The best wedding photographer in Texas! Caroline photographed our friends wedding in August. We saw the photos from their bridal portraits and the wedding and decided on the spot that she would be our wedding photographer as well. Caroline was very easy to work with and clearly loved her job. She called to interview us so she could get a feel for who we were and the photos she took reflect the care she puts into them. Each of the photos she took captured not just an event but the personality and energy of the moment. I highly recommend Sweet Caroline Photo for any event and especially weddings! read more

Holy shit... Holy jeez... I cannot believe my wedding photos. I could not believe how cool Caroline and her assistant Francis are. I am flabbergasted and in awe, and *everyone* is oohing and ahhing over the hundreds of photos we got. Everyone is using them for holiday cards etc. These photos could easily be published in any pro bridal or photography publication, they are flawless and moving. They captured every special moment there was to be captured, I'll treasure their work for a lifetime. Do. Not. Hesitate. These are your photographers. Find room in the budget. Sacrifice those chair covers if you have to, they're worth *every *damn penny. read more

Most. Amazing. Wedding photos. EVER. Caroline and Ben captured pure joy and jubilance on every single face that night (which is a bit of a task for almost 300 people). I still cry every time I look at them. I've had such a hard time putting into words how incredibly amazing they are. Guests at the wedding kept saying how Ben & Caroline were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Photo Ninjas! Some choice quotes after we received and posted our wedding photos: "I'm going to print out ALL of your wedding photos and hang them in my house, even pictures of the beautiful people I don't know." -Sister in Law "wow these are some of the best photos from an event that i've ever seen. I wasn't there but you captured something so special" -somebody I don't know Ben and Caroline- there's nobody better. Period. read more

Sweeeeet Carolineeeee!! (dun dun dunnnnnn) Caroline did such a FANTASTIC job with our engagement pictures, my fiance and and I couldn't be more thrilled about how they turned out! We still have a little way to go before the actual wedding day (which she is going to capture, of course) but I am positive those will be just as awesome. Caroline has a great artistic flair that she adds to the pictures--- (as opposed to some people with an expensive camera calling themselves 'photographers' for taking a close up picture of a ring). I searched high and low through the lists Austin wedding photographers and it didn't take long for me to be impressed by her work and contact her. And she is quick to respond to queries, very personable, competitively priced, and most of all has a great talent. She was even willing to allow us to get water near her badazz equipment! (we had a water balloon engagement session, check it out!: http://sweetcarolinephoto.com/2011/03/17/waterballoon-engagements-lora-derek-2/) You can bank on me telling my friends to book with Sweet Caroline! read more

I can't say how happy I am with the work that Caroline did for us. Our engagement photos and wedding photos are phenomenal and we've had more compliments on our wedding photographer than on any other aspect of the whole event. Caroline was extremely professional and easy to deal with. I'm amazed by how talented she is and will heartily recommend her services to any future brides to be! read more

Caroline is my dream wedding photographer! Though initially, it just didn't seem like our budget could swing it. We went with a different wedding photographer in the Austin area and regretted it as soon as we saw our engagement pictures. We should have just hired Caroline right away, you get what you pay for! We did our engagement pictures over with Caroline and they were so incredible. My husband really hates having his picture taken and Caroline made him feel comfortable and captured him as I see him, which is usually not ever seen in photos because he's scowling. We had an incredibly intimate wedding of 24 guests and many later upon seeing our wedding photos commented to us how they hadn't noticed Caroline and her 2nd shooter Adam moving around to get all the beautiful shots they took. Caroline is all about capturing the moment without intruding. Our photos are timeless and the very definition of priceless. We are SO happy that we made it work within our budget (which was very small compared to the typical wedding) and that Caroline captured this amazing, whirlwind day of our lives so well. read more

Caroline and her assistant were wonderful! We would highly recommend her to other couples. She was efficient with family group photos, which saved us time to celebrate with our wedding party. She also has a thorough questionnaire that we filled out before the wedding, which helped her capture certain photos and events that we wanted. The main thing that drew me to her was her artistic eye that is different from most other standard photographers. She also has a talent for taking photos in low-light, which is not the case for some other photographers I looked at. Would highly recommend, Caroline is great! read more

Caroline + Ben did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding experience from the engagement photo sessions to the wedding photos. We couldn't have picked a more creative and professional photographer. We had many compliments from wedding guests on how efficient and professional Ben was in taking the photos and very impressed by the angles he shot at and how much effort he put into the entire wedding. We gave him a little direction on our style when we first met and he completely exceeded our expectations. He's definitely an award winning photographer who we felt very lucky to have work with us. He's also a genuine, kind person and accommodating to our schedules. We hope other couples get to experience Ben + Caroline because he has made our wedding experience more fun and memorable than we could have ever hoped for. read more

