Claudia watched my 14 year old furry best friend. She is very kind and gentle with pets. My dog was happy to meet her and settled down next to her as if she was an old friend. The next day when he saw Claudia again he was happy to see her and had no concerns about us leaving the hotel without him. Claudia is very trustworthy and has a calming, warm demeanor. She comes to sit at the hotel and brings her lunch, a book and she took him on a walk so he could use the restroom and stretch his legs. I wish we lived closer because I would definitely have her watch my dog again. If you are visiting Cambria, and have a furry family member that needs to be watched for a few hours, Claudia is the right person for the job.

I live 40 minutes away and I still bring my pets to be seen there because I know that I can trust the people who work here. I brought home a puppy late last year (my first as an adult, I've either adopted cats or adult dogs) and I was a fish out of water. Alex was so excited to see my new addition, and Elizabeth was able to answer all of my questions about how to go about puppyhood since she, as she put it, "could treat me as a client vs someone who knew what to do". My tiny man is not so tiny anymore, but he still loves coming to see his friends. Honestly, all three of my dogs do. Whenever I come in with Hex (the puppy) I try to make sure it's a positive experience for him and last time we went he apparently just... melted in the treatment area for everyone for his exam. Our fun visits worked in my favor. Thank you, everyone for treating my babies so well!

However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house!
