Instead, I was greeted immediately by Bridget, who turned what I expected to be a color-chip scavenger hunt into an unexpectedly pleasant experience. She knew the shades I mentioned off the top of her head and led me straight to them. No wandering the aisles squinting at the teeny tiny names of 400 slightly different blues. She even suggested complimentary colors I never would've picked on my own. (Thank you, Bridget!) The paint store visit I was dreading turned into a breeze. Not sure if management changed or if they just got smarter about hiring, but Bridget is a serious asset. If I were the owner, I'd guard Bridget like the last gallon of paint during a supply shortage. Will definitely return to this store for paint and more of her spot-on design advice.

Manny's your guy. He helped me find a resolution for my bathroom project and everything else I needed to complete it. A young lady with beautiful long black hair that goes by Jocelyn took her time on helping me pick the best color for my bedroom walls. I went in looking for a simple gray and white color & didn't realize all of them had different undertones. I felt overwhelmed at first but she made it 10x more easier for me. Although it was a little busy, she still managed to offer me coffee & certainly took her time in providing me with great quality paint. I went back a few times to do the same. Maybe their prices aren't the best, I didn't check, I figured even if it wasn't I'm helping out a local small business. Last time I went looking for something specific, they didn't have it. I tried striking up some friendly conversation with the guy at the counter. He was dusting and made it very obvious he had no interest in talking or being friendly or even courteous. That's ok, I lived my life fine without this store, I can continue on. I am writing to complain about my experience at the Gardena 14000 Crenshaw Blvd location. My first…read morecomplaint is simply the young lady Rosemary( is the name on my Receipt) did not know how to measure properly. There was a gentleman at the register that was helping her round numbers off so I assumed they got it correct. I received the call and my screens were ready about a week later. I go to pick up my screens from Long Beach California, bring them home to my surprise. They do not fit. I immediately called the store and let them know that the screens were not fitting properly. When I get to the store I got the opportunity to speak with the manager, Miss Sabrina. She was very pleasant very apologetic and sincere. I also noticed on the rescreened that because of the way the screens go back into the window that the tabs were on the wrong side, Miss Sabrina wrote a note for the screens to have the tabs placed on the correct side. She also noticed my small window screen, which was a a new screen was thicker and taller compared to the original one. She lets me know that we'll make it a priority and will give you a call when they're ready. I believe I dropped them off on maybe Wednesday or Tuesday and I hadn't heard from anyone over the weekend. Here comes Monday. I just called to check on the screens to see what the progress was. I didn't get the associates name on the other end of the phone, but they did mention that the screens were ready. I had my mother pick up the screens because I was not feeling well. She brought the screens back to me I immediately knew that they were the same screens simply because the tabs were not placed on the correct side. The small screen did not fit back in the window again I get on the phone and complained again. Miss Sabrina says she's so sorry we're gonna go ahead and give you your money back. I had a question I wanted my screens re-screened and I wanted to know based off the originals. Would they be able to do it . the manager Lila stated we've done your screens two different times and we're gonna go ahead and give you back your money, no one looked at the size of the screens, the height of the screens to make sure they were the same. No one looked at the tabs to make sure the tabs were on the correct side of the screen. I am simply writing to let you know the service was poorly done. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the staff even respect the on-site management.
