Nathan shot my small, intimate wedding and did so with such an amazing eye for awesome shots! My husband and I were amazed by the photos he took and he certainly captures all the small details that a bride or groom wouldn't necessarily get to see while they're getting ready or otherwise preoccupied. I was happy that there were so many good photos to choose from for our wedding announcements and thank you cards. Nathan was very professional, accommodating and provided excellent service all the way through. He's trustworthy and definitely knows what he's doing. I highly recommend his photography and think the photos on his yelp provide an excellent testament to his work product. read more

Nathan, and his posse of fellow photographers, Jeremy Chou and Erich Chen, did an AWESOME job capturing our 3-day wedding in Cabo. Most of the time, we forgot they were working because they fit in so well with our group of friends and family. It's a great sign when your photographer shows up in some unforgettable photos having as good a time as you are. Through it all, partying at Cabo Wabo, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and his fare share of shots and margaritas, Nathan caught it all and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks Nathan! read more

I guess a year late is better than never. Nathan was a joy to work with. He helped with our vision of having a mix of engagement photos taken at our favorite food spots. I'm sure he didn't mind the free meals either. My only regret is that we didn't take him to Hawaii to do our wedding as well. read more

While looking for our wedding photographer, we had several interviews before deciding on Nathan. Obviously the first thing that caught our eye was his style and ability to capture the moment in a truly unique way. After that, it was his demeanor and his attention to what we wanted from him as our photographer that caused us to go with him. Another huge plus for us was his straight forward pricing in his packages, we felt that we got a great service at a great value. We had some ideas of what we wanted for our engagement session, but what Nathan captured for us was well beyond what we expected. All we really told him was the general are that we wanted to have our pictures, and the day of the shoot, he already had a solid idea of what he was going to shoot. Needless to say, we were very happy with our engagement photos, as well as the online hosting service that he provides. The day of our wedding, Nathan was at the venue with his assistant setting up early and capturing some amazing shots. From the images of us getting ready, to the images of our ceremony, to the images of our guests enjoying the reception; they did an amazing job. When we got to see our images, we were blown away at what we got; you would have thought there were 3+ photographers there by the amount of images and angles they got. We received the final images in a beautiful personalized USB drive in a personalized box, both very nice touches. We did not originally plan on purchasing an album, but based off what we received, we are most likely going to. I make a point to leave honest, balanced feedback, but I honestly have nothing but great things to say about Nathan Nowack photography. You will not be disappointed by making the choice to have him photograph your special day read more

I've been reluctant to start reviewing on Yelp, but it's time to break that. I wanted to save it for something special rather than some amazing food rec. So I decided to make my first Yelp review go out to Nathan Nowack. I was referred to him by other friends of mine that had him as their photographer. Funny thing is, he already knew who I was as "the dancing guy" from my friend's wedding, and he had proof of the dancing (I was a finalist in the dance off, so it shows I've got some dancing skills...or I just know how to make a fool of myself). My then-fiancée and now wife initially contacted him nearly 3 years ago (geez it was a while ago) when we initially started planning our wedding. His office in Fullerton was nice, cozy, and he made you feel welcome as well as well-informed of what you would be getting with his services (you can also ask about his logo if you're interested). We did not end up getting married then, and had to break the unfortunate news to Nathan. Fast forward 2 years later, we decided that it was time, and we knew we wanted to get Nathan back on our wedding crew! He was accommodating the whole way through, and even honored the initial deposit we had made when we first started planning with him! He has been a top-notch, very approachable, accommodating, and easy-going professional who shares a love for coffee (if it's going to be a long day, get him a cup of his favorite cold/hot brew please). We had a great time going around downtown LA for our engagement session and having him and Benny shoot our wedding. Couldn't have asked for better photographers for our big day! They are punctual, makes sure to keep track of time so you don't, and captures all the important moments that will matter to you in future years to come with his exceptional work. If you're thinking about going with Nathan as your photographer for whatever occasion, you won't regret it! read more

