I just received my finished headshot and could not be more happy with it! I am an attorney in the Denver area and needed something for conferences/publications. Working with Aaron was a breeze. He's thoughtful, respectful, kind, and fun! He did a great job putting me at ease, giving me direction, and helping me get those last smiles when I was all smiled out. I had lots of great options to choose from and the final retouched image was better than I could have hoped. Aaron also provided it in many different convenient formats tailored to social media, web, print, etc. Thank you, Aaron! read more

Great experience at Denver Headshots by Tommy Collier & Aaron Lucy. Very kind and professional! I had my hair and make up done by Elizabeth, photos by Aaron, loved it all! Highly recommend. read more

I manage a large event department and am sometimes the face of the place. I haven't taken the time to have a professional headshot done in years and my lord, am I glad I did this year with Tommy!! I have always assumed he was busy winning EMMY's and producing television; and low and behold he has a fierce studio in RINO and is the easiest, most charming, human to work with. Captured the shots and did his magic and boom! Pricing is a total value and then you have this proper representation of the best YOU to share on the interwebs. That is how people first meet us anymore anyway! read more

I used Tommy Collier for a theater/film head shot and couldn't be more happy with the results. Overall, I had an awesome experience. I wanted to be sure I had a few options to choose from, so I went with the Express package which includes a 1 hour shoot and 1 final retouched image. The studio space is very comfortable and Tommy had everything setup for us to start on-time. Tommy made me feel very comfortable while working in the studio, taking time to show me different shots he captured as we worked throughout the hour. It didn't take more than a few days for Tommy to upload my proofs to a private site that I could view, and I was already happy with the number of options I had. Outside of the incredible quality and detail of the image, Tommy was also courteous enough to include a conferencing session. We linked up on a screen-sharing session and he walked me through his favorite picks, and explained to me why they were his favorites and what the major differences were between some of the looks. By the end of it, I felt so much more confident in my decision. Anyone who works with Tommy, absolutely take advantage of this offer and I promise you won't regret it! Long-story-short, I received my final image and was incredibly happy with the work Tommy had done. My head shot has a fantastic glow and high-detailed look without appearing airbrushed or fake, which is exactly what you want out of a actor's head shot. Tommy is a pro in every aspect of the business: from working with you in studio (regardless of your skill level), through making your decision and receiving a final product that is well worth the cost. read more

Tommy took some professional headshots of me at an event, and they turned out absolutely wonderful, and totally exceeded my expectations. He gave easy to following instructions and made me feel completely at ease during the shoot. Because I have glasses on, he adjusted the lighting setup to minimize any glare...The entire process was quick and simple. I'm very impressed with his service, and highly recommend him for all photo needs. read more

I searched long and hard for an excellent headshot photographer and I am SO glad I went with Tommy Collier Productions! Tommy and his associate, Aaron, have an impeccable eye for detail and work tirelessly to get a shot that makes you look AWESOME! I will be having my employees get headshots here in the near future. It's more expensive than other places, but WORTH IT. Your first impression could be worth a million bucks, so it is a small -but highly valuable-investment. read more

Good experience, like my headshots. They were taken for corporate setting/professional work environment and I had very specific brand requirements which Aaron and Tommy were careful to make sure were met with the lighting and angle, etc. read more

Tommy is fantastic! I cannot say that enough. My pictures turned out amazing - he's efficient, fun and professional. I got tons of compliments on my photos - people kept saying how well he captured my personality through a photo. Not to mention I HATE being behind a camera - this was the most comfortable I have ever felt behind a camera and it allowed my natural expression to come out. This man is magic! read more

What can I possibly say to express my happiness with Tommy Collier? Wowza! This guy...he just makes me so very happy. I had a ton of apprehension going into this shoot. I must have cancelled about 5 times before finally gaining the courage to show up. I have gained weight and am older since I last had photos taken. I just kept putting off the process because I knew i would hate everything that was produced. I've had a couple of creepy headshot sessions, one where my hair was slicked back like a 1950s greaser and another where a sick cat had trouble climbing the stairs (poor cat), so my expectations were really low. Boy howdy was I wrong about everything. Not only was Tommy patient with my constant cancelling, but he was KIND about it. Really kind. Tommy made me laugh. He made me feel comfortable. He made me feel cute. Most of all, Tommy made me feel like me. Not the me who consistently feels like she's unwillingly locked inside a StayPuff marshmallow body, but instead the sassy, bawdy, quirky Manic Pixie Dream Girl me. I truly love Tommy Collier's spirit. Pick him to do your headshots and relax. He's a master. read more

