After an exhaustive search and more than 6 interviews of potential sitters, we hired Lisa to take care of our fur and feathered babies for us during the holiday season. She immediately bonded with my more discriminating pup who barks at everyone....except Lisa. He actually was cuddling with her during her interview! Lisa was punctual, not afraid to administer meds (including insulin injections), and spent time playing with and snuggling our dogs. She'll even walk them if you want. Great with the birds too! Going out of town for a week over the Holiday season with the whole family (who usually jumps in to help) caused so much anxiety in regards to the care for our fur babies. I can't say enough wonderful things about Lisa. She did an amazing job of looking after our dogs and cats for two weeks. I was worried about two of our dogs that require daily medication, including insulin shots, and one of our dogs has a terminal illness. Not to mention all our dogs eat different food and must be fed separately. Lisa had her hands full, but she did great. Lisa was great about sending updates with pictures and asking questions. Lisa is the best dog walker I've ever had, and I've had 6 in the past 10 years. Lisa has taken care of my 2 dogs and cat for 2 years and treats my animals the way I treat my animals, with love, kindness and care. Was referred to Westside Pets by a friend and I couldn't be happier. I was going out of town for a few days and my cat needs to be fed twice a day and meds in the am - Lisa (the owner) and her associate (Marisa) were the best. They came over beforehand to meet my cat - to get to know her a little better and to learn her habits and what she likes/doesn't like. They stayed for about 30 minutes on each visit while I was away and sent me pics/kept me updated the entire time. I felt super comfortable leaving my cat in their hands. Lisa is simply the best! She is great with our elderly cat. It's always hard to leave her, but we have peace of mind and know she is in great hands when Lisa is watching her. She administers several medications 2x a day, in addition to giving IV fluids (something not many people can do).
