Then we adopted a cat from them, their cat room is amazing. So nice to get out there and be able to actively interact with multiple cats and meet one that fits you. We now have adopted another dog from them. It is great that they keep getting animals from other shelters and adopting them out. Our new dog had some stomach issues, but everything was clearly disclosed on the records and they send you home with everything you could need. The free vet check is a really nice plus. We look forward to joining the classes for our new dog once she is fully healthy and cleared to go. We enjoy supporting them through donations as well because they do such a great job.

Being that I was so new to the area, I didn't have any friends on the central coast that I knew or trusted well enough yet to come and check on my elderly cat and feed her. I did a little research and found Shelly. She was wonderful! She came over and did a consult with me about my cat and what was needed before I left. I was nervous about putting someone I had just met in charge of my kitty and giving a key to my house, but by the time she left I felt like my sweet fur baby was in good hands. And I was right! Shelly went above and beyond and took out the trash with the litter scoopings and brought in my mail which were things that I did not ask her to do. Plus she sent me daily reports, which really helped give me peach of mind. You know when you worry that the worst case scenario is going to happen you go out of town and your pet will get sick or (worst case scenraio) die? I know it's silly, but it's easy to worry about that and we've all heard those occasional terrible stories. Well Shelly's daily reports really put me at ease. I told myself everything is going to be okay and I don't need to be coddled, but it turns out that having the daily report really helps me! So I love that about her services. I had such a great experience with her that I used her the next time I needed to leave town, even though by then I had made friends with a neighbor I could have asked, but with Shelly I knew that my cat would be well taken care of and I could rest easy while out of town. I am not going to lie, we were nervous reading web page that dogs are unattended at times. Our pup is 6 months and has never been left unattended away from home. We got there and did a tour around 11. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and areas they had. We felt it was clean for the number dogs and locations they had. It appeared organized with knowledge of dogs and temperaments and who goes where. I did express several times, I was fine with Stanley being left in a kennel by himself. We were only going to be gone for a few hours and was concerned with just the 2 staff folks there and all the areas for dogs to play. It does seem they have regulars so know the dogs well and who would play well, with whom. I appreciate the ability to text. I checked in about an hour after we left, all was well. I received a text a couple of hours with a short video of him smelling an area with another dog. I was a bit concerned they took him out with another dog but thankfully, he was fine in video and when I picked him up. I am definitely a helicopter mom and worry but I would have hoped my wishes were honored, of him being alone. I was able to enjoy by time zip lining while my boy was watched. I did not find it dirty, I felt for a huge kennel, it was fine for me. Kennels are going to smell and get dirty & maybe there could be more staff but I would recommend them. The only suggestion, if you are adamant about something-get their commitment they can deliver. Again, Stan was fine and it is my own issues to some degree but had something happened, we know the review would have been different.

On top of that, after the purchase, without hesitating she walked it to my car for me!!! This afternoon (6 April 2025), I took two of my dogs to the VIP pet care location at Lemos in Atascadero. I arrived at 3 p.m. to get in line (as I realized that it was important to arrive early--based on past experience). The VIP pet care van arrived late, was late setting up, and announced a "new" procedure for checking in. Everybody had to scan a QRC code. Was this information made available for past clients, such as myself, somewhere? Long story short: I arrived at 3 p.m. with dogs and was only seen by a veterinarian after 5 p.m. Almost everybody in the line was furious at the completely disorganized way the vet clinic this afternoon was conducted. To add insult to injury: one of my dogs was given a bordatella (nasal) vaccine that was not on the "confirmed" list of what was needed. What the HELL is going on with VIP pet care? I--like many of the 30+ people who waited in line with me this afternoon--will likely be taking our business elsewhere.

Really I'm the one thats out the money because they typed it in on there iPad wrong it looks like there books are correct but i had the change right in front of them they are the ones that stole from me i am very disappointed and will never go back horrible customer service with the corporate supervisor i am appalled. HORRIBLE!!!! Well you cant reply to messages so i will just update here. Yes i was shorted if i wasn't then i would not be making such a big deal about it. I didn't drop it i didn't misplace it. your employee must have typed the wrong numbers into the little iPad thing that they use and might i say that she did give me 2 $5.00 and the rest were $1.00 bills i gave her a $100.00 bill so yes it would have been very easy for her to get confused and type in the wrong thing or maybe even it got misplaced on there side. I still have the exact amount of money in the exact spot hasn't been tampered with . i didn't move the money at all i counted it and it was wrong! I think if you actually look into my transaction you will see that she did not say i gave her $100.00 when i did and i indeed was shorted 10.00. And the manager of lemos thought this whole ordeal was so messed up that she gave me $10.00 of her own money to make up my deficit it was clear as day that i got shorted the 10.00 went somewhere maybe someone on your side misplaced it because she said she gave me 2 $5.00 $47.00 in $1.00 bills when i counted it there was only2 $5.00 and $37.00 in $1.00 bills you do the math maybe she misplaced it before she gave it to me? If i ever get my money back i will use it to pay back the manager at lemos.
