Only problem is, 20 days earlier I had purchased 1 quart of the same exact paint in the same exact color from Eagle Paint in Englewood: Eagle invoice said retail is $34.45 and Eagle sold it to me for discounted price of $30.79. So Ricciardi's "discounted" price more than full retail at Eagle?!? A quick online search of other retailers shows that Ricciardi's bogus retail price is WAY MORE than anywhere else. This is my go to store…read morewhen I need things from my home and I rarely don't find what I need but like many stores in the area they have big problems when it comes to being stocked for major weather events. I came to the store like many people looking to get ice melt and found a sign on the door that they would not have ice melt until 12 PM. So I went to a local Duncan's and bought some food and sat in the parking lot waiting to see a truck pull up and be prepared to get a reasonable amount and I sat there for nearly an hour and a half and then so people coming and going just like me that saw the sign and figured they would come back. Well after four or five minutes after the 12 o'clock mark, I noticed people walking to their cars from behind the store with bags of ice melt so I walked into the store and I spoke to a fella that was working in the paint department and he spoke to me and another fella and stated that well we really don't know if it's gonna come in at 12 o'clock or not. It might come in sooner. I might come in later and we were just OK with that because it was 12 o'clock at that time anyway so I hung around the store buying other products doing my policy of by in the smallest stores rather than going to the big stores like Lowe's and Home Depot. While I was hanging around talking to other customers and buying products, I noticed the fella at the paint department was taking orders for a person that just walked in the store just walked up and asked if you can get a couple bags of ice melt, and I was just really disappointed that that person saw me there knew what I was therefore looked at me talk to me and everything never told me that a truck had pulled up with the ice melt and then was apprehensive about taking an order from me because I had to get a paid slip from him to go to the front counter to get my salt. No, I'm not pitching a bitch or making a complaint but it's astounding to me that someone that works at the store would treat me in that manner and not just say hey listen just wanted to let you know that the ice melt came in and go grab a few bags and you can come in and pay for it. That is the mom and Pop feeling of a store and this guy ruined that because he should've had the courtesy of letting me know. Then when I get out in a lot as I'm going out and putting my ice melt in my truck, I noticed another van pull up with a skid of ice melt so it made me feel that they were either selling it out the back to certain people that they knew or they were just being flat out secretive about the shipment coming in either way it's not customer friendly attitude. I'm 69 years old and I've been going to that store since I was about 17 or 18 years old, not buying every single thing I ever needed there but knowing for well that when I needed something that place had it the day before I went in there and bought O-rings that nobody else would have because I knew you could go to Palmer Bros and they would have what I needed so I think people got on the stick and they got order more than they need of a product, especially in the middle of a season when you know there's gonna be other weather event events that people are gonna need the product

From the first contact via Yelp, Jorge Ontiveros, owner of Century Painting LLC, provided exceptional customer service, especially in his communication with his client with regards to the project. He promptly responded to all inquiries before, during and even after the work was completed. What was impressive was he seem to intuitively understand our needs as his client and was quick to resolve any concerns we may have had. We had contacted over seven companies for the project before entrusting our condo project with Jorge and the results were fantastic! During the project, Jorge would sent updates with photos and description of what had transpired during the work, without being asked. If you appreciate such attention to detail in communication, you would absolutely appreciate this as much as we did. Jorge and his team members each seem to have their area of expertise in getting the paint work completed. I was on the market for painters to help paint my entire apartment (2br 2ba including doors, trim…read moreand baseboards). After doing some research, I knew I wanted to use BJ Moore Regal Select paint which was consistently ranked as the best quality interior paint and we had our colors & finishes already selected. I reached out to 5 different painters to learn about their services, get estimates and I scheduled in-person walkthroughs for my top 2 choices. The walkthrough meeting and followup Q&A really sold me on Century Painting, we hired them and were not disappointed. Jorge (the owner) was responsive, very professional, timely and offered helpful advice about care / maintenance. I requested an initial estimate and covered the majority of questions thru Yelp, shared photos and a floor plan over text, and covered followup questions with Jorge over text and a brief walkthrough meeting I requested so I could get better acquainted with them and be completely transparent about the project scope for our specific space so there wouldn't be any surprises down the road (we have high ceilings and structural beams that might be tricky). Jorge was quick to meet and he provided a firm estimate in writing to me over email. Jorge provided a very competitive quote for the job and he required no advance deposit (most required 10-50% down). He also accepted credit card payment as an option, with full payment expected only when they completed the project (note: they were the only painter of the 5 that accepted credit cards). Jorge and Carlos showed up on time every morning, was able to provide a COI to meet my bldg's requirements, and they came ready to work with all the necessary paint and supplies. They took good care to move / cover our furniture and hardwood floors so they were protected and made sure to return everything clean and put back in place. Jorge encouraged us to identify any holes we may need patched or painting misses that needed correction - tbh, most of these things were proactively detected by them first. They really paid meticulous attention to ensure the quality of their work - and invited us to call them if we had any issues after the project (since we have furniture being delivered following the project). We fortunately had a little paint leftover so we're keeping it just in case we scuff any of the new paint in the process. They were done with the project in 2 days (others quoted me for 3-5 days with 2-4 painters). They were truly a pleasure to work with. We chose 2 dark colors and 1 light color - everything got at least 2 coats of paint but the dark colors required at least 4 coats. It came out beautifully (see pictures). I can't thank Jorge and Carlos enough. Highly recommend you check them out for yourself - I doubt you'll be disappointed.

A store of this magnitude should easily be able to get anything and everything. It needs to supply a major weather situation.