I am posting my review of Nathan a bit early but I simply couldn't wait! I was also appalled to read about that bad review he received unfairly :( Nathan did our engagement photo shoot back in March and he did a phenomenal job. I booked him back in January and through emails and calls we scheduled a face to face meeting. Communication with Nathan is seamless. Nathan is extremely patient and understanding. He answered my (sometimes odd) questions without a flinch and even helped us tailor our photography package. Our engagement photos came out beautiful and I get so many compliments on them. Nathan was very eager to please us and wanted our feedback as soon as possible. I got the sneak peak of my photos that same night and then Sunday morning I woke up to an email containing the other 150 photos take that day. All edited and softly touched up! This guy works his heart out! We cannot wait for him to do our Wedding in November. His professionalism puts you at ease and his personality makes you feel like you've know him forever! read more

Nathan and his team are just phenomenal--believe the perfect rating, people! My husband and I found him through yelp and we felt very comfortable after meeting with him. He also worked with our budget and was able to customize services to what we needed. Our wedding was in March 2015, and Nathan did both our engagement and wedding photography. The man is just talented, puts you at ease, and know how to capture the right moments. Nathan is also prompt with his turn-around time. My husband and I loved our photography--one of the best value investments we've made! We wouldn't hesitate to work with Nathan again as our family grows--his family photo shoots are lovely! :) read more

We must have interviewed a hundred photographers before finally selecting Nathan to take our engagement and wedding photos. Photos are one of the most important things you'll get from your wedding day to remember it by... so we wanted to be sure we were comfortable with who we picked. And I have to say, we absolutely made the right choice in going with Nathan! Nathan and his team are so easy to work with, from start to finish. He is professional, prompt, and extremely amiable and easy going, which is very helpful during stressful wedding times. And if you're rather camera-shy like me, Nathan will help you out a bit to make sure your pictures still turn out creative and beautiful. Both our engagement session and wedding day were primarily outdoors in various lights. Our reception was outside at night with minimal light. We also did some wedding shots down on the beach at sunset. Nathan was able to capture amazing photos in all settings. Some of our beach pictures were absolutely beautiful! You can be sure that Nathan will capture all the special moments of your big day in the best of quality. You won't regret selecting Nathan to be your wedding photographer! read more

My husband actually found Nathan through another website, we looked at his work and were very impressed by his shots. We emailed him and got a response right away. We met up with him the following week and it was all over! He was the one and only photographer we spoke to, and hired him right away back in September 2013. We didn't have an engagement shoot, but we still felt so comfortable with him. We were worried about our photographers being intrusive but Nathan and his staff were quote the opposite. Half the time we forgot he was even there! He captured shots organically, and didn't have to "stage" us because he had missed a shot. We had the "typical" shots but he also knew how to capture our unique style as well and get those "fun" photos in. As an additional service, we had Nathan prepare some "getting ready" photos to be displayed at our slideshow at dinner and the guests loved it. They said they had never seen it done before! The poor guy had to work all day in 90 degree weather, sweating bullets but never once complained. He just powered through the entire day without letting up. We had another reception a month after the wedding, and Nathan amazingly prepared about 100 photos ready for us to use for that as well. The rest of the photos we got back in a very timely manner. There were NO bad photos!! He has such great attention to detail! When we received our USB with our photos from him, it was in a personalized tin and the wooden USB drive was customized; carved with our names and our wedding date! The little things... made such an impression on us. You can tell he loves his job, and it shows in his photos. We cannot say enough good things about Nathan... he is talented, professional, creative, fun, and easy to talk to and work with! He was worth every penny. Your wedding only happens once... your photos will last a lifetime, Nathan should be the one to capture it all. You will not regret hiring him! read more

Nathan Nowack Photography - Photo by Nathan Nowack... Thank you for capturing our perfect day!! - Session Photography Near Me

For years, I had planned to have a photo shoot to celebrate my 50th birthday. Thankfully, I found Nathan online while searching for a photographer in the Orange County area. We are from Detroit and had never traveled to Orange County. It was difficult to choose an outdoor location so we leaned on his expertise. We could not have been any more happier! As soon as I viewed the first several photos, I was in tears! Nathan brought what I envisioned to life!! I am 100% happy with his professionalism, creativity and impressive work. He arrived early for the appointment and started work right away. He captured moments we had not even considered. HIRE HIM!! You will not be disappointed! I promise! read more

