Excellent experience with Shelly Perry Photography! We had a surprise request for professional photos for a work project, so I turned to yelp to see where to go. Shelley Perry had awesome professional portraits which is what I was looking for. Lots of great background and lighting option, and I love that she gives the option for different looks and outfits. I sent a message on yelp in the middle of the night, and she responded within hours stating she was available the very next day, which is exactly what I was looking for. She accommodated us with the time and was super easy to communicate with. The shoot went great and we got so much accomplished in a short amount of time! The proofs are amazing! We definitely have our professional photographer locked down for all future picture needs! read more

This was a fantastic photo experience! If you are nervous at all, Richelle and Kim will make you feel at home. They take so many photos to choose from with different backgrounds and you can change outfits. You really feel at ease during the photo session, lots of laughing and all around fun during the time you have with them. You don't have bright lights in your eyes and you're not in a room with just a backdrop like you're in a corporate store. The photo edits are fantastic and they really do make you look like a model. Delivery of the photos was fast and would totally recommend for a business or fun session. read more

Shelly we knew off the bat was going to be an amazing person to work with. Upon our arrival, we saw some of her amazing portfolio pictures which helped us gain a better understanding of what we wanted. She had such vibrant ideas as to how we can use natural lighting and our positions for our engagement photos. Being so shy with the camera, (both my fiance and I) Richelle was a great leader and made us feel comfortable and authentic in our poses. She directed us and made us feel at home. I am very pleased with my photographer and her photos. She takes her work very seriously and is a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her for engagement photos and head shots. Thanks again Richelle! read more

I recently wanted to updated my professional "head-shots" and was having a tough time finding someone that I liked and was reasonably priced. From the moment I walked into Shelly's space, I felt at ease about using her for my professional pictures! She went above and beyond by taking me to a few locations around Downtown to get the perfect back drops/light combinations. As an Architectural Designer, I wanted a lot of unique texture, and she was able to create a few different settings that worked really well for me. After I got my proofs back, she really didn't disappoint, they were amazing! For any professional that needs a "head-shot" photographer, I would highly recommend Shelly Perry Photography! read more

My experience with Shelly Perry and her team was outstanding. I needed a quick turnaround for a new professional headshot and sent an appointment request online. I received a call from Clinton first thing the next morning to confirm and he quickly sent all the details I needed. The session was fun and relaxed and the proofs were returned for my review much faster than estimated. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and with the whole experience. I also took advantage of having my make-up done - Lena was a joy to work with and shows great artistry and experience in her craft. Shelly is a very talented photographer and I highly recommend her for your photo needs. You will be pleased. read more

Prepare yourself for an absolute experience. I've had the honor of shooting with a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, and this young lady is next in line. From the moment you meet her, you feel like you should be winning an Academy award.. you feel like a complete rockstar when you are around her. She brings the positive vibes.. music included, and when you see her reacting to a fantastic shot (that she just created) her energy kicks up even higher than you've previously seen it, and then you think to yourself, "Holy crap, I look good! I look really damn good!!" When she is photographing you, you'll start to vibe off of her! Its like you're with someone you've known for years. There may be people walking.. staring and watching you getting your photo taken, but that doesn't matter because she has put you in the zone she is almost like a hypnotist! When you hear the lens click, you know that's your cue. I can't say enough about this lady.. I spent an afternoon shooting with her, and her personality is very very addictive! Now I'm looking for reasons to have my picture taken! Another thing that I can say is if she photographs you.. she will captivate your soul, turning it into something beautiful, and then you will find yourself coming back for more and more. Thank You So Much. I have been a wheelchair for 35 years, and at one time in my life I had a problem with people looking at me, I got over that a long time ago.. but when Richelle shoots you, you get swagger that makes you say to yourself, "Look over here, because baby.. I'm a star." THANK YOU. read more

I wanted to make sure I got this review up as I am so THANKFUL I GOT this done for myself. First of all, let me say that I am awful in front of a camera and I would just use pictures of me at performances as I have always hated being in front of a camera. Richelle instantly put me at ease and I did something I've never done while shooting pictures I actually had FUN. She and I worked for as long as I felt comfortable and the pictures that she sent me when I was done were so sick! I've been using them in all of my promo and I'm getting a ton of amazing comments, but most importantly bookings. Thank you guys soo much I can't thank you enough!! Can't wait to see the rest of the photos as well!! -SammyT aka ShoeboxMoses read more

