I wish giving less than one star was an option. GM Juan Azuna does not honor what he tells you when selling you a vehicle. He and his team wrote me an IOU which the purchase of my vehicle was contingent on and he did not fulfill it. He sold me a lemon that his service team knew needed repairs and hid those service orders from me. When I spent countless hours trying to call him and get this addressed, he accused me of cursing at him (which I never did) and refused to help me. He told me he had no legal liability, even though he agreed to make those repairs in an IOU. Pierre of Hermiston is the least professional auto facility I have ever delt with. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Purchased a brand new Ram 2500 with heated and leather seats added. I was told on three different occasions when it would be ready for pick-up, and none of the times it was. Contact after I paid for the truck also nearly completely diminished to the point I had to call the dealership rather than the person I had been in contact with on a cell phone. ****BEWARE****** Started off with Sam the salesman. Explained to him I'm ready to buy a GMC 3500HD Denali diesel....Told him I'm a cash buyer and ready to buy. Was on the way to make a deal and he text messages me saying a sales manager (Neil or Neal) will be calling me in a few minutes. So I had a question regarding the vehicle I'm interested in and Sam says he will get my request to me "in a sec." Well the rest of the day went by (Friday), the weekend went by, Monday went by, and Tuesday I get an automated message from the dealer. Look at the text message from the dealer. I would NEVER buy from this dealer. First impressions are everything. Wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did. They just lost a 70k plus cash deal. Sam the salesman didn't do what he said he would, Neal/Neil the sales manager didn't do what he was supposed to do. I spoke with another head manager at the dealer and ..... they all appear incompetent. Be careful if you use this dealer. these guys have the worst customer service that i ever had in my life, and i've been in the new and used car industry for 30 years. you go in for service and they have many bays now and they still cannot diagnose anything correctly. bought two very expensive trucks from these guys in 4 years and they keep trying to give me a runaround. and after they have pictures of a paint defect and took two hours for them to do so, they want me to come back so they can look at it again. they seem to want to waste your time and money to just anger you out of there fun. i will not waste my money or time with these guy again. you might want to buy somewhere else. read more

I've procrastinated writing this review for quite a while wanting to give this dealership every opportunity to respond to my concerns. But it's becoming obvious that this process is going nowhere so it's time to move on. I've been looking into upgrading my Challenger to a Hellcat and saw on the Dodge web site that they have a very low mileage 2021 in their used vehicle inventory. So I contacted them about it and Sebastian got back to me. Sebastian made quite a point that they are a small town dealership and that the experience I will have with them will be much better than the way things are here in the big city. My experience with car salesmen is that talk is cheap but I am more than willing to let them show me that they walk their talk. Sadly, as it turned out, that's all any of this bloviating was about. Just blah, blah. My desire was to head on out there, drive the nearly new HC and if I liked it perhaps we could come to terms on a deal. Worst case, if they turned out to actually be that great dealership that they claimed to be, we could talk about ordering a new HC built to my specs. I was very clear with them as to what my agenda was and what it would take to convince me that the dealership was what they claimed to be. Massive fail as it turned out. I have a policy of always requesting a chat with the GM or at the very least the fleet or sales manager early on in the process. You can tell a lot about how you will be treated by the GM's willingness (or lack of) to do this. So The GM gets back to me and instead of listening to and responding to my above-stated goals, he tells me what *HIS* process is. In a nutshell, he sells at full MSRP so don't bother him and just deal with his sales guy like a good little customer. Strike one, right? I get back to Sebastian and inform him that it seems unlikely that we will be doing business and shortly after I hear from his (the GM's) Brother, the sales manager. Completely different, much more positive tone so while I am now still skeptical I'm willing to discuss this further. So I respond to the sales manager and Sebastian re-iterating and amplifying the factors that are important to me if we are to move forward and express once again that I'd like to take the 200 mile drive out there to look at their HC and perhaps we can come to terms on either a purchase or placing a build order. That was a week ago. Crickets. I should also add that this dealership has apparently changed hands a couple of times in recent years. Circa 2016 Yelp blocked an incredible two dozen, mostly 5 star reviews for this place that were obviously posted by bots, fake accounts and/or shills. The remaining mostly legit looking reviews are mostly less than stellar but this is not unusual for car dealerships so I do take them with a grain of salt. I've been informed that this dealership was recently purchased by "a large dealership home based in Seattle". I'm assuming it's Lithia, a dealership chain that is radioactively toxic to me. As near as I can tell it's pretty much the same crew there now that has been there since Yelpsters started reviewing the place. Bummer that this biz turned out to be just another not-so-great dealership. I was truly hoping that a small town dealership would give me the outstanding customer care and great deal that one would expect out in eastern Oregon. No complaints, especially. It just is what it is. I was treated politely (mostly) by everyone except for the GM. But the people there don't even have the courtesy to invite a serious prospect to come by to have a cup of coffee and look at a $90k vehicle they have for sale that's just sitting around collecting dust. The whole scene just kinda strikes me as odd and difficult to understand. They are in the business of selling vehicles, right? So the search continues, unfortunately. read more

