However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house! Vacationing as a single person with a Border Collie is not without its challenges; thanks to Linda, I was in a better position to meet those challenges and have fun.

Totally not cool and very unprofessional, especially since it's been 1 1/2 years since she has seen my dogs. How can anyone trust someone who does that? Destiny helped set us up and gave us all the info we needed to make us feel secure sending our quirky dog off to camp. Destiny has extraordinary attention to detail! Along the way we got frequent updates, reports and pictures of our little guy off at camp. He was getting lots of love and attention and even made new friends. Thank you Gerianne for loving our dog and teaching him how to get along with others. We did not get to meet one of his favorite trainers Josué, but we are so happy with the results of the hard work Josué put in. The transition at pick up was done expertly by Santigo! He really made sure that we felt comfortable and confident when came to us taking over all the training our dog learned. We will definitely be bringing our dog back for boarding care when we are out of town. We would 100% recommend anyone bring their dog here for top tier training.

It's a great way to brush up on all the skills we all learned. Special shout out to Santiago for training me and my husband so we can be the best dog parents for our furry kid.

Joanne and Michelle have taken care of our two cats multiple times over the past few months, and most recently Michelle noticed our elder cat with diabetes was not acting herself. She immediately informed us when her condition worsened, and after calling the vet to schedule a visit, and with practically zero prior notice, Joanne came and took our cat in. The quick response from Michelle and Joanne no doubt saved our cat's life, as she was starting to undergo diabetic ketoacidosis and needed to be transferred to the ER. Throughout the entire ordeal, they checked in with us as we rushed to come home early. They treated our cat as if she was a member of their family, and I'll always be indebted to their incredible compassion and care. With every visit, Michelle and Joanne always give us a quick rundown of how the visit went, and spend considerable effort to make sure both cats are fed and taken care of properly. After having experienced several less attentive sitters, the team at Posh Pet Sitting are simply among the best when it comes to caring for your pets while you're away. I wholeheartedly recommend their services and again, I can't thank them enough for their amazing care. Thank you!!

Home Away From Home…read more.... Love Dogs Camp has made a big difference with our dog, Pugsley, since we moved to the area 6 years ago. He was rescued from the streets of San Jose at the age of 1. Before moving to Nipomo, we researched and visited many places offering daycare and boarding, but Carolyn at Love Dogs Camp gave us the most confidence. It offers Pugsley a great environment with no kennels, freedom to roam on 5 acres and the ability to socialize with both big and small dogs. Carolyn has a wonderful trainer - Brett - who's very knowledgeable about dog behavior and nutrition and helped Pugsley become less fearful of other dogs. Supervision is a priority and he is never left alone. Carolyn does a great job vetting new dogs and their owners to ensure compatibility with her existing clientele. She also provides healthy home cooked meals for the dogs at least once a day. Whether it's for just a day or a couple of weeks for vacation, we have no concern bringing Pugsley to Love Dogs Camp. It's his home away from home.
