Finding a car dealership like this is rare these days. First off, if you want a great salesperson, Danielle is THE one. She was so nice, communicative, patient, and went above and beyond to provide a truly excellent car buying experience. She listened to our wants and needs and did everything she could to make the deal happen with no pressure. As for the finance side of things, Manny was excellent. We were a completely remote purchase, and despite some unexpected complications, Manny and the manager Tyler, put the customer (me) first. I greatly appreciate them making customer satisfaction a priority instead of what most dealerships these days do, which is make the customer feel like they don't matter. This dealership is different. As for the physical dealership as a whole, well I can't speak toward presentation because I never actually stepped foot in the store. Sherrell Chevrolet is a dealership that won't force you into the store to sell a car. They completed our entire purchase over the phone with absolutely zero sales games, that have become so common. I'm here to buy a car, not play a game of chess. They delivered the vehicle to us because we had no way of picking it up ourselves. Again, this speaks to Danielle's dedication as a person who truly wants the customer to feel important, as well as good management. The vehicle was delivered in perfect condition, as expected. As for price... put simply, this dealership was the best priced out of the FIFTEEN dealerships I called. Horrible service department. Don't bring your car here. Our 2022 Chevrolet suburban broke down in eastern OR and was towed here. The vehicle was under a full bumper to bumper warranty and they wouldn't honor the warranty. Wouldn't work on my vehicle until I paid with a credit card and was told to get reimbursed by Chevrolet warranty. It's been over 4 months now and haven't been reimbursed since they coded the work as not covered by warranty which it should have been. Avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

The service department here is an absolute joke. They had my vehicle for two separate five day periods. There was no communication at any time. The only thing they got done in this two week time frame Was an oil change. I had an appointment for Tuesday and they did not even look at it until Friday. They did not order any kind of parts until Monday, which never arrived. The truck was in for a seat replacement and TPMS sensors. Simple fix. Go elsewhere for your repairs. read more

Went to get my truck serviced and told them what I'm hearing when driving the truck and what I think seems wrong. A couple days later they give me the truck back with a solution of replace transmission and engine. I paid 300 dollars for them to tell me what I already told them what I was hearing. They never gave me an information as to what going on with my truck. They will try to get the most out of you. You have better luck taking it to a local small mechanic shop. Just because they are a Chevy dealership doesn't mean they are your best choice. Do your research. read more

I made an appointment for my car for a simple oil change and courtesy inspection. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle none of the work was done. They continued to tell me that the car is not worth putting money into for a variety of reasons. THEY DID NOT do the oil change and began to try and sell me a new car! I took my Chevy Traverse in due to a random light coming on very infrequently- thought it might be a sensor- three days later someone called after 5:30pm saying he had been working with my extended warranty company and only $3000 of the $4000 of work needing to be completed would be covered- and they were going to charge me over $780 to change spark plugs- quoted by other mechanics to cost closer to $400- I then requested a complete list of parts needed for the work in my vehicle- and over 4 hours later I received an incomplete list from my request placed with a manager- and after requesting the complete list- an hour later still do not have it- DO NOT Do Business with this company- read more

Input famous line of "if I could give them no stars I would". I was traveling through on a trip and started having some issues with possible transmission. I called and they said they could get me in later that day. great. I drove there early just to be safe and waited. Literally no communication until basically after they closed to tell me they needed more time. 7 hours after I got there and they hadn't even checked the transmission fluid. They said they could not get it to operating temperature. I said the only time it gave me a warning was driving for extended time with trailer. So after talking to them I went and got the trailer and came back the next day. (30 miles away). I was one of only cars there that morning and with zero communication I went up to ask 3 hours of waiting and they said "oh they must have taken it for a test drive". An hour Later. "Ok we flushed the transmission and just drive it without revving it too much and should be fine". 300 dollars and 30 miles later I called to say still getting hot (even faster) and my contact "just left for lunch" and 3 hours later no call back. I've had to reach out to other Mechanics to try to get home safely as I am almost 4 hours away from home. Did they run dianostics on anything? They sure didn't have great communication. Zero stars if I could. The others were surprised they just did minimal to figure out the problem. so here I am still stuck and in worse shape. read more

Purchased a used vehicle at Sherrell. I was not permitted to have it inspected because the dealership had already inspected it with a clean bill of health. Was told if there are any issue within 48 hours of purchase they would take care of me. Within 12 hours, there was an issue with the fuel system and I contacted Sherrell. Sherrell Chevrolet did not help and was unable to produce the inspection report. An employee, stated that it didn't exist in their service records department. Ironically, I received a canned letter from the owner asking for feedback about my purchasing experience. I've left three messages without a return phone call. In summary, employees at Sherrell Chevrolet did not keep their word. In light of this behavior I recommend avoiding this dealership. This review should not come as a surprise to Sherrell leadership as I've made several attempts to contact them (including owner) and have not heard back. read more