I don't even know where to start describing just how amazing Caroline is. Her work not only speaks for itself, but she is so nice too. Every single shot she takes captures the emotions and activities of the day so beautifully it's like being able to relive it all over again. I've had so many compliments about the photos, she truly is an artist. She was extremely helpful in coordinating the flow of the day as well. I would recommend her a thousand times over and wish I could have her there for every special moment now lol. Do yourself a favor and just hire her now, you will be so happy with your decision! read more

Caroline did an amazing job at my daughter's wedding. I have only seen one photo, but it is a stunner. She is using it currently as her cover page on facebook. Wow! Of course the bride is beautiful, (pround mom!) but this photo is unbelievable! I cannot wait to see the rest! She understood my daughter's vision and I know the photos will be amazing! Thank you for capturing a magical evening! read more

I wish there was a 10th star because Caroline and Ben would take every star and whistle I could come up with! You can find them under Caroline's Collective now. They photographed our wedding and did a more than spectacular job. I think I cried more seeing the photos than at the wedding because I was able to feel how everyone else experienced our wedding. They were totally flexible with our wedding style and really made my husband feel comfortable, HE HATES taking photos. He looked great and felt relaxed thanks to them! Caroline and Ben were both exceptionally charming and fun as well. I recommend them more than I can express. Every penny is worth it because they capture the true candid shots we all want, not just the portraits. I wish we could be friends with these two, they are the best! read more

A friend of ours is getting married in 2013 and they asked around for photographers that they might like. They mentioned Caroline (was Sweet Caroline a couple of years ago) and noted the reviews on here so here I am to check it out and to add my 2 cents. Personally we have heard some really nice praises for Caroline. We also attended one of the weddings that she was the photographer in 2010. It seems that she delivers very good work but like one reviewers on here, Marsha, we didn't have a good experience with her personally. When guests ask for a photo of them, particularly an older family uncle during the reception, we didn't expect to be treated with disrespect. I do understand that she works for the couple but instead of just letting us know she is busy, she acted like we didn't matter. She also said she will come back later but she never did. While so while I like her photos, I just can't recommend to a friend who is getting married to hire her. read more

Caroline is amazing! She did my engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures. My pictures are beautiful, the price was affordable (for the quality, it was ridiculously affordable), and she is really fun to work with. I can't express how many compliments I get on my pictures. I LOVED my experience with her. read more

These two have the ability to turn the simplest shot into a beautiful masterpiece. Our engagement pictures are so gorgeous that I don't know how I'm going to narrow down a favorite for our Save The Date. Caroline and Ben are truly amazing, I promise you won't be disappointed! read more

Put briefly, Caroline + Ben are simply amazing!! HIRE THEM!! But of course more detail is needed: When my wife and I started researching photographers, we started online and narrowed it down to a few whose styles we really enjoyed. Caroline + Ben were already our top pick. So, then we started talking to some friends who had recently gotten married. One friend had used someone else and we asked her about her experience. In short, she said " was OK but looking back, I wish I had gone with my first choice, Caroline + Ben." Then our decision was basically made. We then scheduled an appointment to meet with Caroline and Ben both in person. We immediately bonded with them. We talked about our mutual love of travel and their love story. The love they share for each other was easily visible. My wife and I made the decision to pay a little more to have both Caroline and Ben present instead of one or the other and an assistant...BEST.DECISION.EVER! Because they have such a sweet love together, the way they work together as a team is just as awesome. I have to advise new couples...there is always nervousness in between when the wedding is over and when you receive pictures. Looking back, the funny thing for me was thinking, "Where were they all night?" But then we received the pictures and we were blown away. They were clearly EVERYWHERE!! I thought to myself, "How did they do all that?" When we looked at the very intimate moments they captured during the wedding ceremony, I am still amazed because I didn't even realize they were there! And then at the reception...amazing again! When I think about all the times I have tried photographing a group, you usually catch people with the worst facial expressions. But with Caroline + Ben, they have this uncanny skill of capturing everyone at their very best - smiles, laughter, hugs, tears - every amazing moment! My wife and I literally looked through the pictures over and over again. It was really like reliving the entire day. My advice: HIRE Caroline + Ben!!! Their strength is that they are storytellers through photography. When you look back on your wedding, the small details - the setting, the flowers, the candles, and the cake - none of those will matter anymore. The emotions are what you'll remember. Caroline + Ben capture those emotions for you so beautifully and you can relive your wedding day over and over through their work. read more

We could not be happier with our experience with Caroline + Ben Photography and the work they did for our wedding! They perfectly captured the story behind our weekend, the most special planned moments as well as so many beautiful candid moments. They have a true vision for the emotions and connections taking place at weddings, and capture them effortlessly. So many people have commented on how even though they weren't at the wedding, they felt like they lived every minute of the day through the incredible photos. Several have even admitted to crying watching the slideshow :) They still bring me to tears after 6 months looking through them all. Caroline and Ben are a joy to work with and I would recommend them for anybody looking for a wedding photographer. Snatch them up before they're booked for your big day! They were my favorite vendor to work with throughout the entire process! read more
