However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house! Vacationing as a single person with a Border Collie is not without its challenges; thanks to Linda, I was in a better position to meet those challenges and have fun.

They could not be more personable and helpful and they knew our Dog right away and forever after. Our Dog shortly after moving here, got a cattail up her nose; a very dangerous thing and Dr Alwen arranged for us to get the best emergency surgery right away. He has never tried to upsell us to unnecessary procedures yet always has solutions and advice that have been sound. Another Plus it is a lovely setting to go to and never a parking hassle. I would put Edna Valley Vet Clinic operation as probably the best we have ever taken out Dog to and we recommend them highly.

Mary Kay has always been wonderful. She takes a personal and vested interest in the wellbeing of my babies and communicates frequently. This last 4th of July I was going to be out of town and leaving my dogs for the first time. They are terrified of fireworks and I too was terrified to leave them. I mentioned to Mary Kay that I was nervous and she immediately responded with a long, detailed and empathetic email addressing all of the ways they handled the dogs on the fourth to make sure they were comfortable, including having loud fans and putting on talk radio for the dogs. I greatly appreciated her long and thoughtful response and the actions they took to make the dogs comfortable. All of the other staff at this location have always been friendly, attentive and responsible. I have left my dogs here for weeks at a time and they are always happy and healthy when I pick them up. My dogs are also jumpers and diggers and the staff pays special attention to these concerns and put them in the jump proof play yard. The facility is wonderful, the staff is great, their prices are fair and I wouldn't board anywhere else. Jax followed her happily to the van and was happy while being groomed. None of the shaking and crying that I have experienced when taking him to a groomers. Jax is part terrier and does not like to have his feet touched. Julianna firmly and lovingly told him that teeth are not acceptable. The grooming was exactly what we asked for. Over a period of three weeks we consulted with Julie and at her recommendation a local Vet Hospital. Two vets at hospital, one renowned, could see nothing requiring surgery and chalked it up to old age, arthritis, and overly anxious owners. The behaviors continued and we asked Julie to take another look and showed her video of the behaviors. She came to our house again and spent almost two hours examining, watching, taking blood samples, and discussing. Finally, checked "one last thing." An inflamed vulva. Ointments and antibiotics were prescribed and our Kylie became the dog we knew once again within a short period of time. Thank you Dr. Bosserman for your persistence and love of animals!!!
