I expected a typical soft serve experience and that is what I got. Though from the reviews I thought I was going together an especially good burger, and it was (as another reviewer said) on the low side of mediocre. Fresh. Yes. Flavor... meh. They didn't have slushies. I wanted one. Not always in the mood for dairy. The ice tea was bland. I ordered a peach hand pie as I'd been driving all day and believe something sugary is a good reward. (I am admittedly self deluding). I thought it said "homemade" somewhere and I looked forward to whatever Arkansas grandma made these in her spare time to delight patrons and passers by. I posted pictures, I shall call "hand pie requiem." "Food" like this shouldn't exist anymore. It was designed in some food lab 50 years ago, and is made in some dumpster fire of a factory somewhere. It tasted more like black licorice than peach pie. It was so disgusting I pitched it after two bites. For decency's sake. Take these off the menu.

Every ingredient, every fold of dough, every secret of the filling came directly from her loving hands. This recipe, refined over generations, is at the heart of everything we do. After inheriting her recipe, I set out to share this family tradition with others, adding small enhancements to satisfy modern tastes without losing the essence that makes these cannolis timeless. Over the years, we’ve expanded our offerings to include popular twists like our signature cannoli cups and cannoli crème-filled strawberries, offering a fresh take while staying true to the rich, authentic flavors passed down through the generations. Today, every treat we make is a tribute to my grandmother’s legacy, celebrating her passion and dedication in each bite. It’s our mission to bring a taste of our family’s table to yours, one delicious cannoli at a time.

The owner and his partner make all the ice cream themselves, it's the real deal. I had a scoop of the strawberry on a waffle cone (also made on site), and couldn't hold a conversation until I was done inhaling the entire scoop. It was so delicious, with a great rich texture and amazing flavor. My friend had vanilla and said the same. Mamoo is changing the ice cream game for this town! They've got roughly 18(?) flavors to choose from, and really you can't go wrong. The owner is so nice, and happy to help you narrow down choices so that you get the perfect scoop. The shop is located slightly below street level. It's a little hard to find because you have to go through a small lobby first, then another set of doors to the right. But trust me, it's well worth the search. Definitely the best ice cream in town!
