The reasonable price of this paint kept our job within budget without sacrificing quality. A year latter we did some remodeling and needed to touch up. We asked the guys at Southwestern to try to match the color. Their first mix was close but it was easy to see where I touched up. They mixed a second gallon at no cost and this one matched the walls perfectly. That's great customer service. Also, no charge to assess and shake my "old" cans of paint. Must be a Dunn-Edwards thing! One of the people was the manager in charge (an assistant manager). All of them completed their business with no effort to obtain or wear a mask, and this on a day we're setting new records in the pandemic. The manager lacked a spine. I spoke with him, asked him why he is failing to enforce a posted policy, and he said people are really angry right now. Frankly, if the same people who are going to rallies without masks are in his store and he's too timid to speak up, this place is simply unsafe. If you have a coworker whose deodorant is failing, that's the time for tact. But this is not a time for a manager who can't draw the line. Something as simple as a handwritten sign on the door, "NO ENTRY WITHOUT MASK", would take care of this issue. And if someone enters without one, decline entry. You can't go to Costco without a mask. No one is angry about it in the store. They can't smoke inside the store. Well, maybe with this manager they can. If you are clear you will not have pushback. Wimpy enforcement leads to arguments. Try to enter a hospital without a mask. You'll see competent enforcement and willing compliance. I waited for them to bring my paint to the car (I refused to wait indoors with these issues) and in that time 2 more customers entered and shopped with no masks. That's the reason for a one star review. The store is not a safe shopping experience. I would give it 3 stars for a retail customer otherwise. They charge retail customers much higher prices than the contractors, making it clear we don't really rate much with them. If I were a contractor and there was not a pandemic, then I'd rate them 5 stars. The contractors get fair pricing and good products. But for everyone, unsafe is simply unsafe. Even though I was overwhelmed with jumbled thoughts on color schemes, Dawne listened to my ideas and asked insightful questions. Based on the information I presented, she created the "vision and feel" for my home that I wanted: beautiful,  welcoming, and a respite from busy days. Coverage was terrible, it showed streaks where you would think this paint would blend in. NOPE. NADA. ZILCH. I used same nap size, stirred, shook.... I had to repaint the entire wall so that the touch ups would blend in. WOW. Save your $$... as much as I love the color choices of the SW pallet and Nate, the weekend rep, I am highly disappointed in the overall products I paid good money for. // I see that a SW rep is contacting me and am happy to assist. Revamp. Lessons Learned from apparently first review. Weekend Customer Service: (5 Star) First time visiting and very happy I stopped by. While weekends at the box store paint shops are undermanned and bombarded, I was surprised that hardly anyone was at SW.
