We were referred to RTC by our painter, himself an amazing professional and person (good contractors often run in the same circles). We originally planned on bidding our project out but, on our painter's recommendation and after one meeting with Mike Regan, we felt very comfortable and decided not to consider anyone else for the job. It took us quite a few months and several meetings with Mike to determine our new deck design, but he was accommodating, patient and responsive the whole time (keep in mind that we hadn't paid him a cent yet). We never felt pressured as he offered good advice while working with our preferences. He started work when he said he would and his crew was on-site over the course of two weeks, early each morning like clockwork and on-site for the full day. Finally, all his crew members were friendly and respectful, working well together at all times. We hired Mike Regan and his team from Regan Total Construction to build a 350-square foot addition (bedroom, full bath and walk-in closet), plus a 320-square foot deck to better connect the addition to the existing house. Mike's team also needed to do extensive work on an adjoining room to make it all work (including a magnificent skylight being installed), as well as some fairly tricky work on the existing roof. Regan Total Construction just removed our old deck and rebuilt it into an enclosed deck and screened porch. We could not be happier with the finished product and the service that they provided. We just had Regan Total Construction replace our 50-year old wooden deck with a TREX deck. The project was quite complex as there is a roof over the deck structure which had to be supported while the old deck was removed and the new deck installed. Mike Regan and team replaced a large two tier deck.  Original deck was damaged by wind/tree.  Mike is expert in working with insurance companies to ensure claim payout is appropriate.  He's also great at working with you on material choices and design options.  Offers great ideas but also listens to yours.
