Lucky is happier and so am I!

My dog came home from training well-behaved and obedient. I am very happy with their training.

Absolutely loved this place! The trainers were amazing from start to finish. We left our GSD (Capitan) here for 4 weeks and came back to a noticeably calmer, better-behaved pup. You can truly tell how passionate everyone is about what they do and how much they care for these dogs. The entire process was smooth, easy, and stress-free, and the team was always so helpful and supportive. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend them!

My dog was exhibiting behavior issues that reached a point where I desperately needed professional help. After searching online, I stumbled upon DoggieDoGood. Despite the long drive from my home in LA, I decided to give it a try. The facility and environment were appealing, and it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. DoggieDoGood provides an attentive and thorough training program that ensures your dog learns the basics of obedience. This fundamental knowledge allows for effective communication and trust-building, which is crucial for taking your dog out without any disruptions. I highly recommend DoggieDoGood. The staff and facility are exceptional, and they met every request on my "training wishlist." My dog has transformed into an absolute gentleman, and I'm grateful for the positive impact DoggieDoGood has had on our lives. I took him back for two weeks of boarding and the little guy was soooo excited to be back since I picked him up from bootcamp!!!!

I took my 6month old pup there and she is so much better!!! The Doggie Day Camp was extremely helpful! Me and my husband have seen so much improvement.

We have a 2 year old Boxer/Bull Mix that has lots of energy and a big heart but he needed some training so we enrolled him at Doggie Do Good for a three week over night camp. We were very pleased with the results, he is much more manageable and they did a good job in training us on how to reinforce the training they gave him. We also use their day care services, he comes home clean from his bath and tired from all the exercise. Highly recommend their services!

We sent our pup Benny for behavior camp. We appreciated the awesome communication from staff, including calling us to let us know another pup was sick but our boy was fine. The check out process was really interesting because it was pouring outside, I do wish different accommodations had been made for that type of weather (the pop up tents were literally flying); that is our only negative and hopefully good feedback for the future. However even the crappy weather did not stop our trainer from providing top notch instructions and helping in guiding us in all the training. Benny still has a lot of work to do but we feel very prepared and he really did learn so much in just 3 weeks, wish he'd stay a little longer to make sure it really sticks. Grateful for the boarding option as well to use in the future.

I'm so happy I took Chaya to Doggie camp! I feel so much more confident taking Chaya out to public. She listens to all her commands they taught her. Chaya and I practice everyday on her new skills.I definitely recommend taking your pup here! Chaya will be back for boarding, daycare and will be using all the benefit that come with the doggie do good camp! Thank you so much! And thank you Hannah for showing me her new skills on graduation day. I'm sure she misses you! Best, Adelle & Chaya

It is virtually impossible to write a review for Doggie Do Good because one cannot adequately put into words how incredible everything about the organization, the staff, the facilities, the training, the results, the follow-ups, the family, and the results is. From start to finish and beyond, the word we found ourselves saying about every detail of Doggie Do Good was (and still is) WOW! Entrusting your dog (whether he/she is a puppy, fully grown, or anywhere in between) to other people can be one of the biggest leaps of faith you could take as parents, but Doggie Do Good made us feel so comfortable and confident about the entire process before we even left to head to their wonderful HQ in Arroyo Grande that we were beaming with excitement about the experience each of our two puppies were set to enjoy. When we arrived, the intake process was not only as professional as one could imagine, but it was so loving and joyful that we knew from the get go that our pups were going to be surrounded by immeasurable adoration and attention the entire time they were away from us. Every single one of the staff members we interacted with were superb, and second to none. It almost feels like a disservice to focus on one staff member more than the others (because they are all that amazing), but we must give a very special shoutout to our pups' main trainer - Isaac. It would take a million years to say or write all of the phenomenal things we could say about Isaac. Not only is he the greatest trainer that anyone could ever dream up (if you tried to construct the perfect dog trainer in your mind), but he is a stellar human with the attitude, discipline, organization, follow-through, and drive to be able to succeed at the highest levels in anything in life. We can all be grateful (especially our dogs) that he decided to put his talents toward training animals. The training that our pups received over the weeks that they were with Isaac and the Doggie Do Good team was nothing short of transformative. When we dropped them up, they were rescue puppies who had been through quite a long and difficult journey on their way to being our fur children and were untrained and anxious (particularly with respect to being separated from us). They emerged from Doggie Do Good with more confidence than we have ever seen in most adult dogs, completely obedient of the practical and easily-enforceable commands that they had been taught, and with beautiful personalities that were endemic of the amount of love they had received every day since we dropped them off. After you receive your dogs post-training (at their facility or at your home via their amazing drop-off service), you may expect that your training experience/relationship with a service like this would end. We are thrilled to report that that is not the case with Doggie Do Good. It's quite the opposite. When your pups finish "camp", you all become part of the DDG extended family, and the staff and trainers (like Isaac for us) continue to check in with you regularly to see how your dogs are adapting and progressing. Again, you can clearly tell how much love exists with Doggie Do Good because the staff genuinely misses being around your pup(s) after they return them to you. We could not recommend Doggie Do Good more highly, no matter what your dog's needs might be, and we genuinely cannot wait to have our pups spend more time there (yet another one of their endless perks) if/when we ever need to take an international trip or if a necessity or opportunity arises.

