Every time she has come through for us with amazing color choices that really speak to us and what we are looking for. She is incredibly patient, genuinely listens to her clients, and is incredibly thorough in ways I would have never thought of. Holly is really passionate about color and loves educating her clients on it, which is super helpful to understand the color process and what to look for. On our last project Dora and Holly really went out of their way for me. I mean WAY above and beyond their job description, in the midst of me having a meltdown over our house renovation. I will never be able to thank them enough for their enormous patience in how they handled me and the situation. Between Holly's incredible talent for color and their unbelievable customer service, I am a customer for life!! If you are starting from scratch with an idea or testing your designer's color choices (I have been in both situations), Holly is the only color consultant you need to call. In regards to paint, if you are someone like me who suffers from migraines due to toxic fumes, etc., Aura is an amazing paint product. Yes, it is $89 a gallon, but you can sleep in the room your painting, with no fumes and no migraines. The paint itself is a dream to work with, even for paint dummies like my husband and I. If your budget will allow the cost, to me it's worth every penny!

Returned all books promptly. Within days. Told that someone from the wallpaper dept had to be there to handle the refund, which my husband was assured would happen. Then forgot all about the bathroom/wallpaper project as anyone would with surgery, etc. Contacted JC L recently only to be told that my cash was theirs/gone. This is the only business unwilling to make any concession given these circumstances. As longtime (we're talking 3 generations!) Geneva residents, who choose to shop our local businesses vs. Amazon, etc., this is so very disappointing!

The sticker shock scared me from buying two. So naturally I ran out and my poor wife ran back with the kids and dog. Ryan happily processed our payment over the phone and met my wife curbside. The product was amazing and worth the change. We only have 8.5 foot ceilings and I would say 90% of the paint literally dried to dust before hitting our basement floor. Worth it! First time shopping there and I felt valued. Bravo

They have a great array of products and stand behind what they sell. Referring to the pictures for this JC Licht store, only the last one that shows the storefront has anything to do with this store. All the other pictures are for marketing, and none of them are found in the store. But that said, this is a good store for paint and painting supplies. I look for great things from this outlet. I had need to get some Old Masters wiping stain and found what I wanted here. The customer service here was over the top. Even though I purchased just a small can of stain, they went to the trouble of spinning it so it was well blended...something that is not always offered at competitors. I will be back.

I want to thank Cynthia for an amazing job, her time and enthusiasm in helping me choose the right colors for multiple rooms in our recently rehabbed home. I had the vision but with hundreds of variations and all the other factors that go into choosing paint, doing it myself was daunting. Cynthia came in and helped me break it down quickly and create a cohesive palette that flows beautifully from room to room. I couldn't be happier. Super professional and nice, I cannot recommend Cynthia and this service enough. Well worth the nominal investment. I believe the service was around $50 and perhaps even less because a gift card was presented at the end to use toward the purchase of paint. Very reasonable. Great service!!!! Thank you Cynthia!!!

I was serviced by Anthony who was very personable, patient and knowledgeable about products and the paint palettes. My situation was very tricky because one portion of the basement has blacked out ceilings and the other has a standard white drywall ceiling. It was important that the correct hue of gray was picked to ensure that the space remained welcoming and not industrial. Anthony educated me on warm hues vs. cool hues as well as which hues gave off green, blue or purple. I've shopped at this location for over 10 years and I've never encountered an associate this knowledgeable about his craft. I look forward to visiting this store for all of my paint projects.

Dirt, crud and general fading mean you will need to paint those walls and spruce your place right up. We have done major repaints of the smaller rooms 3 or 4 times but the great room only twice. First time I went to buy paint it was to the local Benjamin Moore store which felt like some sort of really unfunny sitcom episode complete with a dog with free range of the store and really odd odd clerks. From then on, I have been a fan of Sherwin Willilams. It is bright, clean and cheery. There are no animals roving the premises. The clerks only bother you if you ask for help and everyone gets waited on in sequential order, your profession doesn't qualify you to jump the line. Plus, the samples are completely true to the color which ends up on your wall. If that isn't enough, the color we painted the office is Bagel. How can you not love a store that sells bagel paint?

If you are a consumer watch your prices at this store. Very shady way of doing business. Sherwin Williams has a good product but this store is really sneaky and I will never go back to this store.
