment was watching Philip and Edwin work late into the evening just to leave our property clean and safe--a gesture that truly made an impression. Thank you, Tom and the crew, for your dedication throughout the project. Without question, if I had to do this job all over again, I would absolutely choose Major Home Improvement. Their professionalism, quality, and commitment to customer satisfaction made the entire process stress-free and rewarding. I highly encourage anyone considering home renovations to trust Major Home Improvement for exceptional service from start to finish.

Beautiful Landscaping & Construction was contracted by a remediation company to come in and put the…read morepieces back together after a multilevel flood in my home. The project manager said that Anthony had done good work in the past and was confident in his skill level. But it got to a point where I wouldn't allow his crew to return. The owner of the restoration company asked if I would give Anthony a second chance to come in and complete the tile work. The bathroom floor was straightforward and came out good. But the kitchen was a bit more complex and about 1/4 needs to be torn out. I actually had to explain edging and bullnose tile to him. The pictures are just a small representation of what they considered to be finished work...they had packed up and removed their equipment. I was speechless. There was wall paint all over my cabinets and molding, molding paint all over the ceiling and walls, and gobs of joint compound. The demo crew set up a plastic containment barrier. When it was removed, Anthony's crew painted over the adhesive residue left from the tape. A breakfast nook escaped damage except for a 6-8 inch stain on the ceiling. Instead of using stain blocker, the crew slapped joint compound on the stain and painted over it without sanding. In addition to being sloppy, they clearly do not have the skill to work in old homes. Additionally, they took down the motion sensor to the security system, lost half of the unit, and hung up what was remaining. No one recalls touching it - that's a $350 replacement and installation cost. They also covered my Corian sink in paint, lost the paint covered garbage disposal stopper, used my mop bucket and left it behind covered in crap, and let tons of construction debris pile up in a pantry sink that has 114 year old pipes. The restoration company had their demo guys come in to try and clean up the mess, but unfortunately the ceilings need major remediation and I have to hire someone else to come in to clean up the poor caulking and painting. Work time was already extended at least 1 week because of mistakes and sloppiness. I got the distinct impression that Anthony was juggling a lot. Judging from the reviews, he should drop construction from his business model and focus on the landscaping.