Ask the Community - Doggie Do Good

Hello. We have an 8 year old Husky, an 8 year old Klee Kai and a 3 year old Yorkie. Do you actually do pet sitting in one's home ? eg... visiting the pups and walking them? We are usually away for an average of two to five days when we travel.

Hi Jennifer! We do not offer in-home pet sitting. We offer boarding services here at our facility for dogs whom have graduated our three week Doggie Camp training program. I am sorry we can't be of assistance.

Before camp, I could not walk Lily by another dog/any animal without her pulling and reacting towards the dog.

Sarah, the trainer, had the perfect background credentials, self-confidence and philosophy so I signed up my dog to be trained by her at the dog resort. The protocols for safety (physically and emotionally) at the facility are outstanding. Soon,I met with Sarah and she developed a training proposal which I approved. My dog came home from daycare TIRED and less clingy each time he went there. When his training was complete, I was shown how to do the trainer's commands and motions and now my dog's demeanor in our home and in public is calmer and our relationship is at a new level of trust and respect (both ways). I feel very pleased with both Lucky Dog and Sarah and highly recommend both for both daycare, boarding and training

That alone speaks volumes! He absolutely loves the dog pool parties, yard time, and group play with other dogs, but one of my favorite things as a pet parent is getting photo updates of his one-on-one enrichment sessions. Whether it's a cuddle session, a game of fetch, or some extra love and attention, it means the world to me to see him so engaged and joyful! Those updates are such a special touch, and they make me feel like I'm right there with him. The staff at Lucky Dog Pet Resort is amazing. They're kind and you can tell they genuinely care about every single dog. It doesn't feel like just another boarding facility, it feels like Sam is staying with people who know him and love having him there. The facility itself is beautiful, clean, secure, and clearly designed with dogs in mind. The play yards, pool area, and even the enrichment activities are what make Lucky Dog feel like a true luxury pet resort. I honestly wouldn't take Sam anywhere else! If you're in San Luis Obispo County and looking for the best dog daycare or overnight dog boarding, Lucky Dog Pet Resort is the place. I live in San Luis Obipso but driving to Lucky Dog is well worth the drive to know I have a peace of mind, happy dog, and a team that goes above and beyond!

Home Away From Home…read more.... Love Dogs Camp has made a big difference with our dog, Pugsley, since we moved to the area 6 years ago. He was rescued from the streets of San Jose at the age of 1. Before moving to Nipomo, we researched and visited many places offering daycare and boarding, but Carolyn at Love Dogs Camp gave us the most confidence. It offers Pugsley a great environment with no kennels, freedom to roam on 5 acres and the ability to socialize with both big and small dogs. Carolyn has a wonderful trainer - Brett - who's very knowledgeable about dog behavior and nutrition and helped Pugsley become less fearful of other dogs. Supervision is a priority and he is never left alone. Carolyn does a great job vetting new dogs and their owners to ensure compatibility with her existing clientele. She also provides healthy home cooked meals for the dogs at least once a day. Whether it's for just a day or a couple of weeks for vacation, we have no concern bringing Pugsley to Love Dogs Camp. It's his home away from home.

My granddaughter worked there a while ago and had no training and expected to get training, but didn't get any. Instead she was left along with the dogs. She wasn't even officially hired and paid in cash. She thought that was nice at first but then realized it was not legal. She said some dogs were out of control and she feared for the safety of the other dogs. The owner says everything right at first but talked down to my granddaughter and disrespected her. This is not a place I support.
