I visited recently literally 4 minutes before the store closed and was not rushed through my purchase. I've been in many other larger hardware stores and the staff never approaches you, not even one time. But both days at this hardware store, the staff was incredibly helpful. On the second day, when I made the purchase, the associate named Aaron provided tremendous assistance. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did an amazing job walking me through the product features, registration of the saw, and he gave me so many helpful tips. He informed on the aspects of the operation of chainsaws in general that I wasn't even aware of, after more than a decade of owning and using chainsaws. We've used Showstopper Painting twice--with very different experiences…read more The first time was great. They painted our rental property efficiently and professionally. Although they were a bit pricey, the quality and service made it feel worth it. Because of that, we hired them again to paint the exterior and interior of an investment property. Unfortunately, this time around was a major disappointment. After carefully selecting a soft, off-white color called "Casa Blanca," we were shocked to walk in and see the entire interior painted bright white--walls, ceilings, and trim. It turns out the painters misunderstood the color name as "white house" and painted everything white. A simple confirmation call or text would have avoided the mistake. To try to make it right, they offered to paint the bathroom (which I had originally planned to do myself). I placed the correct paint can by the door--yet they still painted the bathroom white. They did eventually come back to correct that error. There was also overspray left on the windows, which they did eventually come back to clean, but only after being asked several times. We chose not to have them repaint the entire interior, but it was disappointing. The lack of communication between the supervisor and the crew was obvious and frustrating. Sadly, we won't be using Showstopper Painting again. There are plenty of painters out there who charge less and communicate better. We expected the same great service as our first experience, but this second time really missed the mark.
