Melanie is the real deal…read more It all started with a group past life regression.... I completed a 2.5 year apprenticeship with her about 10 years ago. The rigor of her classes -- which included hands-on, applied experience -- rivaled some of the graduate courses I took to earn my MS degree at the University of Houston. Melanie is serious about Reiki, and she offers perspective along with metaphysical truths. Plus, she's approachable, professional and knowledgeable. After withstanding multiple traumatic life events, learning and practicing Reiki with Melanie and my classmates got me moving toward optimal health. Thank You, Melanie!

I went to the Past Life Regression taught by Melanie over at Yoga Pod. I went in openminded. I have…read morecertain behaviors in this life, that completely line up with what I saw that day. I'm a fighter. I've fought mentally, I've fought physically, and I've fought emotionally. I've been through some serious trauma in this life, where most people would have given up and just walked away. Or just decided that this life is too hard for them and they are ready to find peace. Melanie took me on this journey. It started off with hypnosis. I was in so deep I no longer felt my physical body. It felt like I fell through the floor into nothingness. Then the images came. I was a very large male warrior in a past life. My live wasn't exactly great, but it had it's good moments. My death was pretty disturbing, but I felt no fear. It was my time. One thing she told us is if you see an angel, stay with the angel. I realize now I did see an angel, but I didn't know it then. I couldn't quite describe her, so I said she was a nun. Back in 863 bc I'm not sure there were nuns. There were also no perfectly clean women in baby blue with a white light around them. Everyone is dirty. Even if I did try and stay with her, I'm not sure I could. The images were vivid and came quickly. Not everyone in the room was able to go back. Some saw small glimpses, some saw nothing, some stories were tragic. For me, it was the answer to many of my life's questions. It explained why I fight for those who can't fight for themselves. Why I never give up. Why I am the way that I am. I'm hoping to do this again with Melanie. If you get a chance to try it, I highly recommend you do. Like I said, I went in with an open mind. I didn't expect to see what I did. I've always felt like I've been here on this earth many times before, and I already know I'll be here again. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my other lives. After being ripped in half by horses in 863 bc in England while. Really, what could be worse? Bring! It! On!

I was not at all surprised to find that Victoria was booked out (because she is THAT GOOD). However, the universe brought me an opportunity to connect with Simply Reiki's, massage therapist, Angelica Torres, for a Sunday morning appointment. I had never experienced a Reiki treatment with massage therapy (I added the hot stones + aromatherapy) and OMG it was surreal! It was the quiet, physical healing that I needed in that moment of sitting with utter chaos in my nervous system. What also blew my mind was Angelica's intuitive gifts. I was not expecting that, but she read me like a book before she even laid hands on me, and without me telling her one word about what I was going through. Her presence was gentle, grounded, and comforting like a soothing balm. Her energy, and her words were incredibly powerful and validating and exactly what I needed to hear that day. (Bonus she spoke to me in Spanish!) She's a true energy worker and worth every penny. I highly recommend Angelica for the massage + reiki treatments. You will be glad you did. I walked out of her office feeling 10x better than I walked in! Para los que nunca han experimentado un tratamiento de Reiki combinado con un masaje, les recomiendo agendar una cita con Angelica.
