Almost every single post had multiple scratches. We called and complained the first day and was told they would touch it up. After installation was complete, it was evident no touch ups were done. The owners stated that they can't control how the poles arrive to them. They suggested we buy paint and touch them up ourselves. When you spend 6 grand on a fence you expect there to be minimal damage to start. After multiple emails, they stated that when they had time they could bring a can of spray paint to try to pacify us. Also gate was very uneven among other issues. Still charged us full amount even though the poles were all damaged.

Their three-man crew quickly installed my fence, and it looks great. The neighbors comment on how much they like it too (which is a blessing. If you know what I mean.). What I like most is that the owner of the company, Dean, is actually helping with the install. He has a vested interest in making sure his customers are happy and that the fence is installed to their satisfaction. His crew are also pretty cool. Super nice guy who explained the process to me (I know nothing about concrete). He explained to me that he had a good amount of worked lined up and it would take up to 6 weeks to get to my driveway. We were in no rush so I agree that the wait wouldn't be an issue. A couple weeks early Danny called us and said he was caught up and would like to get our project done. His crew came out, (I think he works with his son) and they were able to tear out the old driveway and frame up the new one in a day. The next day they poured the new driveway. Smooth with no hassles. Danny's workmanship is great and you can tell he knows what he is doing. It's been 5 years this summer and the driveway Majestic poured for us still looked amazing. I would hire Danny again in a heartbeat if I needed anymore work. We recommended him anytime we run into anyone that needs work.

When I made the decision to move back to STL from suburban life in IL, I knew I wanted to use Garcia Properties as my agent. I support several of their restaurants along Kingshighway and like how they truly believe in the city. The day I stopped in to start the process, I met with a young lady (forget her name) and she asked a variety of questions. She then matched me up with, Stefan Kelly. When we met, I told Stefan I wasn't under any time frame. My goal was to really find the perfect match. We worked as a team, I searched Zillow and followed other listings as well. I started out wanting a bungalow or some type of small house. Then I started looking at condos, as a possibility. Once I did that, I knew I was on the right track. Once I found the one that meet all my needs, Stefan and the Garcia team made it a reality. So, if you're looking for your first, or a new dream home, I highly recommend Garcia Properties.

Since my house sits on a double lot with an automatic gate, this was a fairly involved project, so I got bids from three different companies before deciding who to hire. Casey Arnold, the owner, stood out from the start. He was personable and easy to work with, and his bid was not only the most competitive of the three but also by far the most detailed. Where the other estimates were vague, Casey's spelled out specifics like post depth, the amount of concrete used, the type of fasteners, and hand-picked lumber. That level of transparency gave me real confidence going into the project. Casey and his crew showed up on time and worked with genuine care throughout -- both tearing out the old fence and installing the new one. They were mindful of my landscaping as well as my neighbor's, and nothing was damaged in the process. The finished fence looks fantastic -- the top line is perfectly level from end to end, which really shows the attention to detail that went into it. The whole job was also completed on schedule. If you're looking for a local, small business that combines fair pricing with real craftsmanship and professionalism, I'd recommend Select Fencing without hesitation.

I let it go at the time, but in hindsight it reflects a lack of attention to detail on the initial installation. I wish I had paid closer attention at the time of install. While the fence looked great at first, multiple issues have come up within six months. There are nails protruding through several areas, some boards were never properly attached, and both gates have repeatedly failed to function correctly--we often have to force them open just to get in and out of the yard. A wooden topper has also come loose and is now flapping in the wind. To their credit, they did respond to my initial concerns, but new problems continue to surface. Taken together, this raises concerns about the overall quality and durability of the work. I would recommend thoroughly inspecting the installation before considering the job complete.