Nathan Nowack Photography - Happy 50th Birthday to me! ;-) - Session Photography Near Me

Yelp is not a dating site. That being said, my husband and I met on yelp a few years ago, so when it came to planning our wedding, naturally, we turned to yelp. My husband works in the photography industry and we had gotten offers from various photographers to shoot our wedding (some we could afford and some we couldn't), but none of them offered the style I was looking for. Nathan was one of the best reviewed photographers I found and I absolutely loved his style of photography. We met with Nathan at his studio and he was so friendly and helpful and immediately put us at ease. He is incredibly professional and puts an amazing amount of detail into everything. Even the contract packet was pretty! His style of photography is modern and timeless. He helped us tailor a package based on our budget and understood our wedding theme. He put us both at ease during the engagement shoot and really captured us as a couple. On the wedding day, he and his team arrived on time and went straight to work. His wife Allison, who was his assistant for the day, was so incredibly sweet and got right to work helping him set up the shots based on a list I'd given him. He and Allison also reassured me and calmed me down when I had a little freak out about my wedding makeup. Nathan and his assistant (Jeremy Chou, also a wedding photographer) were super stealthy and I barely noticed them through out the night, but man, did they get some amazing shots!! For the portraits, they both came up with some fun, unique ideas for pictures which was awesome! They captured moments that were a blur to me and when I saw the pictures, it was amazing to relive those moments. He even captured flattering candids, and as someone who has a tendency to be caught making weird faces at the wrong time, this was incredible! I've gotten rave reviews on our pictures already, and the way they were presented to us with our personalized memory stick in a personalized tin was so lovely. It's that kind of attention to presentation, detail, and professionalism that makes Nathan stand out. He even created a slide show for us set two of our favorite songs and it made everyone cry because it was so touching. I know budget is a big concern for brides, but do yourself a favor and invest in a true, professional wedding photographer like Nathan. These photos are really an investment and you want the absolute best for your big day. Nathan knows how to stage wedding shots and how to photograph in various venues, and how to wrangle people in for group shots. It's truly money well spent because your photos will come out breathtakingly beautiful. read more

I am enamored with Nathan's work and I am addicted to his blog (http://blog.weddingsbynathan.com/)! That's pretty much my review in the truncated form. We wanted to get some classic SoCal pics before we moved out of state and so in addition to the usual moving stressors I added finding an excellent photographer to my list. Thanks to Yelp I came across Nathan Nowack's site. I e-mailed him and one other photographer about a photo session. From our first contact, Nathan won me over. He responded quickly (okay, so did the other person), but even in his e-mail he was able to convey a sense of genuineness that immediately had me hooked (the other person clearly did not). After reading over his pricing information, I knew I had found what I was looking for and could cross that task off of my to do list. I peppered Nathan with lots of e-mails asking about this and that since I'm a research-aholic and he never once gave even a hint of saying "enough with the questions already -please just stop!!" Quite to the contrary, he encouraged my questions. The result of one of those inquiring e-mails was that we took his suggestion for a location in the South Bay area near the Ocean and it was absolutely perfect. Nathan embodied the affable manner I need from a photographer in order for me to have a chance at looking at least remotely photogenic (knowing there's a camera on me usually brings out my over exaggerated superficial smile--lovely!). He took an authentic interest in engaging our 20 month old daughter, which of course endeared himself to me even more. Even my normally anti-camera husband seemed to be enjoying the photo shoot. Now that's probably the highest compliment a photographer can receive from our family! I was mildly (but pleasantly!) shocked to hear him say he'd have pictures for us to see in about a week. He did a wonderful job of keeping in touch even after the photo session and provided us with some teaser photos (yep, just a week later), which I consumed with unabashed delight. Only a few hours after that, he had our session posted to his blog--something that immediately got shared with all known friends and family. Not long after that, I got another e-mail stating that the rest of the photos (of which there were many!!) were online, as well. (Oh and let's not forget that DURING our photo session we were sometimes privy to a sneak peak at the image on the camera!) The emotion of these precious random moments in our daughter's life has been beautifully captured by Nathan and I couldn't be happier with our photos. I have already passed along his information to all of our L.A. friends. Therefore, if you're on the lookout for someone to freeze-frame a special event in your life or just those everyday moments that we often times overlook, then I enthusiastically encourage you to choose Nathan Nowack. I sure am glad that we did! read more

