Returned all books promptly. Within days. Told that someone from the wallpaper dept had to be there to handle the refund, which my husband was assured would happen. Then forgot all about the bathroom/wallpaper project as anyone would with surgery, etc. Contacted JC L recently only to be told that my cash was theirs/gone. This is the only business unwilling to make any concession given these circumstances. As longtime (we're talking 3 generations!) Geneva residents, who choose to shop our local businesses vs. Amazon, etc., this is so very disappointing!

Mr Amison at the Aurora store knew return policies and courtesy to customers who are following the corporate return policies. I felt reassured that my shopping at the Aurora store was valued. Not so at the COUNTRYSIDE store, where aggressive nastiness is a norm and where the MANAGER decides the return policy. I will have Floor and Decor LAST on my list of places to shop, but if I do return, it will only be to the AURORA store.

Dean answered my questions about current decorating trends and assisted me in finding just what I needed to help me blend my aesthetic with potential resale value in a couple of years. The price was also better than I expected. My only two suggestions for improvement would be, 1) add signage to show there was floor tile in the center of the store. I saw the sign for "decorative floor tile" but did not realize there was other, less expensive, floor tile elsewhere in a separate area, and 2) have people on the floor ask customers if they need help. I was wandering in the wrong area and 4 different employees either stood talking to each other or were putting new samples on the wall who basically ignored me.

I had driven by Light Source Lighting in Plano many times and it was very eye catching from the road. I went in one day and was greeted by Eric Schaefer. I described our home and he showed me around the beautiful showroom then began pulling catalogs for fixtures he thought would fit our style. Once I began working with him, it quickly became my favorite part of building our home. I still love my lighting after all these years! Since our home, we have done several other, larger projects. I always look forward to the stage of picking out the lighting, it is my favorite part of the building/renovating process. I have never gone anywhere else besides Light Source Lighting and never will with future projects. Eric, and the other associates, are experts, knowing what catalogs to pull as I describe to them what I am looking for. I refer everyone I know who is looking for the perfect light fixtures, whether for one room or a large project, to Light Source Lighting. They have a huge range of styles so anyone can walk into their showroom and take advantage of their expertise to find just the right fixtures for any kind of project. I whole heartedly recommend Light Source Lighting!
