I am so thrilled and happy with my experience and photos! Seeing my photos afterwards was such a rewarding experience. It is an experience like no other! It's like having a fun photoshoot with your best friend. The energy and vibe was fun and freeing, but also familiar. I felt so comfortable and safe even though I was exposed more than I've really ever been. I never felt pressured to go too far from my comfort zone, but I felt safe enough to push my limits a little bit and try something new. My biggest fear was not liking any of the photos. I expected to see them and just immediately point out all the negatives like "I wish my stomach was smaller, I don't like my face, etc". But I was genuinely surprised and happy to see the photos! Over the moon about the whole experience!!! Turning 40 and having a life-changing year--to say the least--I wanted a day to feel beautiful again. Gabby makes you feel so comfortable, confident, and important. I have nothing but good things to say about this day, from the hair and makeup to the review at the end of the day. Somehow Gabby managed to make me feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. I do not consider myself someone who is particularly photogenic or really even enjoys my photo taken, so this is a feat in itself. She made it okay to be myself, it was clearly not a one size fits all approach, it was customized to me. I loved that there were so many wonderful photos to choose from! It was even better than I expected! Gabby was amazing. From our first talk, I felt comfortable and knew she'd respect my boundaries while giving me a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I started doing things outside my comfort zone after turning 50, and this boudoir session was a huge step. Before my session I was worried I would feel awkward or uncomfortable during the session and that I would only see my flaws in the final photos. Neither came true. I felt I looked beautiful in the photos and like me at my best. I liked that I was able to have an opinion/control over all parts of the process and not just fulfilling a vision or flow checklist. From hair/makeup look, how I felt in positions, to seeing images same day and selecting finals. There was no pressure and only support when I needed it. After my suicide attempt in 2021, I lost my power and my voice. This shoot was about reclaiming that and fully embracing who I am and where I am today.
