Let me tell you about Frances Photography by starting out saying that I am a gargoyle... just a mess of a man. I've been working with Frances for 7 years since my engagement shoot and, to this day, Frances is one of the only photographers that whose work doesn't make me look like I just crawled out from under a bridge where I work full time asking riddles and eating children who don't solve my "riddles three." Kidding aside, I am always amazed by the way Frances can capture not just the beauty of the moment but the feeling as well. When I refer back to her work for me and my family, I am constantly impressed not just by the color and composition of her work but how the emotion of the moment seems to come through as well. I've worked with other photographers and none seem match what I see from Frances. I also know that Frances takes tremendous pride in her art and her work and is always more that willing to bend over backward to make your shots exactly how you want them. I've never had a bad experience with Frances, no one who I've referred to Frances has ever bad experience with her. I guess that's why venues, wedding planners and like all have her at the top of their referral lists. Please keep in mind, as I often do, that when you're working with a photographer there's not much that can be done to fix ugly. So if you got a mug on you, like I do, you can't blame the photographer for ugly pictures. The pictures aren't ugly, your face is. But, in my case, every time, Frances seems to bring out the beauty and the passion of the moment thereby transforming me from my resting state which is just above a Skarlak but slightly below Leatherface. Anyone that can get a two year old to pose for a camera for 20 minutes deserves a medal. Anyone that can get a two year old to smile (genuinely) AND make the parents look like they aren't going to freak out at any moment deserves a private concert from Justin Timberlake. When we set out to take our most recent family photos, I was so frazzled that I was horrified that we would end up looking like a Simpsons family photo where Homer is choking Bart or an awkward family photo birthday card. After a long battle of convincing my two year old that she could not wear her over-sized star wars t-shirt in our family photo, I barely had enough time to even put on makeup. My husband, by this point, wanted to cut and run for Mexico. Needless to say, it would take a miracle to make this family look like the loving family we are. When Frances arrived at our house, she sensed the tension immediately and injected some much needed humor into the situation. By the time we were taking pictures we were all laughing and smiling again. The pictures turned out brilliantly and the day was saved by this superstar photographer! Frances has been capturing our family for the last 7 years, starting with our engagement session. I would not entrust anyone else with these special memories. I already have her on retainer for baby #2! As far as I am concerned, the photos are priceless. Her pictures are in bound albums, on large canvases, and even on ornaments!! I have had the pleasure of working with Frances for almost 10 years and in that time she has never let myself or any of my very happy clients down. I am picky when it comes to photography as I work in Marketing and oversea photo shoots for my job. I decided to have a destination wedding and it was a little nerve racking having to choose a photographer from Miami. I searched and reviewed many website but Frances caught my eye as she had so many images that captured the moment and didn't have the typical cookie cutter generic images but ones that told the story of the day. She has taken photos of both my baby boys since birth and I am SO THANKFUL to have these images as I will cherish them for a lifetime.