Ok, so, this review is JUST for Nathan's customer service. Maybe it's because I'm not a fire breathing Bridezilla, but I sent Nathan an email explaining my I'm-flat-broke budget, and he responded that same day. Not only that, but he offered to help with his connections for make up/hair/DJ/everything. He recommended TWO other photographers who were within my budget, and their work was almost as awesome as all of his. I mean, if the guy is willing to help me for free, what's he going to do for someone who pays?! read more

When it comes to wedding vendors, they all play an important part. The most important, though, are the photographs, because they will last for years and years. I was picky when it came to photography style and quality, and I wasn't going to skimp on the photographer. I know people who opted for less experienced photographers and it became their biggest regret. I decided to meet up with Nathan after I read his Yelp reviews and had some professional photographer friends and family members evaluate his work. Once I got the nod of approval, I went to meet with him. Nathan is genuinely friendly, energetic, and helpful in tailoring his packages to suit my needs. On the day of the wedding, the other members of my wedding team had nothing but good things to say about Nathan and the second photographer, Jove (from Jovanni Photography). They worked flawlessly together and with my videographers and coordinators. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Upon receiving the photos from our wedding, I was delighted. Nathan and Jove captured all of the important moments and even snuck in intimate candid shots that trigger deep, profound emotions when I see them. They captured the beauty, excitement, and love from that day in the most artistic, beautiful way. Nathan was always exceptional in his communication in both reasonable response time and quality of response. If you like his photography style (check out his portfolio), I wouldn't hesitate to ask for a consultation. Should I ever need a professional photographer again, I know who I'm going to. read more

My husband and I were actually referred to Nathan by another photographer. You already know he will be a good one if another professional in the field will recommend him. before meeting Nathan, we have met up with multiple photographers for our wedding. those consultations weren't bad...they weren't good either. nothing stood out at all. But when we met Nathan, it was definitely different. He was friendly, different, professional, organized, and creative. I don't mean to offend any photographers out there, but seriously, most of our encounters with them were so awkward. there lots of moments of silence during our meetings. Nathan immediately made us feel at ease during our initial consultation. we were totally relaxed and could actually imagine how fun it would be to have our wedding/engagement photos taken by him. His prices were very fair and he was very accommodating. His response time to any phone calls and emails are super fast too! With me being a complete control freak, I completely let go of anything that has to do with photography to Nathan because I trusted him. He got all of our engagement and wedding shots within the reasonable time he promised. Overall, we were very happy with Nathan and I've already referred a few of my friends to him. =) Can't wait to book him again for future events! read more

Nathan is just amazing. I've never been professionally photographed and Nathan made us feel so comfortable. Beyond that he made sure that the photos really showed our personalities. He laughed at our silly faces, but also caught the loving glances. For our engagement shoot, I had a few ideas that I floated by Nathan, he replied quickly with research about each place's rules on photography, any fees, and then suggested other places more photo friendly! We ended up taking photos in 3 different locations in downtown LA. The day of the wedding could not have been easier! He and his second photographer were there early and seemed to already know all the cool spots for photos in the hotel. They were super accommodating with my idea for a first look and made it beautiful. Then, I couldn't believe this... They gave us a ride to our wedding venue! We said we were going to Uber and Nathan so sweetly offered to drive us. Who does that?! Nathan Nowack does. The photos we came out with are fantastic. Seeing Nathan's different techniques, his use of the environment and even household materials (shiny teapots, glasses, glowsticks) was really inspiring. Nathan's email communication is so prompt and professional. We even had issues with our photos getting delivered after our wedding (not Nathan's fault, whoever stole it off our doorstep), and Nathan launched into tracking the package through the carrier and sent us a new set. He says he doesn't do maternity or baby photos, but I think after the birth of his son and by the time we get a bun in the oven Nathan might have expanded his repertoire... I look forward to that maternity shoot ;) I feel like this review is all over the place, but there is just so much good in Nathan Nowack I don't know how to get it out in an orderly manner! Thank you, Nathan, for making us look good!! read more

