We engaged TWM for what we hoped would be a straightforward survey of our property. They were…read morerecommended to us by a contractor we were working with. Despite the estimate which was on the higher end of those we received, we elected to proceed with TWM based on that recommendation and our desire to have things done right the first time around. Unfortunately, work that should have taken several weeks (per TWM's communication) took more than two months. Communication with regard to the delay was non-existent and when it did come, made us feel that our "little" project just wasn't important to them. No apologies for the delay that set us back more than a month. I found it funny that in our final invoice they threaten to charge additional interest for accounts more than 30 days late. If only they applied they same standard to their work... Would urge readers to work with someone who values them. I truly hope we are the exception, not the rule.

So didn't trip on it , come to find out it was neighbors survey snd went into my yard ! So he trespassed into my property and lied about the survey BEWARE !!!! I learned that my land survey for my fence had been done already at my house purchase closing, but…read morethat they had only put corner flags in. Altea never communicated with me when the survey would happen or reach out to explain the work order or what to expect, so this was all a surprise. With a 3.5 acre property four corner flags won't suffice to build a fence. My title company said that I'd get the survey in the mail and suggested I call Altea to walk the property line with me so I could mark it myself and said that survey companies do that all the time. I called Altea to request this and they said they'd send someone out Monday to walk the property lines with me. I said, great, I'll mark the line as we go and was happy to be able to get to work! But the field worker came out and did not show me the property lines. He showed me where the corner flags are (which I'd seen), but informed me he had no permission to use any tools to actually see the lines between the corners and show me that - the whole reason for his visit. Two of the were flags already on the property before their survey, and a new flag offset on one side 50 feet from a corner, with no corner offset on the other side so there's no real telling where the corner is. And still I had no way to know where the line between the corners actually sits. Meanwhile, I also never received the survey in the mail. I called the owner while the field worker was here to ask that they let him do what he came out here to do, and the owner steadfastly refused. So I begged her to let him at least do one small section of the boundary near the house, and she flatly refused, unless I paid more for them to place the flags on the line, though she had a skilled worker at my house already. I wrote all this up in a review here on Yelp and in Google and gave the one star they deserved. A week later they called in response to the review. They sent a field worker out again with instructions to walk the property line with me and provide 4 line stakes (lol) in addition to the corner flags they'd found. Thankfully the field worker recognized that I would be unable to actually build my fence with just the info four line stakes would provide so he took care to show me the lines between and even tied a few unofficial tags in trees. He actually seemed interested in helping. And they did email me the survey that second time. So I finally got the info I need, but the company owner didn't do it because it was the right thing to do, she did it to get me to remove the negative review. So I'll up the star rating from one to three - I eventually, after some disappointment and aggravation I'd rather not have experienced, got what I needed, but I am not super impressed with the whole experience.

Very disgruntled with what I got from Altea, I even called and questioned the price I was charged…read moreafter the work was done because I got next to nothing from the exchange. I am paraphrasing, but was basically told "the price is the price. I have 2 acres that sit on a bluff in South County, I was told by the woman at Altea that it would take multiple employees up to 5 days to do my survey. In addition the property has some corners on the cliff and the other corners are in dense woods. They did the survey the tail end of this winter, so there was no growth in the woods, so it wasn't difficult to get to those corners and it took the single guy that came out less than 7 hours to do my survey and that includes marking the location of a specific tree and the building line. The total price was almost $6,500 and i discovered that of the 8 markers that had to be set for my boundary lines, 4 had already been marked prior to them doing the work. I let them know, prior to signing the contract that I wanted to put up a fence between my property and the two neighbors and was told the survey could be used to put up a fence. I don't know how that is going to be accomplished since a person cannot stand at one marker and see another to set a straight line. I am very disgusted with this company and will not recommend them. They have left untreated mold exposed in my house for over a month now, and won't respond to emails…read moreand will not answer calls. They are also 100% aware that there is water coming into my basement from outside, and have not scheduled anyone to come do anything in over a month. Ontop of that, they even tried to blame my dog for the issues I am having so they can try to get money out of me, the renter. They took two months to come out and seal my door, which takes 5 minutes. Very awful company, I question their business model and ethics. Wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy.

I live in the Dayton, OH area, about a five to six hour drive away, so travelling to the house on a regular basis was not convenient. Rob and his entire staff went far beyond what was required to sell the house; to include recommending specific upgrades to modernize the house fixtures for sale (he even texted photos of specific model light fixtures that would help the resale value), coordinating schedules with various contractors to allow them access to the home, and just checking on the property on a nearly daily basis. The previous owner was a smoker, and Rob worked tirelessly to eradicate the stubborn smell of cigar smoke so that the house would be appealing to non-smokers. After several months of work, we had a house that looked, felt and smelled like new construction, and recently sold to become a home for a new family for a good price. When I was initially looking for a realtor, I interviewed several in the area that were recommended online and by reputation within the realtor community. After selecting Rob, another realtor that I had interviewed but did not select asked me why I did not select her. I explained to her all that Rob offered to do since I was not in the local area to help make this long-distance home sale easier for me. She openly admitted that she would not have done any of the extra things that Rob Cole offered to do - and then did - to make this sale happen more quickly and easily. We were working through some homes and when I found one I liked he said he would look into it for me. I had to call him back 3 days later to see if he had contacted the other agent so we could put an offer on the house. He said he had not and would do it that day. I called him next day and had to leave a message. I called him back the day after thinking he was busy and he said he had not contacted them yet. I called another agent after two days of waiting to hear from Rob Cole to get things moving and found out that the house was sold yesterday and I had missed my chance to buy my dream home. I would never use Rob Cole or any company he works for.
