One success deserves recognition: the contractor did a good job matching the existing sand-finished wall texture. Overall, however, their approach seemed to favor "the way we've always done things" over following the supplied plans and specifications. The final error involved a change-order request. The contractor failed to respond appropriately to the request and sent crews to perform work with an incorrect scope. After the accumulated errors and this final issue, the project was terminated. Based on our experience, Close supervision of this contractor is required if a project is to be completed in accordance with plans and specifications.

I'd conquered the second floor and began working on the first when I took a good, hard look at the staircase and thought, Ya know, I bet if I tried to tackle those bad boys, it would be a total disaster. Joe answered while he was eating lunch, said he'd get right back to me, and the next day he came to survey the job. In this housing boom era, most business owners like Joe have more than enough work lined up. He charged a premium price, but the work he and his carpenter, Andres, ended up doing made the home look fantastic. They were on the job immediately, delayed only briefly due to Rona, and they cleaned up their mess. They even helped me with some tips and tricks which were crucial to the installation I was doing. Helpful, friendly and efficient, go with Joe.

Instead of sending David, Lester subcontracted out the job to a crew that told me they had never actually met Lester in person. Lester had initially stated that he would include painting if I provided the paint. When I asked Lester about the painting after the repair had been made he incorrectly stated that the reason that they had not painted was that I never provided paint to the crew. This was not true. He also told me that I needed to "Read the messages!!" referring to our previous text exchange and work agreement. Once I sent a screenshot of our previous conversation to refresh Lester's memory and told him that I had provided the paint to the crew and discussed it with them, he said he would call me later to reschedule the paint job. I never heard from him again. Fortunately, I was able to contact the crew that was subcontracted to finish the job with them directly. I wouldn't recommend using Lester. I had 2 different companies come out and look at the repair and they both said that it was a poor job and recommended removing the texture and redoing it. I attempted to follow-up with Lester and he won't respond to my messages

I had tile and carpet, part of which was over my partial basement that added a couple of complications where one part of my addition wasn't even with the original house. Irving and Juan removed them without damage, numbered each one and reinstalled them. They were wonderful I can't say enough good things about them.