Nathan Nowack is extremely talented and it was a pleasure to have him shoot my wedding. We just received the pictures and they are amazing. They are worth every penny. I was really drawn to the photo-journalistic style of Nathan's photography. Since my husband (then fiance) and I decided that wedding photography was going to be one of the most important part (aside from venue) for our budget. Relatives may claim that they can take great pictures with their SLRs but it is just not the same. There is a world of difference between a professional wedding photographer and your friend or family member with an SLR. We felt that 90% of our wedding is taking pictures. There is no re-wind button to go back and re-capture those important moments. Nathan captured everything beautifully and knew exactly when, where, and how to capture those special moments. He is also has great customer service and is friendly. While we were taking pictures, he made us feel at ease even though we weren't used to being photographed so much. I also love that you get all of your photos on a USB flash drive so you can have the ability to print your own photos. This is not the case with all photographers and it was one of the most important things for me when searching for a photographer. I would not hesitate for anyone to use Nathan for your photography. He is extremely professional, talented, and his prices are very reasonable. read more

Ok- I'm so so SO excited to review Nathan. He is simply AMAZING in all areas- customer service, photography and communication with both me and my husband during the very stressful time leading up to our wedding. We hired him to shoot our wedding at Disneyland and everything was just perfection. There were pictures that were taken-I had no idea how the heck he could have had the time to do all of this awesome creative stuff! We had two photographers and his wife who helped out- who honestly.... was just awesome. They made the day fun and no stress which is exactly what we wanted. He is extremely affordable and you definitely get what you pay for with Nathan. I was really surprised to see any bad review for him - because that just doesn't sound like Nathan. I will say that until we gave a deposit and went over the contract and signed it with him, no plans were made- but then again, that's how all of our wedding vendors worked. Anyone that's thrown a shindig knows there's paperwork and contracts involved- but after we committed to him as our photographer everything went perfect. If you want to see Nathan's work on our wedding, it can be found at www.michaelandginia.com We are also renewing our vows in Santorini this summer and have hired Nathan to photograph that. You know your photographer's good when you want to bring them halfway around the world with you! ;) read more

Of all our wedding vendors, Nathan and his team were by far the best - professional, friendly, responsive and a real pleasure to work with. We planned our October wedding in Southern California from New York City, and he was so quick to get back to us whenever we had questions and followed through on all his promises. Amazing! His day-of team (himself, his wife Allison and 2nd photographer Kaysha) showed up right on time and ready to go. They are all super friendly and easy-going and made all of us (from wedding party to guests to family) so comfortable. We just got the link to our photos this week and they turned out beautifully - better than we could have imagined. I loved that we didn't have to give them much direction beyond a shot list. Nathan's eye is amazing, capturing so many things I didn't get to see during the ceremony & reception. We recommend Nathan and his team wholeheartedly! read more

I've said it before but... you get what you pay for. When my then-soon-to-be-wifey recommended (i.e., picked) Nathan for our wedding, I was skeptical. But Nathan and his crew was well worth it. He's very responsive and receptive. He didn't insist on the stereotypical wedding pictures we hate. He let us (ok, her) do a boudoir shoot instead of an engagement shoot. The pictures, albums (physical and online) and even cute little custom USB drive keepsake (yeah, that's a thing, apparently) all turned out great. Thanks, Nathan! read more

We hired Nathan for our engagement and wedding day. Everything was perfect. My husband and I are not very creative in poses, and we're the type that will make weird smiley faces because we're camera shy. Nathan brought out the natural look and beauty in us! He was always on time, patient and kind. I wish I could be more detailed about our experience but I have a 5-month old now and she's a handful. This review was long overdo (my wedding was back in Oct 2013), but Nathan did such a wonderful job that I couldn't let a 5 star review go! Thanks again, Nathan!! read more