I went in for a recall on my windshield wiper motors and while I was waiting a desk guy came out to say my window had a rock chip below the seal. My window didn't have any cracks so I thought it was nice of him to let me know. They didn't show me anything. They wrote that there was a chip on my service receipt and sent me on my way. On my way home (~20 miles) I developed a crack that covered a third of my windshield and originated under a plastic cover next to my windshield wiper motor. I called and talked to the manager who said it was my issue not theirs. I called Chevy and they said it is a franchise so they have no way to resolve the issue. The window shop that replaced my window for ~$700 showed me the attached pictures with the plastic cover off. Their opinion matches mine as does another local chevy dealer - Sherrell broke my window and refused to make it right. read more

I bought my car from these guys in This Summer I got a Masada CX-5 2014 had low miles on it used but looked and to me is brand new as if it was right out do the factory they paid off my truck gave me a good trade in as down payment so I had nothing out of pocket! They even bought me a Vitamin water! I was thirsty too that hot the spot! I was treated as if I was family I cannot thank them enough for taking so good care of me. And making sure I found the perfect vehicle just for me! We drove it from Hermiston Oregon to North Platte Nebraska and back got average 30-35 miles to the gallon over and back! Heading from Central Oregon over to Hells Canyon to deer hunt with three excited teenagers and a buddy of mine, I experienced an issue with my 2017 Duramax about 6 miles from Hermiston. We googled "Chevy dealership" and Sherrell Chevrolet came up. So I limped my pickup while pulling my boat into Sherrell Chevrolet at 6:30 AM on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022. We waited, and at 7:30 Am Brent showed up and he told me to go in and talk to Steve, which I did. I explained my story and they said they would do everything they could do to get us back on the road and into deer camp. And they did!! While we went and had breakfast, they got my pickup in and found it was an injector. Luckily, they had the parts and a mechanic (Paul I think was his name) there to get it replaced. After the morning and early afternoon of repair and test drive, we were back on the road by 1:30 PM. Excellent service, friendly people, and they got the job done. Thank you Sherrell Chevrolet. Our start of the trip didn't look so hot, but you got us up and running and we were able to get to Hells Canyon and get deer camp set up. And we were successful as two boys tagged a buck. FRAUDS. AVOID. My wife took a pink chevy key fob in that she got for her birthday and wanted to get it programmed. They said no problem, thirty minutes later they told her it doesn't work, and that she had to pay 50 dollars in labor fees. How would you feel if you paid for something and received nothing in return, robbed? This was just 50 dollars but image what they will do to YOU if you buy a new car here or plan to get repairs! I recently had my car worked on at this dealership and I can honestly say this was one of the very worst experiences I have ever had. I took my car in for it's scheduled 100k maintenance, no big deal..two weeks prior I had an indicator come on that said to replace the timing belt. I couldn't get it done right then because I had to make an unscheduled marathon trip to Montana. I called this dealership's service department and asked about this indicator. I was told by one of their techs that, "no, it's fine .. it's just to remind you that you need the tune up done". Now I trusted this person's word and drove a round trip of 940 miles. Luckily nothing happened!! I scheduled the maintenance a week prior to a mini vacation. Upon inspection, they said that the belt needed replaced ASAP and no problem we have it. What they DIDN'T have was the two parts that every single person I know who knows cars, and the giant and vast amounts of information on the internet said I also needed...the tensioner and the idler!! Oh and that won't come in until the following week...sorry about your trip, sucks to be you. Today I picked up my car, almost $900 and a week late. In the meantime, upon further investigation i also found out that it is recommended to also change the water pump in this particular car. While I can't really afford that, I asked whomever it was that gave me my keys without even an introduction..of course I got the standard...oh you have boobs and couldn't POSSIBLY know what you're talking about. Needless to say, I paid the bill and left pissed off and not all that sure about the level or quality of service I received. I bought this car at a dealership in Montana and prior to my moving back to the area they had done all the work but on it. At this point I don't care if it has to be towed to Karl Tyler in Missoula...Sherrell Chevrolet will NEVER touch my car again. Oh...and you lost a possible sale too... quality work!! From an internet search I already knew the truck I wanted to get there. Showed up & they gave me about 20 minutes to let me look the truck over by myself...which I really appreciated!! My salesman was Luis Solano...super cool guy. Was really upfront about the pricing & what they could do for me. After agreeing on a really good price they took me inside & the sales manager called 4-5 banks to get me the best financing possible. Sales manager was a great guy...we bs'd for 30 minutes & I felt I was hanging out with a buddy not making a huge purchase. I honestly felt I got the best deal I possibly could have...both total price & financing. I usually have anxiety about big purchases & don't really like haggling....I never felt pressured or rushed at all for a minute. It's nice to do business locally with cool guys rather than go to the coast & get rushed by somebody just trying to make fast money. They even gave me a super nice vehicle cleaning kit...I'd say it's worth $100. I'll come back here again when I need another vehicle! read more