I will most certainly use Shelly Perry Photography again for future photoshoot needs! read more

So first off I want to say that Shelly is wonderful. She has this energetic charisma that brings life to the shoot and makes it fun so you come out of your shell. Typically I'm very reserved and quite but she made feel at ease without feeling too self conscious in front of her camera. I'd loved my experience I shared with Shelly during the shoot. I'm looking forward to the next time I need headshots. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

Rachelle is seriously great! Not just for headshots or modeling portfolios, but she was totally open to working with me and my husband for a maternity shoot. She was flexible to reschedule when the weather didn't work in our favor and wanted to make sure we'd love our photos - which we do! We are by no means comfortable in front of the camera but she worked hard to make us feel at ease and took TONS of photos. We even looked at inspiration pics together to find great options for poses. She was fun and friendly, patient and so talented! The photos turned out so well and we've gotten tons of compliments! Thank you Rachelle, it was such a pleasure working with you! read more

Shelly and Clinton made my first actor headshot experience wonderful. Very easy to work with and helped me to understand what I needed to be doing and made the process simple. The turnaround time is also very fast (same day) with recommendations in case you weren't really sure which to pick like was the case for me. Overall, great time and great results and look forward to working with them again in the future when I need updated headshots. read more

ShelIy really is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I was fortunate enough to work with Shelly recently and I ADORE her and her talent!! I am by no means a model, or someone comfortable in front of a camera, but Shelly made me feel relaxed, and even played my favorite music to help set the tone for the shoot. She was amazing with direction that helped get me into poses that resulted in breathtaking shots, that felt natural and fun. She is TRUELY gifted at what she does. I've worked with other photographers in the past, but Shelly is seriously the ONLY one who delivered what I wanted. She has amazing energy, and makes you feel at ease, which results in the most beautiful shots. I loved my experience of working with Shelly, she really is the epitome of what you need and want in a photographer. Seriously, what I want you to take away from this review is: BOOK WITH SHELLY!! I had the most fun shooting with Shelly and her team! They made me feel so comfortable and made me look my best for my headshots. Shelly also helped me with selecting my wardrobe and coached me as I was shooting. I can't recommend Shelly Perry Photography enough! No matter what type of photos you're looking for, they'll help you get the best shots. I ended up with a huge number of photos to pick from and it was so hard to narrow them down because so many were amazing - can't ask for much more than that out of a shoot!!! read more

I was well overdue for a professional headshot and in the past I had either used a camera phone or the photographer that would show up once a year at our corporate office who takes about 3 photos and you're done. I'm so glad I decided to go with Shelly this time. For someone who is not used to being in front of the camera often, taking the time and money to go with Shelly was worth every penny. She did a great job getting me to relax with something outside my comfort zone and the photos came out excellent as a result. I had dozens of photos to choose from after our hour of shooting. All in all it was a great experience and investment. read more

I am so incredibly impressed with the entire experience of getting professional headshots done by Shelly Perry Photography. I was making a move with my job and wanted to finally have a decent headshot to represent myself. I did a TON of research and was first impressed with the website alone compared to so many other photography companies with poor websites and navigation. The communication between myself and Clinton when coordinating the shoot was easy, fluid and extremely professional, which I greatly respect with a business. The day of the shoot, I was nervous because I'm not good at taking pictures... Shelly, gave me the easiest advice and made me feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. I just got the link to my pictures and I AM BLOWN AWAY! She did an amazing job, and I love them all. I highly recommend Shelly Perry Photography 110%. Thank you, Shelly! read more

Shelly and her team are awesome! I usually hate most photos of myself, and when I found out my employer hired Shelly for our corporate website pics, a sense of dread came over me. All of that was for nothing though. Shelly put me at total ease and I am surprisingly pleased with the outcome. I'm not surprised because of Shelly, but because I actually really liked photos of me. In speaking with my colleagues who were also part of the shoot, all of them had a similar experience. I would recommend Shelly Perry Photography looking for a quality, relaxed experience. read more

Shelly perry photography is an excellent and professional empire built by rachelle and her assistant Kim. Being in the industry for a while it's an anomaly to have the pleasure to work with such young and professional ladies. They made me feel at home and were excellent at communicating on camera directions and setting an environment that makes being behind the camera a breeze. These two ladies are not only as professional and talented as they come but they're also wonderful people and extremely agreeable. I am in love with all of the photos sent back and still dumbfounded at the amount of talent both of these ladies have. read more
