Originally, I was quoted a timeframe between 1-5pm, they showed up an hour EARLIER! To some this may have been the part where you panic, especially if you are running small items back and forth to your new place, to me?? This was PERFECT, because I was able to have a headstart for my long moving day. The truck was large enough, both movers came in and were polite, patient, and did not make me feel uncomfortable when handling my items. They wrapped all dressers, tv stands, coffee tables, and TVs and ensured everything was delivered carefully. No frills, no stalling for extra time (you do get charged hourly if you exceed your allowed time), and just straight to business. On loading day seven guys came and were done with our very full house within about 4.5 hours. Three days later (it was our request to delay delivery and unloading) four of them met us in Vermont and within 6 hours had unloaded everything to the locations in the house that we requested. My friend and I live in the same complex and moving to another unit across the parking lot. So, we need her place and my place moved into one space. He even threw in a free kitchen packing kit and said the guys would help. Cool. He also gave me discount and I was happy. Kion calls me an hour later asking me to confirm the move. What? I spoke to Chris. We go over things and he tells me we are good to go. I am emailed a confirmation and then see a different price. I call back and speak to him again and he says, oh, that is an estimate but we would be done before that price. Then, I get a call from Mike. He wants to confirm my move and inventory. What the heck? He says his notes are confusing so he wants to check. We go over things, AGAIN. He then tells me that it sounds like more work so, he is going to send 5 guys instead of the original 2 guys and a truck because it's gonna be a big job and that it would take 9-12 hours and double the price that I was told. Umm, what? For a 2 bedroom apartment?? He tells me I can speak to his general manager, Kion. I literally confirmed with him before! I literally start crying because I am already stressed from preparing to move in a timely manner before the 31st. Kion and I speak again and he won't even let me get a word in and trying to say that the numbers Mike estimated are correct and that there is no way it wouldn't be a full day job. I cancelled, he says he will return my deposit and then transfers me to customer care where the guys asks me what can he help me with? You tell me, sir. He hears me out and says he need to speak with Kion to get his perspective and will call back. No one has called. Lesson learned to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

We had a dedicated elevator, yet workers often brought items down only one or two at a time. I also saw team members on their phones or standing around in rooms and hallways instead of actively moving things. These delays added up quickly. The crew also misplaced parts of our bed frame, and the pieces had to be found before it could be reassembled. That alone added nearly an hour to the move. Because the move took much longer than expected, the final cost was significantly higher than the estimate we received. We were also charged based on an arrival time that was recorded as ten minutes earlier than when the crew actually arrived. That was a big mistake. This time I went right to Doyle. You get what you pay for, my friends. Ryan, the owner, was very responsive and we made an appointment to do a video walk-through of our condo. We did the walk-through, he asked a lot of questions and then he promptly sent an estimate. We have a lot of things so it took five guys and two trucks. The crew leader contacted me the day before to confirm the details and they showed up promptly the day of. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and energetic the entire time. And very polite. They treated all of our things very well and didn't have a problem moving any of the weird odds and ends we couldn't find a way to pack. When we arrived they put everything in the new house where we wanted it and even though we could tell they were suffering from the extreme heat and the weight and amount of our things, they never lagged or complained. They put the beds back together quickly and correctly as well as the dining room table. I'd be in hospital if I had to move all my stuff. At the end, the crew leader went over the paperwork, explained all the final charges line-by-line, and took payment. Very professional. We could not be happier. They were a great crew of guys. Day of the move the team was late and I didn't receive communication. It also took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 2200 sq house to a 1600 sq foot townhome and we had to leave a number of items in the original home that I had to go back to retrieve on my own. I asked for patio furniture and a grill to be added day of (1 table, 6 stackable chairs, 2 wicker chairs with ottoman's) and am unsure if this contributed to the increased time of the move (the estimate I was given was for 7 hours). I was told dismantling the beds could be easily handled by the team, I mentioned I could handle them but didn't get to it in time so they dismantled them but then the screws were lost to one bed and they refused to put the other two children's beds together (citing liability which I was not informed of). I was left with multiple broken items (the leg and attachment of my dresser completely broke off, both my children's dresser legs were broken, there was a hefty chip on a buffet table, a plastic storage bin was broken, and my suede ottoman was covered in water after being placed near patio furniture. Freshly painted walls are now scuffed and several doorframes have dents/dings following completion of the move. It has been several weeks- I contacted the owner with photos of my broken items and was immediately told he would be happy to fix/replace things and asked for item numbers which I provided. Since then- nothing has been done and I assume nothing by will be done.
