I had a most disagreeable experience at this store yesterday, October 30, 2014. I had bought…read morearound $1000 worth of paint in the last few days and I called ahead to get the store to mix up some more paint to finish the job. My painters were waiting at the job site to get the paint. A woman who eventually identified herself as "The Manager" provided me some of the worst customer service I have ever had from a retail store in many years. Her name is Aliza Aldatzi and she was rude, curt, arrogant and just totally lacking in customer service skill. In the past experiences at this store I have never seen her and my orders were taken by "Johnny". I buy a lot of paint as I remodel homes but I will make sure I avoid this Vista Paint store because who needs more bad service in their lives?

So if you're getting lumber it's in the back and you load your car with it. There should be a few…read morepeople in the back on a busy day. When you're done with the wood, someone is usually watching you and they know when you're done usually. Or you can just let them know you're done and you want your form with the wood you got counted. Then you drive back out and park your car to pay inside. Then when you leave that parking lot, you give the guy in the shack your form and the receipt. Then he recounts your wood again. Then the little arm lifts up and you're out. You can rent a lot of tools inside but it's a bit expensive if you rent it for a long time. Might as well buy the tool and resell it on marketplace at that point. There's some drop in showers you can buy here. Also some sink options. There's a bathroom inside if you need to go.

Drive in back and tell Guys what you're looking for. You park right next to shelves of wood. Everyone was very helpful. I was given directions by clerk inside store. Then Employee walking into work, explained to me on his way in, that I needed to get in car, drive over to first driveway and then drive in back. 3 different Guys in back helped me. One even walked in front of my car to direct me from 2x2 wood in front to redwood 2x2. He was also one that directed me to other lumbar yard that does milling. You can't get that kind of attention and help at Big Box Stores! I need the board I'm replacing mitered on one end. They don't do that but directed me to, Builder's First Source. on Thompson l. They sell wood and do milling, so can cut it for me. But they're only open Monday to Sunday.

They even have a Garden section! Associate Nick was quick to greet me and show me what I'd missed, the frozen pies!! What!!?? The BBQ dry rubs and marinates!! This place has it all. The staff here was so attentive and friendly it made it easy to shop around. For a female it can be intimidating attempting going to a hardware store. At checkout Sydney helped me sign up for their rewards program, I will definitely be coming back. I'd rather come here than those big wherehouse hardware stores! You can never find anyone to help you there and being lost seems to be par for the course.
