Clearly a case of, "IF I KNEW then WHAT I KNOW now...??!!" But... to continue, I highly recommend you inform yourself ahead of time as to expectations for Budgeting, Contractor, Designer, etc!! After we visited 3-4 kitchen designers ( including Asbury), I was amazed that all of them viewed the "space" in the exact same manner. Each one offered to create a peninsula style kitchen, placed the appliances in the exact same spot, etc. After WE decided we really wanted a Center Island, we asked each designer to RE-think the kitchen from this perspective. We selected Asbury because Dottie was most enthusiastic to embrace this new request and she also found ways to make it work, within our "square footage". She was very visual and we worked well bouncing ideas off of each other. She is creative and has a very expert team working with her. I would highly recommend USING her team to install your cabinetry since it's seamless and gives her full ability to assure a great install. In the end we used our own private contractors and there were communication issues, not due to any mis step on Asbury Kitchen's side. I'm extremely pleased with my kitchen!! Our cabinets are great quality ( mouser) and the colors ( I chose blue for center island and white for perimeter) !! Dottie and her team also contracted the countertops and they were professional in their installation. It all came together beautifully!! Dottie and her team also designed our laundry room and we are very pleased with how both kitchen & laundry room have turned out.

Trust me, if you want a great product, real service and an affordable price, drive to Philly and visit A&C kitchen and bath instead. These Mouser cabinets we were sold cost twice as much and the paint started chipping within the first year. When I called Asbury for a touch up kit, (which every other cabinet manufacturer I've ever dealt with usually supplies free) they told me to go to the paint store and match the color. Totally pissed we strayed from the best and got screwed over. I guess the old saying "buyer beware" was meant for situations like ours.

Expensive beyond reason, dishonest and incredibly rude…read more My experience: 1) Fluctuating pricing 2) Misrepresentation of availability and service 3) Extraordinarily rude management when they refused to deliver on their promises. The backstory: We went to the store in Mid July to schedule shrink wrap service right after Labor Day. Was assured it would be no problem but would need to call after 8/19 to schedule. We even looked at a calendar upstairs and the store associate assured me an appointment would be easy to get because most folks don't schedule until late September or October. This was a great reassurance as we need to leave right after Labor Day for back-to-school. After an onsite consultation where I tipped the guys $20 each on a hot day, I was told by the store the estimate I received was not necessarily accurate and they would not have pricing for a few weeks. Today, 8/20, I called to schedule the service and hear final price. The owner, Scott Fisher, was incredibly rude and told me they could not possibly get to me until after we leave the area for the summer. This was a date which we indicated at the beginning of the process. His reasoning was they have a sidewalk sale the weekend before. Also something they would have known about when we made the initial inquiry. Adding insult to injury, Mr. Fisher was constantly talking over me in a condescending manner and would not let me finish my sentence. I strongly suspect he would not have taken the same tone had it been my husband calling. His behavior was so appalling that I hung up the phone. I'm in shock at how this man would communicate to a long-time customer. Sincerely recommend True Value in CMCH as a more affordable and much more pleasant option.

The employees at the Rehoboth location really know their stuff. They have guided us with every single project we have tackled and we've had nothing but excellent results. We had one problem with the paint for the exterior of our house and they immediately fixed the problem to our satisfaction. I will not buy paint from anywhere other than Sherwin Williams. The store wouldn't honor the coupon for no other reason than "we don't honor these coupons." No other explanation--it was a legitimate coupon straight from Sherwin Williams, it hadn't expired, and the product I was purchasing was included on the coupon. I ended up buying the $48.99 ProBlock primer anyway because there were people behind me, I needed the product, and I was embarrassed to continue arguing. When I got home I called the corporate office and got the run-around in which they wanted to send me back to the store to buy a product. From now on I will get my SW products at Lowe's, where the price is much cheaper for SW products and they honor legitimate coupons.
