This is my fifth home and I have had several products installed by Home Depot and Lowe's. This is only the second time that I've ever had to escalate an issue. However, their ability to resolve problems or even provide feedback is limited at best. In the future, I will frequent Lowe's or use a Home Depot in another area. There's no reason a Home Depot should be rated at 2.0 as a corporate store.

She knows her product line, is meticulous and imaginative, and willing to listen to the customer and work out a just-right solution. Judith helped us identify the right solar shades for our windows and size them correctly. She custom designed a room-darkening shade solution for our bedrooms that left our mini-blinds intact (so that we could have the privacy from blinds during the day and the sleep-inducing darkness of opaque shades at night), but retains a streamlined look. I cannot recommend her and Monarch more highly.

He came to the site and texted me the next day with an estimate of $4,050, which we later agree in a final quote of $3,700 claiming to give me a "Military discount." I made a mistake of letting Jermaine Holland know that I was scammed by a contractor that supposed to do the patio before, and he pretended to be different... vouched that his company is not a scam. He stated that he will make sure that he (Jermaine Holland) builds my trust in black-owned small businesses again. I fell for it. He asked for $3000 upfront for materials, which I gave to him. After two weeks of asking him when the project will start, he finally answered my call with a yell on the phone, blaming me that it is because I did not give him his remaining amount ($700), that was the reason why the project hasn't started. I was calm and patient all the while because I did not want any uglier incident, and I sent him the remaining $700 that day (February 1, 2023). Jermaine Holland still did not let me know when the project will commence. I became worried. Jermaine Holland is very disrespectful, unprofessional, and insulting. He will send me video calls without notification or asking for permission. He will also come to my property without my knowledge, but I get to know through the camera I installed on the property. He refused to give a start date of the project and will yell at me whenever I asked him for the start date. Jermaine Holland is a racist and has made a racial slur severally when talking to customer and he did it to me as well. Jermaine Holland told me to go back to my Country and ask for the start date of my patio project. He now told me not to send him any more messages as he is not owing me anything... and this is after paying him $3700. He did not do the project neither did he refund my money. No one should be put in this kind of wicked situation. Please, stay away from this company.

I also wanted the wood trim around the garage door, first and second floor windows, a large colonial window above the entrance, the front door and windows, and all facia boards repainted. I received four estimates, but only three did site visits. Three of the estimates were over $4,000. My house was built in 1993. I've had the front soft washed and repainted three times since then. Each time the price was a little higher, but no where close to $4,000. Liberty Painting's price was very reasonable and no where near $4,000. We scheduled the work for the following week. Two painters arrived on time. We discussed the scope of work, which included soft washing the wood. They were both very friendly and did excellent work. They cleaned up the work area as promised. I am completely satisfied with the results. Before, during, and after the project communication was great. They did everything promised. I highly recommend Liberty Painting.

It was easy-peasy working withe him, we chose the paint color, and he did all the rest, buying the paint, etc. Painting is just not rolling paint on the wall, but also attention to trimmings, baseboards, and doors, in addition to prepping the walls very nicely and painting straight edges (line between trim and walls). Devil is in the details. He was very reliable and well-priced. The workmanship was very well done. He did the job done in a week, which was what we needed, and house is three levels.

We were even having new appliances delivered while he was working and although they were supposed to come with installation, the people that were sent to perform the install were hopeless and full of one excuse after the next. I turned to Miguel and he said, of course, I can take care of all of it, and he did. He even helped me out by taking my old refrigerator in his van to our new house to put in our basement. She spent about an hour with me and didn't give me any push back when I wanted to go home and measure and think more. I came back the next day with my husband and texted her before I arrived so that I could meet up with her again. Little did I know that she actually came in on her day off to help me!! She showed us both the couches on our list again and after struggling between two that we liked but each having different pros/cons, she showed us one that was slightly more than the budget I gave and it checked every single one of our boxes. She was straight forwarded and not pushy at all. The process was absolutely incredibly easy and I highly recommend visiting Mary David if you're looking for any furniture!!!
