I 100% recommend Daylene and Co Photography! Our wedding photos came out beautiful! We mainly worked with Tess for our engagement shoot, bridal portraits and wedding. We also had a second photographer for our wedding and his name is John! The day of our wedding was a little wild for many reasons- it was freezing, we had to take chairlifts, up in the mountains, and like most weddings: we were rushed. Tess and John were able to adapt and shoot away even with the rushing and circumstances that come with weddings. You can tell they are passionate and professional. Amelia is the main point of contact for Daylene and Co and she has gone above and beyond to make sure we are 100% happy. It's hard to find businesses with this level of customer satisfaction commitment now a days. I am a perfectionist and am notoriously hard to please. We are very satisfied at how the pictures tell a story of our day. We received our photos two weeks after our wedding- that's extremely fast! Daylene is phenomenal, truly one of a kind. When we started to look at photographers for our destination wedding we knew we wanted someone that was fun, could be herself around us, and would allow us to be ourselves with her. Daylene also has a unique ability to serve as a calming presence while still handling all of the unforeseen issues a wedding day brings. This might sound like an oxymoron, but this trait most of all helped our wedding day memories to be nothing but positive. Like all lucky weddings, it rained on our wedding day. I was not excited for the weather, but Daylene arrived prepared in her rain coat and boots and with an upbeat spirit that literally wiped all concern away. She was positive about the clouds making for great photos, and immediately began problem-solving how we would still capture excellent photos in buildings around the property where our wedding was held. Daylene also watched the weather like a hawk and sought out tree-covered areas where we could get beautiful shots in the natural surroundings without getting wet. She also rallied the bridal party at an opportune time when there was a break in the rain, so we could get group shots. Additionally, Daylene was very attune to the dynamics of my family members, and when she saw I was getting stressed out, she cunningly swept me away "for photos," which provided me with the little breaks that all brides need on their big day. I appreciated how Daylene kept things moving and could think on her feet when things were less than ideal, and did all of this with an upbeat attitude! With so many things to plan and worry about, we never thought twice about our photographs, we knew they would be breathtaking. I am an amateur photographer and was pretty picky when choosing a photographer. We looked at practically everyone in Colorado and was most impressed with the combination of talent/vision/price Daylene offered. We were worried about spending too much or little of our budget on photos, but we made the right decision and wouldn't change a thing. From our first Skype meeting with Daylene, she was amazing. She made us feel completely relaxed and at ease We are pretty private people, but Daylene made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera! She has a way of making you smile and laugh and forget she is snapping pictures. Before we found Daylene, we were worried about having generic wedding photos - poses that everyone uses, unoriginal, boring. We wanted someone with a vision and talent for making photos, not just taking photos. From the engagement photos on we got original, creative photos. She has an ability to make really interesting photos out of nearly every situation/scene. You don't want someone who recycles the same photo at every wedding and that is not what you will get with Daylene.