Nathan was great. We needed his services for our corporate head shots. He was available to come out on a Sunday during a team meeting and it worked out well. Nathan took pictures for our June 2009 wedding. He is hands down the best photographer ever! I ran across all the great reviews on Yelp and decided to make an appointment to meet him. After meeting him we instantly knew he would be the person capturing our special moments. He was easy to talk to and get along with and above all he made us feel very comfortable to be around him which was very important for us. When we met him we knew we didn't want any engagement photos but after we saw his work we were convinced and decided to do them. It was a great opportunity to practice before our wedding and Nathan was just incredible and easy to work with. He took awesome photos of us around west LA and we were at ease knowing that our wedding day was going to be photographed by him. Our wedding day came and Nathan was on time and ready to go. The pictures came out beautiful from the chapel to the lighthouse, all the way until the very last minute of our reception. Not only have we received great compliments from friends and family on Nathan's photographs but everyone loved how he was easy going, yet professional, and not pushy at all. At times you would forget he was even there. Everything just ran so smoothly. We highly recommend him for any photo session. This review is LONG overdue, as Nathan took our engagement photos almost a year ago. But, better late than never, right! Nathan was terrific to work with. From the beginning, he was very responsive to my email requests, provided great location suggestions since we were relatively new to the area, and was flexible with dates and times. During our photo shoot, he was terrific! He made us feel comfortable, made us laugh, and captured the sweet natural moments that occurred before and after when we expected him to take a picture. We love our photos and very much enjoyed working with Nathan! read more

Had to post a second review for Nathan after he did a portrait session with our new puppy. I have no idea how he got all of the awesome shots that he did. I am a matchmaker and my client hired Nathan to do some head shots for his profile. Nathan was great at corresponding with me over email to make sure we were prepared for the shoot and he understood what look I was going for. On the day of the shoot, I showed up at the beginning of the shoot to assist my client with his wardrobe selection and look at possible areas for the shoot. Nathan was very friendly and easy to work with and he did a great job making my client feel comfortable, which was a very important aspect of this shoot. We got the proofs back within the next few days and the touched-up pictures within the week. We interviewed a couple of recommended photographers that were recommended for our Wedding. After meeting with Nathan, we were confident that we found the right person for the job. Leading up to our engagement session, Nathan had been in constant contact via email and text. We had engagement photos taken on the UCI campus. I wasn't too sure about this location, but Nathan had assured my wife and I that this location would suit what we were looking for. It was a fun afternoon and it also gave us time with Nathan to get to know him. He sent us his photos and they came out great. We were excited to see how he was able to capture us at UCI and was able to make it look completely different and like we were at several different spots. During our wedding, Nathan and his team were polite, professional and fun to be around. Nathan took photos of my wife getting ready with the Bridesmaids and another one of his team shot photos of me and my groomsmen. They got all the great shots. Just before the reception there was time to try and get artistic with the photos and stage a few shots. His team was covering the whole reception and was able to capture all the great moments. We got a sneak preview of a select few photos and were excited to see how well they came out. A few weeks later we got all the photos and were really impressed with how they came out. I couldn't recommend a better photographer for any event! read more

Nathan in one word is amazing! He takes time to listen to your needs and captures every moment to perfection. We couldn't be more impressed and pleased with the quality of the photography but also just working with Nathan overall - he's extremely responsive, professional, and a great person to be around. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to capture their big day or memorable event and would definitely be using his services again! read more

I am going to start off by saying this is not going to be a short review! We found Nathan through yelp when my now husband and I first got engaged (Jan 2011). We wanted to find someone to do both engagement shots and our wedding photography, and I really like photojournalistic type photography, so Nathan was a great fit. We met with several photographers, all who had great work to show us, but both my husband and I felt immediately comfortable when we met Nathan. He is so nice and made me feel confident that he understood exactly what we wanted. When it came time for our engagement shoot, Nathan was so patient with us! I had a fairly specific idea in mind of what I wanted the images to look like and he had a ton of great ideas for us. We decided on the UCI campus where we could get both greenery/ nature shots, and some more dressed up shots as well. My husband was VERY nervous driving over there but Nathan made him relaxed once we started. I could not have been happier with the outcome of our final pictures! He caught some amazing moments of the two of us just being our happy silly selves, which is hard to do sometimes!! We ordered a 'coffee table book' that served as our guestbook at the wedding with all our engagement pictures. LOVE IT! Over 8 months passed before our wedding (March 2012). And again, I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Nathan brought a second photographer and an assistant (his wife!), and we have over 1200 images of the entire day. I really wanted to do a 'first look' between my husband and I before the ceremony and I am so incredibly glad we did. The pictures are amazing... Nathan captured such amazing emotion between my husband and I that I cried all over again looking at them. I will remember that moment forever so I am so grateful for Nathan's photos. We took all of our pictures before the ceremony and he kept us on time and everything went smoothly! There were 18 people in our bridal party to coordinate and he did an amazing job taking charge and getting some great shots. Ceremony pictures were amazing, and some classic late night dance floor pictures too. I have been busy looking through all of our pictures, and LOVE so many of them it is going to be hard to narrow it down for our wedding album. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, you cannot go wrong with Nathan. Our wedding would not have been the same without him and his team. We will definitely be seeing him again in the future for dog/baby/family pictures!! read more