Terrible service! Do NOT believe the 5 star reviews, they were written at the dealership while waiting to get the keys! I know because this is what happened to us. After patiently waiting for 9 months, I am writing a TRUE review! We drove 3.5 hours to purchase a PHEV Jeep Grand Cherokee on December 30, 2023. The purchase seemed to go well, although even though they knew we were coming they did not bother to charge the car. For the inconvenience we were promised that they would send us some hats. We have never received any hats. We financed part of the vehicle because that was part of the 'deal'. After having to redo the financing TWICE due to their mistakes, we said we would just pay the car off. That was in January. It is now September 2024 and we have NOT received the title!!! We have made numerous phone calls, and the only return calls we receive are " oh you want to purchase a Jeep?" NO! I already purchased one, my message was about NOT having the title yet! I received several of these calls! Still no title or the promised hats for the trouble. This is by far the WORST dealership I have ever delt with! RUN THE OTHER WAY! Tried to sell me a 2003 Chevy Suburban - their agent Paul said it had "no problems" and got shipped to my door with a broken windshield and squeaky engine - not to mention came days later than expected. Taking it in to see just how much their is wrong with it and already planning to have them take the piece of junk back. I virtually signed to buy "as is" without being told how it actually was - false advertising since I didn't have a car to go and check it out myself. Back in December I placed an order for a new Wrangler 4xe with Hermiston CDJR (in Oregon) for which we had agreed on a price and payment. Upon it's arrival last week I was shocked when they wouldn't honor the agreed sales price and the payment was over $100 off from estimated. Check out the docs in my link. Sure residuals and interest rates change, but they added $4,000 to the selling price, as well as almost another $3,000 in unexplained costs. I nearly fell out of my seat! Five stars! I live in Vancouver, WA and drove to Hermiston, Oregon for this deal! I sent pictures, VIN and my mileage to them and they gave me a trade in value over the phone! Very fair value! Nobody beat them! Their prices on a new Ram Ecodiesel beat Idaho three dealer deals without price games! They had the paperwork filled out when I arrived, I wrote a check, signed the contract and drove off! The only negative would be the Hermiston is windy and dusty! In November my vehicle was getting some warranty work done at the shop. During the time my vehicle was there, the dealership left it unlocked. My vehicle was broken into and over 500 dollars worth of my property was stolen, because they left the vehicle unlocked. There were no signs of breaking and entering. After I picked the vehicle up and noticed all of this we talked to the dealership and they did not seem concerned one bit. A police report was filed, and the dealership was supposed to review the security cameras and get back to the police officer. The police officer left voicemails at the dealership and they haven't returned his calls. They left my vehicle unlocked which is why all my stuff got stolen, and they did not seem to care. read more

