Far less overwhelming than big box stores when you are mid-project and just need a fabulous paint color. The lighting in the store is actually really optimal for choosing paint colors, and there is a table right near the paint samples on which you can fan out your tile or curtains or whatever it is you are trying to match up. Simple, but much appreciated. They will also store your paint and finish information in the computer in case you need to reference it later and can't remember what the heck you chose. Everything revolves around the customer in this place, and you know what? I love it. Check them out next time you are sprucing up your homestead!

That makes a big difference in how the color ultimately looks, and without a warm light area I can't really preview colors adequately in the store.

They have home decor, for whatever your style might be. There's some really cute decor for a kid's or a baby's room. As far as pricing, most items are priced average to other retailers that sell the same product. At Hobby Lobby you might find a 30 - 40% sale. For some reason the registers are not equipped with scanners, so the cashiers have to manually enter each sale. This sounds like so much more work than it needs to be. Hobby Lobby is a great store for anyone that's at all creative. They have yearn, thread, beads, paper goods, pens, even party supplies.

Absolutely terrible experience with Ashley Furniture from start to finish…read more The delivery crew damaged the trim around my doorway trying to force the furniture into my home, leaving me with hundreds of dollars in repairs. To make matters worse, after damaging my home, they still couldn't get the furniture into the room. They caused damage for nothing and simply left me to deal with the consequences. The quality of service was completely unacceptable. There was no care taken to protect my home, no professionalism, and no accountability. When you spend thousands of dollars on furniture, you expect the delivery team to know what they're doing and to treat your property with respect. Instead, I was left with damaged woodwork, added expenses, and a room without the furniture I purchased. I would never recommend Ashley Furniture based on this experience. If you're considering buying from them, be prepared for the possibility that your home could be damaged and that you'll be left fighting to get the situation resolved. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.