This review is LONG overdue considering we got married in January. But I had to make sure that I posted something. We found Nathan through Wedding Wire very early on in our search or vendors. At that point, we didn't have a date or venue secured. Although nobody made a bad impression with us for not having replied the first day we sent e-mails, Nathan certainly got bonus points for replying to us on a Sunday evening. We looked at his work online and my (then) fiance was impressed--which kind of takes a lot. So we set up a meeting. After talking to Nathan for a short time and getting to know him, we decided not to look any further for a photographer. While we were in the car on the way home we looked at each other and said --so..we're booking him, right? If most pictures are worth a thousand words, Nathan's are worth ten thousand. Although we knew we were willing to spend a little more money on pictures, we still were not able to break the bank. He is also flexible and can work with a range of budgets (ours being on the lower end). We told Nathan how much we wanted to spend and what we wanted and he made something work for us. I also appreciate that Nathan is not only easy going, but puts everyone at ease around him. I spent a good part of my wedding day with him and really appreciated his sense of calm. He is organized and checked with us to make sure he got everything we wanted. When tons of other newlyweds are worried about seeing their pictures, we got ours in a timely manner and have been able to share them with our friends and family. read more

chadd and i have been together for a long time and never really had cool photographs of us and so i wanted to get a pro! my wonderful sister in law hired nathan for her wedding and i loved all the photos! so bam! i hired him to photograph chadd and i and boy did i get some amazing photos! nathan is a very talented and very professional photographer! he made chadd and i feel super comfortable because he is so easy to talk to. He even gave us tips on how to choose neat places in los angeles. which was super-helpful because there are a lot of places that charge(like the huntington) and there are places that are less crowded. nathan is also very creative with framing shots. i loved the cool angles! i love that we will have these photos forever! big thanks nathan from hope and chadd :) read more

We decided that it was about time that we took our very first professional family picture, so we turned to yelp and found Nathan. From our very first meeting, he was friendly and personable. He had all kinds of suggestions as to where we should take our pictures, and we decided on a beach photo-shoot. Nathan then proceeded to show us some sample shots and we were immediately impressed with the quality of the photos he takes. I know many people have the misconception that family portraits are full of awkward forced smiles, but with Nathan we got the exact opposite. On the day of our shoot, he somehow managed to capture the best smiles and the best laughs of the day. We didn't feel awkward at all. He even got our fidgety Bichon Frise dog to cooperate, and got some really great shots of the kids and the dog. We ended up with around 100 quality pictures. He was quick getting the final photos back to us, but you can tell that he did so with expertise and care. Overall, we highly recommend Nathan. He is so professional and talented at what he does. Thank you so much Nathan! read more

Nathan did some family photos and was the photagrapher for my daughter's 1st birthday party. They were amazing and very artistic. My out of town reletives were quite impressed. Because of how well that went, I asked him to do the photagraphy and layout of a brochure for my company. The price was below my other bids, the results were fantastic, and it has been a major success. I would highly recomend Nathan Nowack Photagraphy for any job. read more

Nathan is not only a great photographer but a really nice guy who makes you feel comfortable. That's the most important thing about any photographer, someone who will let you just be goofy and yourself. He's a very supportive friend who has attended many of my shows. All in all, a great guy. read more