Honest service, honest people! After several bad experiences at Lithia Dodge in Kennewick, WA, I decided to begin bringing my 2015 Challenger and 2008 Ram to Tom's. Boy, am I glad I did! My appointment with the truck was easy - I just wanted a multi point inspection and a new engine air filter as I am trying to sell it. I was in and out in less than an hour, all was good with the truck, and I was as happy as a clam. A week later I brought the Challenger in for a 60k service. Danny was awesome - we went over what would be done, I was given a cost estimate, and he asked me when I needed it back. I said by the end of the day and he said all right. I received an update call a little later with something they found, which I appreciated. Then, about an hour before close, I showed up at Tom's (a little sooner than I meant to.) But there was the Challenger, parked and freshly washed just waiting for me. Great! I spoke to Danny, paid, and then was on my merry way. Be very wary of their online advertisements. They will list multiple prices and attempt to stack multiple deals/rebates into the ad to make the price look a lot smaller. Upon closer look these deals will not and do not stack the way they show and most will not apply to somebody, let alone all the deals stacking to one person. It's an unethical attempt to get you in the door then slam you with a much higher price. I give the 2nd star only for my experience with the frontline sales person, Rich. He was great and pleasant to work with. The phone call later in the evening, from Isaac, was unprofessional and once I turned the offer down and told them I was walking away he basically started ripping into me. Very unprofessional. Started complaining to me about how much money they were already losing on the vehicle and what did I expect them to do. I again reiterated that I was walking away as it was over my price range. He then again began asking if I just had to have the bells and whistles. I explained that I had seen the deal on that vehicle, was looking at that one, if the numbers don't mesh then they don't mesh. In a condescending tone he replied "so that's it, huh?" It seemed that he was just looking for a sale that didn't matter if the customer already knew it was above what they can afford. Extremely unethical, unprofessional and Isaac is the sole reason I will never do business with this dealership. I will go someplace more local to the Tri-Cities like Lithia. read more

I set up a deal online over their website and the internet salesman made it sound like we had a deal set up. When I got to the dealership, I had to start all over again with a different salesman that the internet guy introduced me to. After a couple of hours and a bunch of back and forth, we never got back to the numbers we had online and I ended up taking my businesses to Lithia Dodge in Kennewick. In general I think this is the kind of dealership that gives car salesmen a bad rap. I will never do business with these guys. read more

My van was going to be too expensive to repair (according to the Dodge dealership), so I purchased a Ford Edge from the Dodge place (they are connected with the Ford place) Anyway, long story shorter, my vehicle had many many problems. This was my worst vehicle purchase nightmare. I no longer had my paid for van and this new vehicle was having some similar issues. Originally, the place that they got an extended warranty through (which has a huge $200 deductible that I wish the Dodge sales team was more upfront about), was refusing to pay for the doors being stuck in lock because the "inspector" they sent couldn't get the doors to malfunction. Shawnica finally got them to pay for 3 broken locks, saving me thousands of dollars. However, I think they may have done the wrong door in the back, we will find out if it locks up on me. My vehicle was in the shop for three weeks and Ford covered the rental car at first but may be now covered by the extended warranty. The Dodge place covered whatever was causing the check engine light to come on as it wasn't covered by the extended warranty (figures). Ford also replaced the battery that died. I can't complain, Ford and Dodge really out did themselves in trying to help me. I appreciate it very much. read more

Worst customer service ever as soon as you leave the lot. I have purchased 1 vehicle from them as well as family purchasing from them. They are great until you leave the lot then their customer service sucks. We called them everyday for three weeks about financing on a vehicle we were trying to buy everyday we got the run around. This last time we got the it's the weekend but we will call you on Monday story it is now the following week talked to them once nothing.... Now understand I wasn't asking them to do a trade in at all just money down and finance the truck. when I was dealing with the very nice sales lady the manager BRIAN LANNING came out and was telling me how much of a better deal his truck was. When I asked him if they would match the price of the exact truck in Gresham Oregon he got very upset. Mr. LANNING leaned over on the desk and tapped the paper work and asked me if I can't get this, do you understand were I am coming from at all? I looked at the sales lady who also looked very shocked at what he said and I asked her again. So what you are saying is you are not willing to match there price which was only $1,000 difference. He interrupted the sales lady and said very loudly NO I AM NOT! I know for a fact if my husband would have been with me doing this deal we would have NEVER been treated with so much disrespect.
