Will absolutely book again! Stephanie did an excellent job with my father and his two young grandsons that run around like wild maniacs. We met her at Sloan's Lake and she had a route mapped out for us to take photos. We were there on a blazing hot summer day and she kept that in mind and made sure we had shaded options! She turned over the photos so quickly and they came out so wonderfully. I would recommend her for any photo needs with a special recommendation for anyone with small kids who take extra patience. She didn't flich when our toddler was protesting and was still able to get some really great photos inbetween meltdowns. read more

Stephanie is a JOY to work with. She managed to wrangle my extended family of 13 to get beautiful whole group photos, fun kids photos, and much much more. Very easy to set up appointments and knows lots of great spots. This is our third time using her, and each time, she produces beautiful photographs that show us in our best light while also showing our personalities. She manages to make the shoots fun, even with kids (2, 5, and 7). Can't recommend her more! read more

Oh my goodness I cannot say enough wonderful things about Stephanie Marilee Tucker!! I was looking for someone to do funny, silly portraits of my kids to print poster-size for a wall, and I wasn't sure whether this type of photographer existed. Capturing kids' personalities is a talent, and it's not easy to find. But Stephanie was amazing! Being a mom herself, she put my kids at ease, made them laugh, played with them, and even offered them snacks. She was so laid back and flexible, and we had such a fun time with her. I was blown away by how many wonderful photos she got of the two kids, absolutely floored. She went above and beyond and even mocked them up in two different poster sizes on my wall. And delivered them all in color and black/white. I am so thankful, Stephanie, and cannot wait to do photos with you again! read more

I was able to take advantage of a mini photo session with Stephanie, and she definitely did not disappoint. I wasn't sure what to expect, as this was the first time getting professional photos, but Stephanie was very helpful with advising on wardrobe and what would photograph well for all of us. I went back and forth on the outfits and she was very great at giving me feedback. She also had a Pinterest wall with her outfit recommendations, which I found very helpful. On the day of the actual photo shoot, her assistant met us and was able to go over any last minute details (like making sure we put money in the meter, which I'm glad she reminded us about because we happened to be running late that day). I'm glad that her assistant had a sign- which made it easier to figure out who we were meeting up with. Stephanie was finishing up with another client when we arrived, and then we were her last appointment for the day. I was glad that the weather actually cooperated and there was a perfect sky and no fog on the horizon. Since we had twins who were young (9 months) Stephanie and was great at moving fast to try and capture the moment. It was a lot of fun participating in the shoot, and I loved that she improvised and let us improvise as well. Overall, I like that Stephanie was very professional and organized from start to finish, which is a great asset to have. She also took some great photos as well! I'm highly pleased with our final product, and definitely recommend and look forward to working with her again for our next milestone! read more

I was so incredibly happy with not only the pictures we got back from Stephanie, but her WHOLE ENTIRE VIBE! She has small kids at home, and new exactly what to do to help my shy son open up. It was absolutely amazing, and he still talks about her to this day! I also appreciated that she snuck really sweet candids of my husband and I that I am going to cherish forever. You won't be disappointed choosing her for pics of any kind! read more

We had family portraits done by Stephanie with our first son in San Francisco. She also documented his 1st birthday party (it was a big one!). We LOVED how everything turned out. Booking with her was fast and easy, and delivery was timely. She was great to work with, had fun ideas for shots, was courteous and kind to our guests when grabbing photos of them and was great working with children. Stephanie at Marilee is so wonderful to work with! She photographed an enormous amount of our YellowDog Design, Print, Marketing work (both 2D and 3D pieces) for our website portfolio and everything looked incredible. She also came to our office and did headshots and group photography of our 20 employees and 3 dogs - what a crew she wrangled! She kept things moving and kept us all very happy and positive on one of the hottest days of the summer. We were WOWED with the results! If you are camera shy like me, then Stephanie is your girl! Stephanie came to the session with so many fun ideas for headshots, as well as props and even some wardrobe options! She then guided me through various settings and poses that would project the professional, yet friendly image I was going for. I hate being in front of the camera, but Stephanie's smile and positive commentary made it not just bearable, but even fun! She helped me select a few of my best shots and I had the finished photos in my inbox by the end of the day. I can't recommend her highly enough! read more

Stephanie is amazing and incredibly talented at what she does. I don't like to have my picture taken and she made me very comfortable. She has an infectious laugh that makes one feel so at ease you forget you're in front of the camera. I live in Washington State and was gifted this opportunity with Stepanie through a volunteer organization I work with and wish I lived closer to Denver now! I would love to be able to commission her to do a session with my husband and me. I truly cannot say enough good things about her and her work, you will NOT be disappointed! read more

AMAZING experience!! My wife and I hadn't put much thought into our newborn shoot, and even decided a bit last minute to do one. Stephanie filled in all of our poor planning. She came by our apartment for a meet-and-great, scouted our apartment for shooting locations, and even came into our closet (at our request) to help us pick out clothing. The next morning she came prepared with a handful of wraps and other props, as well as 3 hours worth of ideas for photos. The final products are better than we could have ever hoped for. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who wants a fun, relaxed, and super professional photographer to capture those special early weeks with a new child. read more

She has an amazing turnaround (less than a week!) and is so easy to work with (email/text/phone and square payment system - wohoo)! We found Stephanie after looking through at least a dozen websites and her family portraits stood out to us. She's very friendly and laid back, and after the shoot even our kids talked about how nice she was. We received a great mix of natural, editorial photos and more formal posed shots, which is exactly what we were looking for. Unlike some other photographers, she also had an assistant that held a light reflector, some of our belongings, helped get the kids to smile and checked for out of place hair/clothing, etc. This made for a high quality and efficiently run shoot. Stephanie put a lot of thought into getting the best light, and it came out in the amazing photos. She emailed us edited proofs in a few days and was extremely responsive and accommodating when we asked for a photo to be cropped-- excellent customer service! We would recommend her to anyone looking for a family photographer in the Bay Area. read more