It has been several years since my last professional headshot, as I am entering my next career I thought I should get a new one. Let me say WOW, they did a great job of capturing me! Their photos were the best I have ever seen and would give them 10 stars for my photos. I had the opportunity to work with Aaron, who made the entire shoot fun and easy. What I was surprised with was how they helped me prepare for my session by providing me excellent instructions and informational videos. This helped me relax and enjoy the process. I am very pleased and have recommended them to others. Thank you Denver Headshots and read more

I worked with Aaron for my headshot and could not have been more pleased. Aaron was patient, kind, thorough, and very good at what he does. Like some of the others here in the reviews, I was dreading the process. I'd never had a headshot taken, and didn't like my photo taken under any circumstances. Aaron made it painful, even enjoyable and entertaining. He's much more than a photographer. He was also a skilled coach and supporter. My wife was so impressed with the results that she scheduled a session with him only a week or so later, and her shots came out amazingly well also. read more

Tommy is amazing!! His studio is gorgeous. But more importantly he is very talented but at the same time very welcoming and down to earth. If you need a headshot, look no further, Tommy is your man. read more

I HATE having my picture made - just loathe it. There are very few of them in the world. My friend asked if I would be in a video shoot, I said yes before remembering that meant I had to have a lot of photos made. Groaning to myself, I dragged myself to a parking lot in RINO. Once there, the owner of the building came out to yell at me a bit for parking a vehicle in a parking spot. Great start, right. (Being the ultimate middle child, I worked it out.) So there I reluctantly and recently harassed arrive for this *thing* my friend asked me to do. And I met Tommy. We laughed the entire time. I felt like just by looking at me, he got a real sense of who and what I was. I had a great time. In the intervening years, I've seen Tommy's work -- both video and portrait. He's somehow able to transform the essence of who someone is into a 2-D color or black and white photo. No stilted photos here - pure gold that worked -- even for me. If you're looking to have a picture made of yourself, your family, the dog, schedule a session with Tommy. You won't regret it. read more

If you are considering professional headshots in Denver, look no further! Tommy is amazing. His work speaks for itself (as you can see in his sample pictures and portfolio). So, I do not need to continue to speak on his artistry :) Instead, I will focus on his professionalism and patience. We hired Tommy to do headshots of convention attendees (I can't even imagine how many hundreds he did in 3 days). He arrived on time every day and had a smile on his face (no matter how many times I asked him to retake my own photo). He made everyone laugh, which was great as the pictures appeared more relaxed. He was able to provide basic filters in real time and emailed the clients within minutes of the shoot (he did have an extra person there to help facilitate the emails). That kept things rolling. For me, personally, I did want to get my makeup done before the shoot and he was able to recommend Elizabeth and I would, also, recommend her. Thus, whether you need headshots just for yourself or if your company is looking to hire a Denver headshot photographer (for an event or just for website pics), Tommy is absolute the right artist for you. read more

Tommy is amazing, I would give him 6 out of 5 stars if I could! This was my 4th time getting professional headshots and this experience was the best in every category, including the finished product. I had fun doing the shoot, it was easy and didn't take very long. The toughest part for me was choosing which photos to use because they all looked amazing. read more

Tommy is by far and away the best photographer and videographer I've ever worked with. For the past four years, he has worked tirelessly and endlessly to produce commercials, print ads, photography, event coordination, marketing materials and a brand new website for my company. I believe he has single-handedly created significant brand awareness of our company in the community, and has also elevated our brand to the caliber of company we strive to be daily. If you ever get the opportunity to work with him, be ready to be utterly amazed and inspired. read more

I just love the whole story of how Tommy Collier and I came to work together. I had a session with another photographer who cancelled on me at the last minute. I was very upset because I was under a deadline to get them done. So, I called around and was referred to Tommy Collier. I was told that he was very talented so of course I thought I would never get in to see him. I took my chances and left him a message, so of course I was excited when he called me back. Tommy was genuinely concerned about my situation and even though he was involved in a move, he dropped everything that day to fit me in. Tommy is fun, though very professional. It's not natural to sit in front of bright lights though somehow he made me laugh and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend if you need headshots, Tommy Collier is the one for you! Thank you Tommy, you are the best! read more

My daughter is a broadcast journalist and she had her head shots taken by Tommy Collier Productions. His head shots are absolutely stunning. In fact, his head shots are so beautifully done that I decided to subscribe to his Instagram page just to follow his work. A number of my daughter's journalist friends' head shots were also done by Tommy. The equipment that he uses produces images that are crisp, bright, and flawless. His work is truly like no other photos I have ever seen. People's personalities seem to come alive on the page. His work is absolutely captivating. I highly recommend Tommy. By the way, thank you for the beautiful head shots of my daughter!!! read more
