We've also struggled with the dynamic between our two cats--our male cat would bully our female cat while we were out of town, which caused her to have litter box issues. Joanne and Michelle have taken care of our two cats multiple times over the past few months, and most recently Michelle noticed our elder cat with diabetes was not acting herself. She immediately informed us when her condition worsened, and after calling the vet to schedule a visit, and with practically zero prior notice, Joanne came and took our cat in. The quick response from Michelle and Joanne no doubt saved our cat's life, as she was starting to undergo diabetic ketoacidosis and needed to be transferred to the ER. Throughout the entire ordeal, they checked in with us as we rushed to come home early. They treated our cat as if she was a member of their family, and I'll always be indebted to their incredible compassion and care. With every visit, Michelle and Joanne always give us a quick rundown of how the visit went, and spend considerable effort to make sure both cats are fed and taken care of properly. Claudia watched my 14 year old furry best friend. She is very kind and gentle with pets. My dog was happy to meet her and settled down next to her as if she was an old friend. The next day when he saw Claudia again he was happy to see her and had no concerns about us leaving the hotel without him. Claudia is very trustworthy and has a calming, warm demeanor. She comes to sit at the hotel and brings her lunch, a book and she took him on a walk so he could use the restroom and stretch his legs. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely have her watch my dog again. If you are visiting Cambria, and have a furry family member that needs to be watched for a few hours, Claudia is the right person for the job.
