    Wow, can I rate higher than five stars?! From my research I fully expected Dave and his team to do…read morea nice job and it's even better than I anticipated. All along the back of my house was a shady, weedy mess and thanks to Dave's team it's neat, tidy and ready for some shade plants next spring. Dave was easy to work with as far as getting an estimate, scheduling and follow-up. The two guys who did the work were meticulous, timely and so very nice to deal with. I'm happy about a lot of things to do with this job, but especially impressed with how well the pavers were installed. The guys dug a channel, added a bunch of aggragate and carefully fitted in the pavers at an angle (to prevent the decorative rock from falling out). The back turned out so nice (and in budget) that I decided to do the front now instead of waiting till spring. Once again I was pleased with the pricing and quality of work.

Upon inspection of the lawn, they quoted me $50 for the job. It seemed a little high in price, our yard is not huge, and we don't have a fence, but for a one-time job, I understood the cost. We returned home one week after they cut the grass, and I noticed it looked as if the grass had been cut, but no edging had been done. Grass was left very long along the edges of the property, growing over our driveway, patio, landscaping, and up the sides of our home. It had not been edged since before we left on vacation, I know my lawn. When I questioned their service, Dave, drove to my house, and stood in my front yard arguing with me about the job they did in front of several neighbors. Exclaiming they did edge, he was doing me a favor, and he didn't like being called a liar. I did edge the day after my encounter with Dave, and there is no way my edges grew to the length Dave claims they did in one weeks time. For the $50 he wanted to initially charge me, this job was no favor, it was business. In the end, he dropped the charge to $30 for just a cut, and no edging, and said we would never do business again. Like as if we would...Oh, and yes, based upon the evidence, Dave, you are a liar to me.

    Warning about Sonnenberg below: (to begin with, their website seems to be unsafe. Every time we…read moretried to use the website, our ainti-virus warned that the page was unsafe and was using phishing to collect information like credit card info.) They delivered a $400+ order to my home that was the incorrect size, seemed to be infested with fleas, AND ran over and destroyed a custom metal yard sign. We ordered small trap rock and they delivered rocks that were much larger. We weren't thrilled about it since it didn't match our previous order, but we didn't raise an issue about it. Within a few days, we noticed a significant amount of fleas when moving the rock around and working in the rocks. The issue only resolved once spraying the entire new landscaping areas with pesticides. (Never, ever, had this issue until this delivery.) In addition, when Sonnenberg pulled out of our oversized, FIFTEEN FOOT WIDE driveway (that nobody else has ever had a problem with) the driver pulled the back wheels off the driveway, hitting our custom made, metal yard sign we bought for $70 a couple years ago. (The closest replacement we found online is a junker from amazon because the sign was custom - not bought online like the one out there now.) When I contacted the "manager" Greg, I sent not 1, but 2 videos showing them hitting the sign. Greg had over a month and never responded. I sent a follow up email, no response. I called and asked for a different manager and was told the "general manager" Caroline would call, yet she never did. It's been months now. I called one more time today and talked to the special gem, Caroline. She was unprofessional, hateful, accusatory, and she denied any and all wrong doings. In fact, she went as far as to hang up the phone numerous times during very brief, accusatory phone calls. Then she would call back and start up again. She claimed she and Greg couldn't see a single thing in the videos. Then she went on to interrogate me about what the sign was made of and how big it was, as if it were made of straw or something. She tried to deny it over and over.  Only after numerous hangups, repeated denials, continued hateful remarks and comments, did I ask her why she was being so unprofessional and she remarked "you're being aggressive." After waiting for months, and being verbally abused by this hateful lady over and over, after a really piss poor experience, I was somehow "aggressive" for asking her why she was rude and expecting them to replace damaged property. Sorry, but when you're a really hateful person like Caroline, I guess you don't expect people to call you out about your behavior. Then when they do, you project it back to the customer. Great service! When Caroline called back after hanging up again, I let her go to voicemail so she'd be recorded. Imagine this - she suddenly found manners she'd been missing all day and left a polite message! If you don't compensate for the sign by the end of the week, I will send a chargeback for a full refund with the bank because this is horrible service, and after all of the errors on your part, the least you can do is apologize and replace the sign. Leaving this review anywhere I can since you all have a bad habit of removing unfavorable reviews.
